You only need to remove 1 of the 3 screws on each side which is the one closest to the corner/edge. The other 2 screws are to hold the bracket in place.
Is that correct ?
Thank you , about to do it now
This is just the video I've been looking for!! I'm planning on changing my model 3 front bumper in to startech product and I was having a hard time finding a decent video how to remove model 3 bumper..! You're a lifesaver 👍👍👍
Right on broski, just finished wrapping my model 3. Must've watched this video a dozen times.
Good job keeping it simple and explaining things very well. You knew your audience (Tesla owners) lol.
This is incredibly helpful and very patiently illustrated. Thank you so much.
Thanks for the video. I later found out that you only need to remove 2 screws on both sides of the bumper(2:15 on the video). Just loosen the third farthest screw so that black plastic piece won't fall off.
Ted, you only need to remove the bolt closest to the wheel & loosen the other 2. All 3 bolts clamp the bumper in position but the one closest to the wheel goes though a hole in the bumper & has to be removed. The 2 bolts closer to the front of the car sit in recesses that once loose, allow the bumper to slip out.
Very Helpful video. Do you have video for reinstallation bumper ? Can I buy pre paint bumper from Tesla?
Can you do a vid of you Reinstalling it. Wondering how hard it is to reclip it back in and realigning it.
Great video, do the sensors need calibration if changing out the fascia? Thanks
Thank you for posting. It helped me so much. Can you also post how to remove headlights.
Yes please
Yes! There are NO TH-cam videos as of now on headlight removal in a model 3.

What is the name of the piece removed at 7:28? I torn this on a curb and need to replace it. Great video!
Thank you! Can you please make a video showing how to remove the rear bumper?
Thank you, I just wanted to loosen up the whole top.
Wrapping the Tesla ?????
Why not parking outside to get better lightning. The video is quite dark.
If you may, can you record again this video which is quite informative.
Note: Can you tell if you need to remove the bumper to replace the front headlight bulbs,
or can you replace the bulbs from inside the frunk?
removing the front bumper revealed these two side brackets that fell down. Any chance of a video on how to reinstall these brackets when replacing the bumper?
Did the fog light come out attached to the bumper? My fog light got knocked inside the bumper from a traffic cone
Thank you for the video and instructions. extremely helpful. so what happens to all the parking sensors that attach to the bumper? do you have to remove those before you take off the bumper?
Hi! at 8:45 I've showed to disconnect the wire harness; it connects to the parking sensors as well as the fog lights.
Can you do a video on headlight removal?
Are there supposed to be bolts in the black clips by the frunk (around 8:30)? They have a hole for a bolt and a nut behind in the fender, but mine didn't actually have one. Figure I can put it back together with a bolt if it is supposed to have one. Seems weird that it would be loose.
Great video
Thanks for the video. I just got hit by a tire tread, and it broke the black grill. Can the black grill be easily remove from the bumper once it is off?
You are the man.. This is exactly what I needed! Thanks.
I've always worked on my cars, but never removed a bumper cover. Since a minor fender-bender lead to replacement of my model 3 bumper cover, led to the bodyshop ill-fitting it, wanted to know if this is something someone like me (I'm hands-on, mechanically oriented) can do this and then re-fit properly. Do you need to replaced the attachment component on the small portion that attaches to the bumper? Plastic piece
No locations show on what to get removed.
I need to clip/glue the drivers side sensor near license plate. It popped loose leaving hole. If I drop the underside panel you show can I reach up and get to the sensor to snap back in the hole. What about peeling wheel well liner back after clip removal. Would that be better to get to the sensor.
I have the same question
Did you find out the answer? I’m in the same situation
I need to replace my model 3 bumper, if i get a pre painted one from Tesla, and do this, does the ultrasonic sensors need to be recalibrated or anything when i switch them over? Thanks.
Ditto I had the same question
On the passenger side of my car where the bumper cover meets the fender the alignment is slightly off. Do you think I can fix the alignment by loosening those 3 bolts?
Fucking awesome dude if I could give this video a million thumbs up I would 💯
when you reach behind the fabric liner in the wheel fender, are you able to feel the back of the fender???
Where is the homelink module located once the bumper is removed?
Great video buddy
thanks bro nice diy video
Awsome video! Thanks!
Thank you very much for this video. It has given me the confidence to do the job. Even though it was helpful, the video could have been so much better if you had a better light source to do it with. Thanks.
thx!! thats really useful!
Nice
very nice thinks
👍
:)),, be nice when someone comes up with an aftermarket front end,, only part of the car i dont like
There is one from unplugged performance. (costs $2k)
