Also with the other forms it doesn’t repeat the manathirst. Like the baby Astalor deals 2 instead of 4 and the medium one doesn’t double the armor. It doesn’t make sense why out of the sudden the manathirst ability gets doubled by the battle cry
I still don't get why Reno is a one sided Twisting nether+++. It's ridiculous that you can clear the opponent's board and go face with your minions. (I play almost exclusively highlander, this isn't an aggro point of view)
I think his effect is a neccesary one in the game at this point, but it is pushed pretty hard. You could remove the "and limit it to one space for a turn" text and the card would still be incredibly powerful.

I doubt the highlander restriction will be enough to limit the combo potential of this card. *EDIT:* Oh, it's a Warrior-only card. Well, that's still incedibly dangerous and the above point still stands, but at least not every class will be able to abuse the new Brann. These cards are brilliant. I was thinking about getting back into hearthstone, but I don't want to play against these cards. It's great for self-control.
Fun addition to this deck: Zola. Use her to copy Boomboss and the opponent usually quits on the spot. I also added the viper to my deck because I got tired of losing to weapon-buff Rogue. Then I went up against a rogue and threw down the viper and Zola on the same turn and the rogue never played another weapon because he knew I had 2 vipers in hand so he quit.
I got legend for the first time ever this month a little less than a couple hours before the miniset was released, thank god I didn’t try to climb later.
I think the cowboy Reno is bad game design because it not only punishes your opponent for investing in their board, it also restricts them the next turn AND gives you free value every turn with basically no way to counter it. It would be balanced if it cost more and either erased ALL minions OR changed to allowing the opponent to keep a single one at random. Honestly I think it makes more sense for both plays to get stuck with a single minion until your next turn.

as long as Brann read " for the rest of the game " he broken at every mana cost. Neft him to 10 mana 0/0 he die when hit the board wont slove the problem
I think the effect could be balanced if it were just "All battlecries". Not just yours. It would still be better for you since you build your deck towards the effect, but the opponent also getting a "free" power boost counter-balances it. Maybe it would be a bit weak at that point, but that's where making it 5 mana or something would be appropriate.
My slow no dupe Priest has played this match twice and won both times by either taking his Brann before he plays it, or after. Either way he usually can't handle it because they don't want to play Prince, and they run out of cards way before I do.
Maybe because I play like a baboon but at diamond 2 I haven't been able to push forward with this idea of a deck. Barely above 50% wr. Don't misunderstand me, it's fun af and the high rolls are brutal.
If nothing else i like Reno purely because he's an answer to infinite value cards like Rheastrasza and locations like Yogg but he also just feels terrible to play against.
I think reno is such a weird card for me, honestly. The thing that I really dont like about him is the rotation of his hero power, because its discover + a small board clear + free 2 damage + the other effects. If im honest I dont think standard players would be nearly as angry at renos existence if there werent that many warlocks right now and the titan which prior to reno was a single card win condition, that always wins, if your opponent wants to fight for board, having an counter is in my opinion just pretty frustrating for some I guess. However against any other matchup hes mostly just twisting nether + his hero power and that is in no dimension more frustrating or worse design than "hey I only take half damage" paladin, with infinite shields and infinite lifesteal, I mean come on what is that bs 😂
Reno being run in non-highlander decks tells you all you need to know about how broken it is. I love playing slower decks, but a control deck without Reno is just inferior
From a relative outsider's perspective, I understand the frustrations with Reno, but not exactly why he's much worse than, say, Guff or Cariel other than his status as a neutral card. Wiping the board is strong, but not unusual for a card of that mana cost. The hero power seems very strong, but I dont play the game, so I dont know if its really the game-winner. Is it the restriction to one minion? I could see it for some classes, but not others.
So at 7 mana there are board clear but their symmetrical, his board clear is unique in it doesn’t trigger Deathrattles and the game never treats those minions as dead, it’s also a neutral option for classes that don’t get it, and then lastly it effectively clears for a second turn
I think astalor will likely get nerfed. It think they did it once already when og brann was in standard and Druid was doing similar things. Maybe less damage on the battle cry and more of it separated to a manathirst
Reno's bad because it doesn't destroy, it zaps EXCLUSIVLY enemies out of existence. So all mana and turns invested into building a board go in vain if you at least could get your deathrattles off it would be fair.
The fact that 56 damage is not enough to close a game, technically not even the 84 damage was enough, he needed the face attack... shows how fucked up constructed became
Man i really wanted to invest in HS again but now in asia server is just filled by bots, literally comeback, and climbed all the way to legend in 2 days with standard control warrior
Shoutout to you saying Brann is unplayable at 8 mana, in reality it's a 10 mana card with that effect. Also love how each time you Reno you just know it's impossible to lose, not an OP card according to you though :)))))

Bran needs to be like 8 mana. Getting that effect on turn 6 is nuts
I know its a youtube video, but I always try tapping on the cards to read them😂
This mini set is bonkers
My slow no dupe Priest has played this match twice and won both times by either taking his Brann before he plays it, or after. Either way he usually can't handle it because they don't want to play Prince, and they run out of cards way before I do.
I mean, Priest strategy has been "steal your opponent's better stuff" for the last 3, 4 years. 😆😆😆
Saw this card during the preview and said "yup this card is busted 6/5 best card ever printed"
This and the new Reno is just insanity in card design ._.
it's sad he skipped the first game😢, it was a masterpiece of a game.
I think astalor will likely get nerfed. It think they did it once already when og brann was in standard and Druid was doing similar things. Maybe less damage on the battle cry and more of it separated to a manathirst
I hope this stays in the game, because i don't play the game and its fun to watch
Getting hot fixed before the month is over or the game is truly dead
Love this deck, havent pulled bran in my last 10 games but all my opponents did, great fun
I only played the first few expansions of HS. This game looks soooooo wacky now
Reno's bad because it doesn't destroy, it zaps EXCLUSIVLY enemies out of existence. So all mana and turns invested into building a board go in vain if you at least could get your deathrattles off it would be fair.
I want to play this deck but I'm missing 4 legendaries and the trench stalker....(cries in free to play)
The fact that 56 damage is not enough to close a game, technically not even the 84 damage was enough, he needed the face attack... shows how fucked up constructed became
to answer your question, nagaling with misfire will do nothing
Boys, remember the time there was an outrage over Denathrious? It's broken? Those were better times.
no way mans opened the video with "minor, i barely know her"
Man i really wanted to invest in HS again but now in asia server is just filled by bots, literally comeback, and climbed all the way to legend in 2 days with standard control warrior
Shoutout to you saying Brann is unplayable at 8 mana, in reality it's a 10 mana card with that effect. Also love how each time you Reno you just know it's impossible to lose, not an OP card according to you though :)))))
You can play plagues to counter that
HOWDY MR RARREN

I have had some fun playing 200/200 elementals in standard :D
Therazane + Nathanos + Yodler = Too many stats to count.
Why have they done this to us....why Blizzard WHY!
I stopped playing hearthstone after the introduction of the hall of fame, don't remember the expansion. I'm currently having a stroke from how overpowered some of the cards are.
I casually quadruple the stats of all my minions with the help of the 5 mana spell and the 1 mana spell that doubles the stats of a taunt minions i got a spicy 164 health taunt minion
Seems ok
It's funny how you were just watching the old reviews, and you just said this new brann wasn't good. No hate i just think is funny. Love from Mexico ❤
Is it broken yes but nothing makes me more happier than a Trent Druid getting destroyed 😂
What is the music that starts at 19:29 ?
