I want to thank you for all of your videos. I always wanted to be a Long Haul Trucker, however it was not "seemly" for a female when I was growing up. My little brother runs the mail from Albuquerque to LA, to Pittsburgh and back to Albuquerque Sunday to Thursday...Now at 63, I can live the dream while I get my little RV rebuilt before hitting the road. I promise to stay out of the way. Love the videos.

Hi Riding Shot Gun! Since I have been working from home these past 3 weeks I have watched you everyday. Enjoy all the beautiful scenery out west and especially the mountains. I leaned all about the "Obama Clock" which gives me so much more respect for truckers and what they have to deal with especially timing! Take care and be safe out there! Cherie

Mike, our motorhome is a Renegade which uses the Freightliner Columbia cab & chassis. It has the 450hp/1550tq Mercedes diesel and the 12sp auto-shift manual. I use it in auto mode unless I'm going downhill, then I switch it to manual. It gives me much better control with the engine brake.

What you drove through there was the San Rafael Swell, a regional-scale dome that was uplifted by the movement of underground salt(!). Millions of years of erosion have cut canyons, leaving tilted mesas and buttes, and at the edge of the dome the sandstone razorbacks (flat irons) that you initially drove through. It's one of many stunning landscape features of Utah, as you know.

I hear Black Dragon grade on I-70(the one at 4:57) is a 10% grade with curves down to 35 MPH! Talk about scary and a reason why a lot of people wanna move to Utah and test their driving skills and mountain climbing skills out!!!!

5 seconds in: San Rafael Reef. Been there more than a few times. It is a fabulous place to explore with dozens of slot canyons. Ascending "Spotted Wolf Canyon" if I remember the name correctly.

Yes they work okay. But you have to stay on top of it if you're and real cold temps cuz it keeps shutting itself off it's a timed heat

crested up over a hill driving, rig in front about a block forward hits this bump, pitches him sideways to the left. he starts doing 360's in front of me. I start moving to the right, his rig starts coming right. I apply my brakes, instantly started jack knifing. had to hit the throttle to straighten out. tried pulling trailer brakes trailer started coming around on me. his rig rolled like left right left right. I would turn opposite him each time. he finally rolled over into a ditch.

You need to do more videos, would like to see more of start of trips and delivery at ends, from northern Minnesota, Ely area, hwy1 and 169 meet, end of the road into the BWCA wilderness area. Get lots of snow and ice on roads in the winter, Oct. to May. Know what you mean by idiot drivers, don't have mountains around here, but roads get as bad as some of your videos, and you get lots of idiots in the ditches cause they're driving like its dry pavement in the middle of summer. Did you get your seat squeak fixed?

I don't think he wants anything to do with the McWest as he'd rather stick with the real man's west where tall men roam, not the area of America where petite little midget dudes are the norm!!!!!!
