I do hotel 1 night a week. Sunday into Monday. I get to my drop destination on Saturday evening, sleep in the truck Saturday....check in to hotel Sunday morning. It works great!
I'll do 1 - 2 days a week in a hotel now that I have a ZoomRoom sleeper. Tried sleeping where the back seat used to be, I'm too big & long to get comfortable. Danb near a queen sized mattress in the ZoomRoom sleeper us DTV (24" TV Monitor) Good video, keep them coming
It's Better with a kenworth W900L and stepdeck. You can average between three and four dollars a mile. Sometimes more. And that's with a broker Not a direct customer. And You've got bed to sleep in and roof over your head at night attached to your truck. Is better money and a place to sleep at night if you do trucking rather than hot shot. I've looked on the loadboard hot shot loads just don't pay enough for me.
@@bustedknucklelogistics9404 you are correct, but I never get to worried about business related expenses. There were a few years I ended up owning the IRS over $20,000 per year. It’s was a bummer. So now I make sure I equalize it a hell of a lot better. This year I had to buy a new truck or I would have been screwed in taxes...
Negative. Hotel expenses are NOT a write off, unless your truck or trailer is being worked on and out of service. Only standard per diem rate applies for daily "on the road" expenditures.
I sleep every single night in a hotel. I GET A DEDUCTION ON MY TAXES FOR EVERY SINGLE NIGHT IN A HOTEL.
