If you watch closely, all of the cartoons within the Popeye show have had the Paramount logos reinserted into the main titles, recreating what they may have looked like during their original theatrical run. But when those same cartoons show up on Late Night Black and White, they're still shown with their 1950's-era A.A.P. television titles (or at least portions of it). Why didn't Turner simply prepare new remasters of those cartoons with their original titles back on? Was it just pure laziness or did Paramount ask for royalties to use their logo? 26:38 How did that get thru the FCC?
