Great to see you back! Riesling has become by far the favorite white wine for me and my dining companion because it is beautifully aromatic and powerfully acidic, while unbeatably versatile in food pairing to our culinary style (Korean-Italian base with influences from other cuisines, moderate-high spiciness). Recently exploring the village-level wines of Kamptal, Austria and Nahe, Germany, we have been totally impressed by their minerality, concentration, and particular ability to pair with strong-flavored fish (yay, Omega-3 fish!). However, our house wines have been a Finger Lakes (2022) and Washington State Riesling (in 2021) that over-delievered on a QPR level--pretty comparable to the aforementioned two in broad categories of flavors, except for a shorter finish and lower fruit concentration at ~half the price. Plus, Riesling serves as our wine "Yin" to the "Yang" of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines for steaks!

I’ve been drinking Riesling from Mosel now that summer has began even in the far north (Finland).

The cracking is because it is defrosting! Obviously when you first got it there was minimal ice buildup however as more time goes by the buildup will increase, especially if you are opening the door more often! This is normal, so eventually the new one will do the same! People like you are the reason Costco discontinued this product because they were losing their marginal profit margin exchanging non defective product!

Cave Spring is best known for their Riesling. If you want good reds, Vineland Estates is probably the best producer, especially if you get a reserve wine.

Why are you taking so long to release the next video

I have the Bodega 176 bottle fridge and I love it. I got it off of Amazon for around $1500 and while it does vary about 4 degrees from what it is set, I am happy with it. Mine also does that cracking sound at times so I have to ask if you ever found out what causes the noise. I am currently looking at the Arctic King Premium 34-Bottle Wine Cooler, Glass Door, AWCA034ADB which is available at Walmart for $159 (yeah).

Kanonkop is one the best wines I have ever had. Once you open their Pinotage, you can’t stop drinking.

Just stumbled across your nice review but the wine's TJ's has now are very different and probably better. I have considerable experience with wines and have to say that maybe 30% of TJ's wines are not only good quality but bargains. Having said that I also have to say that if you shop around, especially at the California wineries you can find some excellent Cabernets, Zinfandels, and some amazing red blends at very good price. Some of the red blends are only sold at the winery and aren't advertised. Tobin James has one called "RED," that is very good and also a super bargain. The only decent wine shop we have out here in the desert is BevMo but they do have some bargains, especially on Cabs and Zins and red blends. Of course, the bottom line is buy what you like not what someone else tells you that you should like!

On the lower East side of Seneca L. there is excellent food @ Elf in the Oak - also nearby is Two Goats brewpub that serves ( & that's all they serve ) an incredible Beef on Weck with ALL locally sourced ingredients. ................. and they have the best ( IMO ) view from the east side of our largest lake. BEWARE !!! Crowd is often boisterous !!!

Concern for vintages is completely ovlerblown. Vintages mattered in the old days when vintners were at the mercy of Mother Nature for the quality of their wine, especially in European climates. Nowadays, not so much, thanks to modern winemaking technology. So much now is controlled, measured, adjusted, and blended with scientific precision. The majority of Bordeaux is for every day drinking and is consumed within a few years or sooner, even by the French. Vintage variation is for those in the wine trade and the occasional serious aficionado. Yes, it matters for the First Growths, etc., but readers of this channel will never buy those.

Don't buy you can't fix it when they break ivation products do not sell repair parts. my ivation wine cooler temperature control board is out, and out of warranty. Called ivation was told it is trash and buy another. So buy something else that care about their customers and the environment.
