Thank you for making this video on how to make home made glimmer mist. The way you have demonstrated it I find so easy to follow so I am going to try to make my own TFS!

I make my own as well and what I like about them is that you get what you want in the colours I mean plus the quantity lol. Great tutorial TFS :)

Well of course I have questions, don't I always??? LOL. If you had used the Pearl EX pink would you still have needed a reinker for color? It's hard to believe that only those couple of drops of Glossy Accents are enough to form a binder, amazing. OK I now have no excuses except to order some reinkers so I have some colors to choose from. Thanks Julie for doing the tutorial! Patti

Thank you, Julie! Do you know if makeup pigments, which are mica based would work? I have lots of those. Great video. : ) Joan

@nwlady1949 Hey Patti! you will get a pale color if you only use the colored pearl ex.. so if that is what you are going for then that will be fine.. I have used the pink pearl ex with watermelon alcohol ink and it gives it a nice color. I really like to use pearl mica or the macropearl pearl ex and then add the color with the re-inkers or alcohol inks! And yes.. it really does only take a few drops of glue.. or you can use hair spray..whichever you have on hand!

Great tutorial. I do have a question though. Where do you get mica powder at? Thanks for showing us how easy this is Julie.

Mica powder is available at Joanns or Michaels (can't remember where I just saw it). Somewhere around the oil paint section.

The mica you used, is that cosmetic grade mica? Cause I have a bunch of those and if I can use them for paining I'll be so happy. lol
