Cheers bud. Tried colder plugs BR7EIX and it's been a world of hurt. I'll be installing rs7 spark plugs and see...

I got an S6, stage 4 with DS1 tune. Currently get the infamous cylinder 5 misfire. Plugs and coils are good. Hoping a revised tune does it for me. I also read it could be back pressure issues. New exhaust manifolds may be needed.

Thanks for video , just had a this randomly happen to me on a pull. Cylinder 5 and exact same was cold weather, flash quickly then go away. Did you ever figure out if it was the car just not being warm enough or was the gap exactly the the issue?

Thanks ! Honestly I think it's just cold weather and the tune from apr has these as a common issue. I have changed plugs and re gapped at aprs settings and it remains an issue only when it's cold outside 40 or lower. and if the car is not heated up like 170plus temps. Hope that helps that's just my experience so far after 4 years.

I'm having some issues with my 2011 Audi S5 4.2L V8 automatic 64k miles (my husband bought for me 2 months before he passed away unexpectedly so it's very special to me) I would absolutely hate to be forced to sell it due to the expense of repairs. So anyway I'd be very grateful for any help. I had a random misfire showing on scanner after check engine light came on so changed coils and spark plugs. The car is now showing a misfire on cylinder 7. I can clear the check engine light and every 2 or 3 days I'll have a check engine Iight again. It'll crank fine without a rough idle for a few days and then I have a rough idle on startup with the check engine light...any idea what I could check next? Can it be that the spark plug on 7 isn't gapped correctly? Thanks for any insight.

Looking at the gapping would be my first thought as well. Also the type of plug maybe. I would also look at response #3 here.
