I thought we could continue on with the requests and do something that's a little bit fun and it's still talking about massage and it's still demonstrating it but from a different angle to the usual.

Great video, Allan did a really great job.👏🏻😀 The video is not necessarily relaxing in the actual sense🤭, but it is definitely fun - and still also very informative. Of course, I've known your fantastic hand massage video for many years (even if I can't remember exactly since when), it's one of my all-time favorites.🥰 Unfortunately, I have only received one hand massage so far (more precisely, 5 or 6 small doses of 5 minutes each, combined with small psychological tasks). But that was still one of the best experiences I ever had. After that I watched a lot of videos and even read about it in books or other printable instructions on websites, which actually gave me ASMR moments for a while just by reading. But I don't know if I would be able to give someone else a hand massage. It's like my model building hobby: Knowing how something is done in theory doesn't mean you can do it practically.😜😉 However, I also have to admit that I simply don't have the opportunity (= no "willing victim") to try to give a massage. Well, maybe one fine day... Anyway, this video shows that even as an absolutely layman you can give a nice little hand massage. This is quite encouraging, thank you so much, Elaine - and Allan.👍🏻🤗😄🍀
I bet you'd surprise yourself if you put your knowledge into practice! I must admit that I have the opposite problem (in my head, not in reality) in that I look at something and think 'I could do that!'. Gymnastics, Olympic diving, elaborate cake decorating...I'll watch something to do with them and think that I could probably do ok if I had a go 😆 The reality is - not a chance! I wonder if that would be a future video, Elaine thinks she can do things just because she watched a video 🤣
@@homespabeautyWell, a psychotherapist once tried to teach us that almost anything is possible if we just want it and don't let ourselves be discouraged. His personal example: He goes shopping every two weeks. And when his shopping cart is full, he always asks for a volume discount at the checkout - but he doesn't get it. He then asks the manager for a volume discount - but he doesn't get it. But next time he tries again and again. Until one day it works...😶 Well, I have a different opinion, I think he asks so often that he no longer gets a discount, but a ban on the house!🤦🏻♂️ The idea that you can achieve anything with positive thinking is nice, but in my opinion the goals have to be realistic, only then does it make sense. However, I it's often the same with me: I see something and then believe that I can do it. In my hobby alone, the project box is full to the brim with projects that have been started and should be quick and easy. Whether I'll ever be able to finish any of this is completely unclear.🙄 The same thing happened in my vocational training (glass engraving, I've already mentioned that): I was never really good, but I still thought it could be something. However, for health reasons I was never able to work as an glas engraver; I did a few insignificant little things privately at home with completely inadequate tools. A few weeks ago I would have had the unique chance to buy real tools after over 30 years. But when I compare my old glasswork with that of today's apprentices at my old school, I know it will never work for me again - so I didn't buy that tools. The only thing I've ever been really good at is this little niche of model making that I specialize in - I taught myself that. But that's no use anymore because no one cares anymore, today everyone believes that they can do it themselves, even if they fail miserably...🤪
Whatever - I'll never know whether I could give a good hand massage or not (self-massage doesn't count here, it doesn't really work for me anyway because I lack the ambition).🙈
