Before we got married my husband asked my father for my hand. Joe told my dad that he didn’t know if he could afford to marry me. My dad said if he waited till he could afford to marry me we will never get married. 🤣. We’ve been married 47 years. You don’t always get what you want in a marriage but God gives you what you need. God has been our rock threw many things.

My husbands name is Steve, and so is his dad. But my husband is not a jr, they have different middle names. Well when my husband was little, like 3 years old, his grandpa nicknamed him Skeeter. And it stuck with him his entire life. He's 41 and still called Skeeter by everyone. I had people asking me what his real name is because they only knew Skeeter lol

Just getting off work (Midnights) but this is great for the drive home!!
When “life happens”, I always see it as God has put me in that situation for a reason I don’t understand. My absolute worst life events have let me see how strong God made me. That strength still lets me see how He is in control of my life. I won’t deny that I have had moments when I did something my way and realized quickly that I was not listening to Him.

My grandfather was 47 when my youngest aunt was born, she is 3yrs older than me. He did it, but you could tell he was worn out, he had kids at home from 1947-1988.

I'm that type of person that "jokes" with strangers, usually if they don't get it the first time I cut the joking off right away because I don't want to get into the next stage. If the person does not get the jest the first time then it is more than likely to get into the situation you talked about where it is uncomfortable. It's not an intelligence thing it is an intellectual thing, many people are on the same intelligence level but their intellectual level is totally different.
This the first time I stopped and listened to one of your pod cast and love it I'm from Tahlequah Oklahoma, got your TH-cam from Arms Family Homestead. As I was listening Bernie quoted a verse from James I would like to share Philippians 4: 4-5 Rejoice into he Lord always. I will say it again. Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident you all. The Lord is near. Another verse I live by is James 4:9-10 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and you joy to gloom, Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

This was m y first time watching your podcast (sorry....I didn't realize you had your own). I really enjoyed it! And yes... definitely have Bernie back. I've been watching The Smith's channel for several months! It's so enjoyable! I've lived most of my life in Louisville, Kentucky. Have you ever played here? If not, I think you would find Louisville enjoyable! If you do make to Louisville, I hope I'm lucky enough to see you play in person. Congrats on your coming baby boy! To continue the conversation about what else you might consider as a career...... I totally agree you are a wonderful public speaker. But what if there was no music, no YeeYee? I believe you majored in history... did you ever consider pursuing that field as a teacher, professor, researcher or author? What was the backup plan? There’s another field you are very well versed in, religion. Another way to be a public speaker could be as a .....yes I’m gonna say it and Yee Yee nation might go crazy.... a preacher!!!!
Change of subject: how do you, Parker, Tyler, Bernie have 48 hour days? Idk how y’all fit in so much Bible Study, prayer time, journaling, reading other books of faith and self development.... it makes me so tired thinking about it!!!
And if we don't have the support of our friends, we want to be successful, HOW do we have to have the support of our friends, right? I don't have a stand ❤😂😢

As related to athletic greens. Although everyone of your claims may be true; as a gardener for over 20 years, I will claim that live plants in season are far better for bio-availability of nutrients, than any supplement, because of phytotoxins, anthrocyanins, and other chemicals/nutrients that can only be obtained from vegetables and fruits, grown in perfect soil, in season, with no pesticied or herbicides that are synthetic in nature.
Go with fresh greens if possible please. Wild edibles supplemented if you want the optimum nutrition! Check out Sergei Botenko, and also, Adam on Learn Your Land, if you want invaluable informaton about plants and fungus/mushrooms.
My main concern is what Sergei Botenko references in relation to the alkyloids in plants. Even if you eat Kale smoothies everyday, eventually the seasonal alykloids of the plant may build up in your liver negating any potential of health benefits. Eating a huge variety in moderation is better than having a strict diet is my belief, not that any one plant can cure everything.
But I can't help that easily, yee yee and I'm also sad, I'm grateful Amienn, a new grandson is coming again, amen, thank you so much ❤😂😢

I live with the situation everyday my daughter has 5 pregnancies 1 miscarrage. The other 4 babies were good birth's.1 was given up at birth and then remaining 3 were taken away. She never tried to get them back. Those were my grandchildren. I only know where to find 1 and that was given up at birth. She is with a friend of mine.
The problem lies in the fact that I have struggled with the anger of her losing my grandchildren.

Taking the easy road is I believe the evil. Following Jesus is that narrow road but the best. That is faith that the Lord will carry you through.

Use your resources. I did that when a s10 I had broke down. Couldn’t afford to fix it so sold it bought a bike and trailer and that is how I got around along with the metro system for a year.
