Great video! The breakdown of bottle capacity was perfect! As a Technical Support Representative for Wine Enthusiast, I can't tell how many times I explain bottle capacity vs various bottle sizes.
Something that will help your unit will to make sure it is full. The extra mass inside the unit will help it to maintain temp with less cycling on and off.
Hey there! I just bought my girlfriend this Wine Fridge for her birthday and was having a hard time finding reviews on it tbh. I just wanted to say that you did great job on this video & I hope you keep it up!!
The racks are a little tight so I do have to take out bottles to reach the ones in the back but that hasn't bothered me too much. What is a little annoying is that every once in a while there will be a loud dull cracking noise and then it will go quiet. So I would put it in a less prominent part of your house if you do get it
You mentioned you started out at 70F and went down to 48F in 20 minutes after plugging it in and turning it on? Is that how long most wine cellars take to chill wine?
For aging purposes, you can keep both reds and whites around 50 degrees. For drinking purposes you can either pop you white wine in the fridge for a few minutes or take out your red wine a few minutes early.
Hi Chris! So far I've really like my fridge. Like I commented in the video there is a slight noise when the compressor kicks on but usually it is very quiet/minimal vibrations and it has kept my wines within 5 degrees of what I set it at (50F).
@@TheSommNextDoor I think you have one. If not they're often a quarter price secondhand as people give up. The adapter bypasses the truly expensive part the little tanks.
Thanks!! Yeah I can see how some ppl would get annoyed but I usually forget that it's there. Maybe some day I'll invest in a nice Eurocave wine cabinet 😬
I finally got to see Tyler!! 😁😁 Also I like the name Milo or Stanley (Stan for short) for the fridge
Yea!! He made it onto the vlog! I like Stan. Stan the Fridge.
I'm coming late but I was thinking about Fred the Fridge :)
Thanks for the advices which will make me buy a 1 zone rather than 2 zones product.

Thank you!! Yes I would always recommend going up a size.

Good to know!! I've been doing a good job of filling it up and I haven't had an issues with the temp 👍
Heck, what I wanted to see how how you got it off that bottom cushion! I'm alone and I don't know what to do about this.

Thank you!!! I hope your gf enjoys the wine fridge!!
How are you liking this fridge now? Still recommend? Concerned about the way the wines are sideways and having to move them around

I would imagine it depends on the size of your wine cellar. But while shopping around I saw a few that it took less than half an hour to get cool.
how does it work dont reds and whites need to be kept at different temps?

"I never read the instructions first..." LOL 😂
It's so bad with IKEA furniture 😆
@@TheSommNextDoor Definitely!
i want a wine fridge!
It's been 5 months since your video. I'm considering a large 100+ bottle Wine Enthusiast fridge. What are your thoughts on the brand build quality?

Next step might be getting a coravin adapter so you can use it with a full size argon tank.
Coravins are amazing. Yes maybe that's my next splurge haha
