I subed your channel for a reason and have never been disappointed but I'm here to challenge you cause there ain't a man with plan that uses a can that can do better than a man with a plan that goes from scratch can, all I'm saying is use what you used but cook it from scratch. Take a crockpot or griddle/stovetop of beans and use some roux for cheese you know what I'm talking about make it your own and get jiggy with it and dazzle us by going above and beyond. We all have faith in you, your a beloved personality and a maker tear it up son.
Haha... If you've seen my ACP video, I've made a homemade "cheese dip" before and would be this same principle. For this dip, mud flap as I call it, I've always used Velveta. Here's that video - th-cam.com/video/DMOmgTcfFZQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9R9ivX8YNjPGYT7g
@@thehungryhussey I bought some citric acid for removing hard water deposits and can be used to make nacho cheese without flour just mix it with baking soda water milk and cheese and the citric acid is a preservative so it can last longer but not that it ever does.
Good video Matthew. ! You have come a long way my friend. Question what became of your big smoker / grill what ever it is called ? THANK you Frank from montana......
@@thehungryhussey Respectfully disagree, yours looks good don't get me wrong, but the smoked gouda vs cream cheese, cream of jalapeno, I personally can't do the corn in a queso. Everyone has their own spin with the same basic principle though.
Ohhhh Hussley!! That dip looked tasty. Easy to make, too. You needed some ice cold diet Cheerwine to wash it down!! New rule: stop inviting those judgey Andersons over to the house!!
Hussey, man I was with you until you added corn to Texas's national dish! Really corn? Come on man! I still gave a thumbs-up because at least you used Rotel.
We all need to come together and help this man. On the outside it seems he has 184k subs and plenty of income and yet within the video he doesn't have any fresh corn, fresh tomatoes, real cheese, and doesn't even have an electric can opener. I'm sure the dip was still very tasty and I would love to see you do a giant mukbang. I'd like to see how much smoked dip you can get down at one time.
@@thehungryhussey how badly is your channel being crushed by TH-cam new invalid traffic tyrannical hammer machine? I won't bore you with all of the protection methods and what goes on behind the curtains, but here's your sign.
Corn, really...what planet are you from? Smoked Queso is the best. If it doesn't taste better smoked, it's not meant to be eaten. Similarly, if it doesn't taste better with hot sauce, it wasn't meant to be eaten. I cook my chorizo in a Dutch oven then add all the other ingredients, never use Rotel, have my own pico, lots of Serrano's and Jalapenos. Add in some of your favorite rub to spice it up, then put it on the smoker. Corn, leave it for mashed potatoes and gravy.
if you want to be a real son with balls, sub the corn with green beans and sub the black beans with pintos, then sub the jalapenos with habaneros, then make your own tortilla chips, yeah boy, smack city boy son

Love smoked queso. I’ve made it with the white velveeta and it’s so good.
I bet it is!
Man, that looks so good. If I made a batch of that, I'd be eating it all week.
Looks pretty good Hussey. And what l like is that it’s simple to make. You were brave to handle it with no mitts. Have a great day Matt.
Hands of steel brother!

Hello friend! Been thinking about you. I hope all has been well. That mud flap is no joke!
@@thehungryhussey I appreciate you, Matthew. Doing well here. Could use some of that mud flap though... 🤣
Errbody need some Mud Flap, even them Andersons!
Looks fantastic! Thanks for posting it!
Yummy! Shared on FB. Thank you so much.
Awesome! Thank you!
Made some yesterday. This is a staple for us during football season
It's so good and so easy!
That looks awesome Matt! Perfect for the game! Cheers brother
Used to make this every Sunday almost when I watched a lot of football.
Just be happy ! Great advice, be thankful and be happy

Smoke it on 200° for 1-1/2 hrs stirring it every 30 mins awesome
I've never tried a lower temp like that. Gotta give it a go!
Looks awesome, hey man what flavor of wood did you smoke it with?
These are competition Pit Boss Pelets... They do well for me. Get it from Walmart.
Good morning from Gatlinburg TN Cousin😊🏞️🌄🐻
Thanks for stopping by cuz!
@@thehungryhussey always!!! Now, I just need YOU to possibly swing by one of My videos saying hello! Lol 😂🙏
I'll have to make that the next time I go to a gathering. Maybe the Anderson's will be there 😆
Watch out! They be hogging the mud flap!
@@thehungryhussey 😆
On point with the smoked queso dip!! You can dip a flip flop in it and it would taste great!! Just in time for football ! 😊👍👌
Heck yeah!
I made it for a Baseball BBQ for the team I help coach and it went in a hurry, everyone loved it.
It's so dang good!
Ive got it in the oven now with some chili and taco seasoning that my daughter made
Looks great! Did you think about smoking the cheese first?
I didn't, but probably wouldn't be bad thing to do!
Was it smoke flavored? Worth the effort to grill or just use crockpot?
Not a whole lot, gave it another little element.
I was wondering how the smoke flavor was also.
@seamansj , just a hint of it. I didn’t go heavy as cheese can take on a lot of smoke.
It's good straight from the smoker but let it rest a day or two then reheat in a crock pot. The smoke really comes out and is more mellow.
Bet that is pretty good!
Good video Matthew. ! You have come a long way my friend. Question what became of your big smoker / grill what ever it is called ? THANK you Frank from montana......
I never really gave it a name. Never came back around to it. Lol... Guess it's just "A Ole Hussey" lol
How would this turn out in an electric smoker? Any tips?
Would be the same setup I'd believe. Be careful on the pellets or chips as electric can over smoke easily. Same principle though.
I do a somewhat similar dip for football games... never fails
It's so dang good and easy!
So what part of the Carolina’s are you in?
Your knife skills rock. You should do a video on your preferred knife skills, some people may disagree, but whatever .
Haha... I'm not a trained chef and folks would probably rake me over the coals for sure!
@@thehungryhussey Probably right. Keyboard warriors suck.
Can you do some smoked baked beans? I have a family reunion and I want to blow everyone's minds with the best beans.
Hmmm... I like beans@!
Dang it Huss! Now I need to make me some of that Mud Flap!
You watched till the end I see! Thanks bud! It's SO good too!
Add a can of cream of mushroom soup. It takes the queso over the top.
Probably not a bad add!
Makin' me some Mud Flap 🤣 Thanks!!
Getcha some of that mud flap! haha
No, if you want smoked Queso, you need to check out Meat Church smoked queso, that stuff is 🔥🔥
😂 It’s pretty much the same stuff bro.

Hello my friend Enjoy the video👍
Thanks for coming!
Disposable pan?! That’s a family heirloom
My kids are really stoked about getting it!
Looks scrumptious. Did you say that it almost scalded the hair off your tongue? Hope not, don’t let that can opener get the best of you. 😜😂👍
Yes sir, I just got it off the smoker and dipped my chip into it. Whoa! It was hot!
@@thehungryhussey I’ll bet it was. 😜😜
I wonder what smoked buffalo chicken dip would taste?
Oh it would be bomb yo!
You should do it. Grill the chicken or smoke it before mixing it in with everything else! 😊
Mud flap. Good Groceries!
Haha... You watched till later! Thank you!
What kind of drink would you drink with this!
Gotta go with Cheerwine Zero!
Next time before the smoker put a 1/2 beer in it
Prob not a bad add at all. I just don't buy it though.
You're going to use the bottom of your apron for hot pads if you had to
