Wondered where you'd gotten to Mr Ichiban so I decided to visit and educate myself on the spring rebuild, but I was blown-away by your hand-held customised drill-bit cum buffer and with a couple of turns it was as good as new which was amazing! I see you haven't lost your touch : ) Your stickers which must be over 10 years old and still decorate my suitcase which makes my case easy to spot on airport carousels, just returned from the Balearic Islands (Mallorca) and as my case approached me in Edinburgh airport on the carousel a guy further down the line pointed and shouted Badass!
I narrated "on any other sunday" a film by Hoxton Moto . He did an awesome job and it won best short film at the Portland Motorcycle Film Festival. check it out @hoxtonmoto youtube channel
Can't believe I've only just found this channel. Absolute gold mine of information. Bought a vintage hand drill, some assembly tape, learnt how to cut perfect circles in anything, threw out all the wrong loctite I'd be using and my power drills as well. Looking forward to making some real progress now. BTW, I could be wrong but I think you only sent Ant four stickers, no biggie ;-)
I was told by a another pro mechanic that they've started using CBD oil especially in the older type of dampers. It's supposed to make the ride much smoother, almost tranquil like.
I'm Sick and Tired of these TH-cam videos Where Everyone knows EVERYTHING..... That's Why I come Here to ICHIBAN.... This Guy is the most informative and Honest. He Puts All the other Motorcycle Channels to Shame...Even HARLEY DAVIDSON.....The one thing that has really helped me the most and I couldn't find any Information anywhere was on POLARITY GREASE.... My Volt Range has jumped up Considerably and the Power my Produces is just unbelievable....Take my Word on it.
Baddd Assss. Great video. I got a 79 cb750 restoration project. I am gonna try this out. The tiny funnel was the best workshop tool I have ever seen. THANKS
So glad to hear you are still making videos. I really miss your parodies. You give us all the opportunity to laugh, and that is a great gift. I hope you are well Brother. Have a merry Christmas.
Oh man, I coulda used this a month ago... I messed up so bad... at least I got the high schoolers down the road to fix mine for me. 😁 Glad to have ya back!
The best thing about your videos, is that youtube now recommends me 'legit' motorcycle repair videos. Thinking about the youtube algotrithm recognizing your videos as legit repair videos makes my day.
Great video, as per factory spec, rebuilt my bandit hagon shock using this method but used cod liver oil instead, man it's like new again, saved me a fortune, thanks Itchi, we're not worthy.
Bad ass! I need to do the shocks on my John Deere Cyclone. They too are the skookum black bodied, high pressure, nitrogen filled type. I was a little apprehensive until I saw this quick tutorial.
I have the cyclones 250 brother...the challenger. And YES...now I also can rebuild my shock absorbers as well.....I hope it will now handle better that it (“three wheeled shopping cart full of bowling balls going down hill”) It handles now..
You know, and I don't like to make a whole big thing about it or anything, but I Race the High Bank Turns of Daytona. It's always a great thrill getting the Cafe Racer off the trailer, gassed up with Premix and scooting around the track. Buy the way, and I think that most would agree, including Kenny "WFO" Roberts and Barry "Ladies Man" Sheene, Nickel Town Customs, known for their Fine Friction Enhanced Jell Assembly Lubricants, makes one of the best 2 Stroke Oils out there. It is specially formulated to mix with gas and reduces High Speed Seizure by 50%. My point though, and I think that I can speak for everyone, Itchy Bon Moto is the only Service Center that I trust to rebuild my racing shocks. They really know what their doing and take the time to do it right. They even wipe the bodies down and everything ! Itchy Bon gives me the confidence to hit the Bank Turns Wide Open. The Progressive Emulation and extra wide bottoming cushions prevent sudden bottoming jolts to maintain traction and superior control. I was giving it everything I have, and squeezing every horsepower out of my Power Jet Carbs, trying to get to Victory Circle. Hoping for the confetti filled accolades of my competitors, interviews with Dave Despain, and my clammy hands within millimeters of Mrs. Chesterfield's amazing heaving oversized Juggs, Although things didn't go my way, with several compound fractures from a spectacular 200 MPH seizure, I'll be giving it another go next year. Hopefully I'll be released from Halifax Memorial soon and towing the rig back to Winnetka. Thanks to Itchy Bon Moto and all the great people at Nickel Town Customs for their encouragement and great products.
@@IchibanMoto Hi Itchy. I'm laid up here at Halifax Memorial. Passing time looking through the Nickel Town Customs Performance Catalog and making plans for a few major mods for my Cafe Racer. Also, I saw the ad for Nickel Town Customs new and improved 2 Stroke Oil with a higher dilution ratio, synthetic tribological friction film displacement agents, and enhanced temperature compensated viscosity molecular structural chains to reduce wear upon initial startup and overall improved throttle response. With all of those improvements I wonder if Nickel Town Customs has figured out the secret ingredients in Castrol R or something. Should l plan on adding a tooth or two to the countershaft sprocket ? Once again, thanks for all the support this year. Having 5 out of 5 Itchy Bon Moto Stickers is another Bad Ass reason to lay it on the line and put the Cafe Racer in Victory Circle next year. - Sergio
