Cartoon Network commercials (June 18th, 2000)
Happy Father's Day! or Feather’s Day in this case, as we got about an hour’s worth of commercials from Daffy Duck’s Feathers Day Special! (thanks again @ThatWeirdoWhoMakesVideos for the disc copy!) This was a marathon CN aired back in 2000 where they showed nothing but Daffy shorts, a number of good ones too (minus “Tease for Two”). Nothing too big commercial wise here but there’s some cool promos for Cartoon Cartoon Fridays and Summer, plus some promos advertising the premiere of JBVO. And of course plenty of Feathers Day bumpers (with VO work from Harry Shearer!)

Cartoon Network commercials (January 6th, 2002)
มุมมอง 4.4K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
First upload of the year comes from the last tape I bought last year! Another batch of commercials that aired during the always great Late Night Black & White, and if you notice, this block featured nothing but Porky Pig shorts! Nothing too big commercial wise but one thing that stands out is a promo for the ToonHeads episode “Baby Boom Toons” (which had premiered a week back)
The Bob Clampett Show- Show #4 segments (mostly complete)
มุมมอง 3K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Merry Christmas to you all! Here's the wraparound segments for the 4th episode of The Bob Clampett Show, sourced from a tape lot I got last year! My copy is missing the opening intro but other than that it's all here. I got two other episodes (albeit incomplete) to share segments from so keep an eye out for 'em!
The Popeye Show- Show #28 segments (partially complete)
มุมมอง 2.2K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
Perfect time to upload these, on the 21st anniversary of the episode's premiere! Here are the wraparound segments for show #28 of The Popeye Show, sourced from, believe it or not, the original airing of this episode! Really cool that this premiered on my second birthday. Unfortunately, my copy is a tad incomplete, only missing a bit of the first segment and little bit of the third.

Happy Thanksgiving all! We got ourselves a good hour’s worth of commercials that aired during Late Night Black & White, Droopy and Popeye! This is probably one of my favorite tapes in my collection, all the blocks featured a number of Thanksgiving/Native American themed shorts that were rarely seen on the channel. Nowadays you can find some of these shorts on DVD, but back then this was a prett...
ToonHeads- The Wartime Cartoons (wraparound segments)
มุมมอง 2.1K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hope ya like ToonHeads as much as I do, cause we got ourselves a real treat here! Here’s the wraparound segments for ToonHeads: The Wartime Cartoons. All this comes from a screener tape of the special that I was lucky enough to snag off of eBay a couple months back, easily one of my favorite tapes in my collection.

First of two uploads today in honor of Veterans Day, starting with some commercials that aired during the premiere of show #2 of The Popeye Show and a Late Night Black & White block with nothing but WWII era Popeye shorts (and then some). This comes from a dubbed tape I picked up a couple months ago, the audio’s a bit quite though I couldn’t find a way to boost it up in the editing software I u...
Porky's Hare Hunt (1992 computer-colorized titles)
มุมมอง 9Kปีที่แล้ว
“Porky’s Hare Hunt” was released on this day in 1938! This marks not only the first time Ben Hardaway directed a Porky Pig short, but the first appearance of a character that would later evolve into Bugs Bunny. So hey, not a bad idea to post the computer-colorized titles for this short today. This is sourced from a Bugs & Daffy block (March 3rd 2001 to be exact).
Pied Piper Porky (1992 computer-colorized titles)
มุมมอง 3.2Kปีที่แล้ว
So I hear it's Disney Channel's 40th birthday today. I don't have anything from the channel, but this set of computer colorized Looney Tunes titles from a short that features a mouse will do fine. Computer colorized titles for the 1939 Looney Tunes short "Pied Piper Porky", sourced from a marathon of Porky Pig shorts from Boomerang (sometime in September 2002, dunno exactly when)
Prehistoric Porky (1995 computer-colorized titles)
มุมมอง 3.3Kปีที่แล้ว
Computer-colorized Looney Tunes shorts are good for ya! Nah actually they aren’t, you should be watching the original B/W versions of these instead. Here’s the computer colorized titles for the 1940 Looney Tunes short “Prehistoric Porky”, sourced from a Boomerang block from sometime in September 2002. Thanks to @RetroCCNduy for letting me buy this tape from them (plus a couple others)!
Turner Classic Movies program break (September 30th, 1996)

Happy belated birthday to TCM! Don’t really have anything else from April as far as my TCM tapes go so,d this’ll do just fine. Aired inbetween "If Winter Comes" and "Prisoner of Zenda". Lots of cool promos including a Star Story on Errol Flynn, two From the Vaults shorts (a savings bond PSA with Rowan and Martin and a Jimmy Fund ad featuring Deborah Kerr), and plenty of up next menus, bumpers a...

มุมมอง 8Kปีที่แล้ว
Second half of yesterday's upload, this time we get some commercials that aired during the late night hours of CN. Aired in between Space Ghost Coast to Coast, O Canada, Late Night Black & White, and the Animate Your World vignettes (which aired before a Pink Panther block). One thing to note is the use of the blue up next bumpers instead of the dark blue they would usually, to be honest I'm no...

Two uploads in one day? Why not! This was from an eBay pickup from back in August of last year that I never really got around to uploading the breaks for (except for the Cartoon Planet filler I posted back on Christmas), so here it is! These all aired during Toonheads (wraparound segments intact!!), Tom & Jerry, Johnny Bravo, Ed Edd n' Eddy, Cow & Chicken and the Powerpuff Girls! Tons of cool c...

Happy 100th to Warner Brothers! To kick off our month long look at commercial breaks from various Warner owned channels, we have a very small TCM program break from the late 90's. You'll see a incomplete promo for the Darkness After Dawn showcase and a trailer and Robert Osborne hosted intro for "Dark Passage"!

Happy Oscars Day! The Academy Awards are in progress at the time that I'm posting this, so hey, no better time to upload some stuff from the most award-winning season on television! Here's some TCM program breaks from their very first 31 Days of Oscar celebration!! These aired in-between "This Land is Mine" and "A Patch of Blue", featuring a Robert Osborne hosted intro and outro! Besides that, ...
Back when CN was great.
I think this print was made after the Turner-Time Warner merger, so that must be why there is the WB Television logo. Or that logo was added there additionally?
Oh, how I miss the old Powerhouse Era of Cartoon Network. Some of the best years of my later childhood. IMO, the Powerhouse Era was probably the best in Cartoon Network history. This must've been recorded during the late night hours, due to the blue/black colors of the CN bumpers.

2:27 I remember this commercial, but never realized that was Charlie Day.
“Minus Tease for Two”? You mean you don’t like it? Why not? Side comment: I totally remember the Feather’s Day Special marathon. CN sure went all out with marathons for special occasions at the time. And I don’t know if you noticed but they tended to show Post Pebbles ads with the 1994-1997 design despite the change on the box already made.

The best thing about Nick GAS was that they had the old Nickelodeon game shows comprised as Double Dare (Marc Summers era), Nick Arcade, Legends of the Hidden Temple and so on. I miss all those game shows.

Can you record the whole WIZARD of oz sing along special from April 8 2024? It aired in TCM.
When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and forced the United States into World War II.
Of course you know, this means war!
When America entered World War II, the cartoon characters and the comic book superheroes banded together to help fight the Axis Powers. Germany, Japan, and Italy proved to be formidable foes. But they were no match for the likes of Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Popeye, Porky Pig, Tom and Jerry, Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, The Flash (Jay Garrick), Green Lantern (Alan Scott), The Atom (Al Pratt), Hawkman (Carter Hall), Doctor Fate, Green Arrow and Aquaman.

I miss the old TMC . It was a play to escape to get away from today's world.
I miss the old TCM. I could watch it all day. It is a shadow of what it was.
