- Overview on my buddies 2011 6.7 Powerstroke. He's running the Maryland diesel performance s366 non vgt turbo and piping kit. he also has the absolute performance cold air intake and egr delete block off plates. stage 2 built trans and a few other cosmetic goodies. as you can see in the video I drove this truck myself and it absolutely rips compared to my personal 6.7 powerstroke. the non vgt turbo is a monster!

IMO the stock turbo sounds better. Love that fire breathing dragon sound when you get off the throttle.

Jacob 12 to 16 at least. Don’t know if I’ve heard a deleted alumaduty yet.
2011-2014 is when you can hear the wastegate “bark”. Had a deleted 2012 and that bark drew everybody’s attention lol.
GoodWeld 2011 had a smaller turbo. Not sure if it was as prominent in that year.
Ecoboost Jensen 2011-2014 had the same turbo. 2015-16 had the upgraded turbo.

If you cut the resonator out of the stock pipe it sounds like a 6.0 and 7.3 had a baby

Black truck looks nice. My old jobs work trucks were the 6.7 quad cab long beds and theyd tow a 28' trailer jampacked with welding equipment and steel no problem at all lol badass trucks for sure and im a chevy guy

Best thing on that truck is the American flag grill. Don’t care for the offset wheels and tires myself - but a lot of coin in that bad beast. Good for you. That is a sick growl. ...lol. I kept waiting for the rolling lights in the back 🚔

I got the same headlights! They are okay but I recommend SNGL LED headlights they are 12k white and light the road like a led bar. With these spyder headlights I use my led bar in the grille as high beams. I also have roack lights, and bed lights. I'm running 35 12.50 r20 with no lift and no spacers.
Not sure if he sold it but a person I know bought an identical truck to this one toward the beginning of 2021. Truck is badass

Had a guy in a 16 Cummins tell me he was punching 750 hp. I called bs and beat him in my 04 6.0 on extreme mode with my edge tuner. Power estimates are wack these days.

What happened with the trans? Haven't heard any issues with the ford 6R140.

Headlights look like the new GMC lights. Still best looking headlights I've seen on 11-16 SD.
Take a look at the Morimoto lights. I love mine on my 2011 F350.

@@juanmonsivais5632 I’ve had my lights installed for almost two years now. The passenger blinker stopped working but Morimoto sent me two new harnesses to correct the issue. Put the harness on and cleared the Body Control Module and the blinker began working again. So overall the lights are great still.
@@secretsquirrel572 I've heard they go out which is why I asked, how long before they went out? They're super nice, but $1.5k+ lights shouldn't be having this issue tbh
@@juanmonsivais5632 I agree. I believe the newest manufactured lights have the new harness keeping the BCM from storing the fault. So you’ll be good to go if you purchase.

Correction dpf delete pipe its available even on ebay and amazon for $220
Theyre still out there, just gotta look around. Best bet is to look at our friends up north 😎
1. Do not buy your delete kit off Amazon, just asking for issues. 2. They most certainly still make them. I just ordered mine for a 16 f350 and showed up at my door yesterday. $3200 for everything that I needed to make it run like diesel should. Tuner egr def 5” exhaust tuner pyro kit and air intake. Bought my tip separate from them.
Make your own. 5 inch exhaust tubing is sold at frickin Napa.

It should fit it’s the factory oem grille .. I have swapped grille from my 11 to my 14 and they worked so idk why it says it wouldn’t fit .. If it didn’t I’m sure it’s close enough you could fabricate it a little to make it work

Jerry Massey because the 11-16 6.7 PDS can’t be pushed no more than 600 HP. 17-19 rods can take 700-800 HP.
Dieselnm101 False. 11-14 were Gen1 with the first round of rod design. Gen 2 was 15-19, a more stout rod that can handle a bit more. The body itself just looks entirely more stout and seems to have more mass to them. Gen 3 which is 20 and up has an updated rod which now has a Steel piston. This guy doesn’t need to touch or change rods until he’s well above 600hp, in which he is not.
Lorenzo Puopolo Negative rods were replaced in 2017 along with added 100 torque. Your right ford calls their 2nd gen from 15-19, which is misleading the 15-16 only change was the turbo and added fuel from CP4 and PCM changes. I thought the same thing only because it was called the 2nd gen.

What gears are in that truck? How is spool up as opposed to the vgt? I just did a s366 swap on mine I have 40's with 3.55 gears and it is a turd. Doesn't spool for shit so im trying to get a comparison with a similar truck. I think I have tuning issues. Let me know how that thing spools please!
It’s laggy, it takes a full 2-3 seconds before it lites but once it does it pulls hard .. I’m not exactly sure on gearing.. what tunes are you running? He’s running ppei
Its takes a good 5 seconds for mine to come into boost. It has SPE tunes which are coming off today. I think they may have gave me bad tunes

Man beautiful trucks i have a 2016 platinum with 5 in pipe fully deleted next upgrade with be s&b intake and h&s intercooler silicone but how much is that set up nonvgt turbo
I have an 11 deleted 5 inch with the s&b I closed Intake with the H&S cold side pipe and I love it man .. he bought the truck with the turbo on it but I think it’s around 3k for the turbo and all the piping kit
@@abomb112 damn that's not expensive at all I'll think about it you know what i like about 11 f250 is the turbo it sounds way different than 15 and up when they are tuned and deleted you could hear the turbo whistle more
Yea spe sells a 15+ turbo retro kit fit with an upgraded wheel I wanna put on mine cause they rip pretty good with that .. plus I haul with mine for work so I don’t want a “racing” turbo I want something still stock but making better power

Okeedokee! Does anybody know what you need to do to make the 6.7 liter " bullet proof "... I keep hearing that it will blow up on you faster than a New year eve fireworks...I also heard that the lower end is the problem. On the 6.0, the top end is the problem. I kinda like the " Transformers " look on the '08. The '05 and such looks " dated"... Any help would be greatly appreciated...
The 6.7 is legit motor, it’s the 6.0 that has weak head studs and blows head gaskets and has oil cooler problems, the 6.4 has a few of its own issues as well which is why ford designed the 6.7 power stroke themselves
The 6.7 is the most reliable diesel in pickup trucks I can testify
Get rid of the EGR and DPF. 6.7L bulletproofing complete.
