    Totally love all the neat things you and your wife build. You are both very talented. If I may make a suggestion, in one of your future builds. I think it would be great if you made one of your droid interfaces actually functional, like a volume switch, lighting adjustment, or an on/off switch. I thought about it when I was re-watching your build on your soldering station, and thought it would've been awesome if you had put the droid interface up by the fans and used it to activate the fans and lights. Keep making something out of nothing, and inspiring us all.

    Airbrush Tip: Cut off the back half of the needle cover so you don't have to take it off every time you want to clean/adjust the needle. You can make it short enough to access the tightening collar nut while leaving it long enough for a comfortable grip.

Turning something like that into a bridge for something out of Star Wars or Star Trek, with the plane cockpit hooked up to some repurposed Shipping Containers turned into a clubhouse type spaceship on the inside of it, outside of the build turned spaceship like or given a look of hiding the spaceship in someway.

    Do you happen to have the file for the rocker switches available? I was hoping to find them on patreon but didn’t see them

      I reach out to electronics stores or pawn shops, I also reach out to Audio Video companies in my area and offer to take their old electronics and recycle them.

    I've always wondered how this type of collab works. Is he making you something in exchange? Were you hired and paid? Are you doing it for free for the possible new audience? As someone who plans on starting a maker TH-cam channel, I'd love to know.

    • @TheSmugglersRoom
      @TheSmugglersRoom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      These type of collaborations are done because makers want to work together. We have been huge fans of Bob and his team at I Like to Make Stuff, so this was just a great chance to help out another maker with an awesome project.

      @@TheSmugglersRoom Ah, cool. I didn't think it would work that way since I believe you both sell stuff that you make aside from the vids. But I suppose its not much different from people at a Maker Space who sell stuff that will help each other out on builds. (I hope my local Maker Space re-opens soon... I also hope it re-opens at all. Maker Space in the UK is a lot more niche)

    • @TheSmugglersRoom

      You can print out patterns on a printer and then use a jigsaw and a router, or even just a jigsaw to cut the pattents
