    Move out and or break up! It's 20/20 hind sight. Tough love not always wanted but much needed.

    Excellent podcast! The Bible says don't be unequally yoked. For singles you need to know how this person is going to fit into your life. You should have five or six questions to start a conversation that are very important to you. If the answers are not what you want to hear, move on! You have about five minutes before they start lying to you. By that I mean if you offer opinions, they agree with you because they are trying to impress you. I personally made a long list of what I wanted in a spouse and how he was going to fit into my life. My first marriage was an absolute disaster. You don't just marry the person but their entire family. My list was a result of those circumstances. I actually found the man of my dreams. So you can find your dream person. Keep up these podcasts, Granger!

    I wish I had advice and guidance like this when I was younger. I wish I had had made Jesus my Lord & Savior sooner. I know this is the path I was meant to be on, and accept it. He knows the beginning to the end and I have to trust in that. I thank God for you & Amber having such a huge impact on my faith journey and I am so grateful. You are reaching & leading so many toward Jesus. God truly is using you as a vessel, and the impact of that is immeasurable. The sermon this past Sunday was so impactful and I am so grateful I got to be there. ❤️🙏💒✝️

    I know this happens quite a bit with the questions you receive, but it seemed like most of the ones today knew the answer to their questions as they were writing them. I guess they just needed to hear you say it out loud to them.

    Surprising how people allow themselves in these relationships where they get nothing out of it for themselves. Very dangerous to be with a man who doesn't or can't live your child.

      It's not so much that. There are LOTS of people who are very good at pretending to be someone they are not, or very good at "becoming" what the other person is looking for at the very beginning, only to show their true colors later on. Sometimes it's also psychological issues.
      Take my word for it, no one WANTS to be in that situation, but usually by the time they realize what's happening, it's too late.

    • @bowed305
      @bowed305 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WTFarmGirl And some people want someone to be with so bad that they'll do their best to ignore obvious faults that others see so they can have a person. That's why I appreciate it so much when members of the Smith family talk about the importance being content in your singleness before starting to pursue a relationship.

    That last letter was my life. I married a man that never understood my passion for training horses and and we always fought over me having horses. He would tell me that as a child we talked like a child but when we grew up we put away childish things. I broke up with him several times, but I was so in love with him that I couldn't let go.
    He tried to totally control me and he would put me down on everything did. We were together for 15 1/2 years before I couldn't take it anymore. It took almost 2 years to get divorced and I was afraid of him. He did assault me when we broke up. That was the hardest 17 years I ever went through. Hearing her story I was thinking break up because I knew the pain that she would go through if she married him.
    I have not been serious about dating since the divorce the end of 1989 because of fear that it would happen again.

    Ecclesiastes is arguably the most underrated book in the Bible. Yes, you get identity in Christ, but when you ask “what is the meaning of life,” you need to go to Ecclesiastes. It lays it out specifically. “Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” That’s Ecclesiastes chapter 12 verse 13. Not the whole verse, but it lays out the meaning of life, the reason we exist. So, our identity is in Christ, and our purpose is to fear and obey Him.
    Seriously, if you haven’t read Ecclesiastes, you need to. Well, if you’re Christian. If you ain’t Christian, it probably won’t make a lick of sense lol.

    I do not see the Holy Spirit in me but a lot of others do. I have accepted Jesus as my Lord & Savior. I know the Holy Bible is Very True. I know this earth is not my home. And yes God once spoke directly to me. But for some reason I just do not see the Holy Spirit in myself.

      One more thing when my late wife was on life support And I knew God was going to heal her ( wether a complete healing in Heaven or a partial healing ❤️‍🩹 down here) just did not know where. He spoke to me at work a month after she passed on. He said He could not call me home until my assigned tasks was done. I asked Him what they was and He told me I’d know in due time
