A pleasurable trip, which will be one to remember always especially during this time when a crisis is prevailing across the world. Lockdown means surfacing the net, which eventually results in a person endingup watching cab ride videos, especially ones like yours which are hard to put down, as they are unique in nature. 😊😊😊
I want to thank you very much for the train video, I enjoyed viewing the towns, people and countryside along the way. This is my only form of travel now, in order to view other countries; as I am 67-years old with health problems, and can no longer travel.
One way to escape the lock down just sit back and take a trip here, well worth the time most enjoyable ,thank you for sharing, stay safe with kindest regards .
We did a bicycle tour around the lake last May. Konstanz-Stein am Rhein, German north shore including Friedrichshafen, Bregenz, one night in Arbon. I see some of the bike paths we pedaled on in the video. Thanks for posting.
Thank you just what I needed, A nice train ride with all that is going on in the World right now, Stay safe my friend and all my best to you and yours.
So beautiful along the sea. Rorschach Hafen is a really nice station it seems :) I wouldn't mind living there with the view of the sea. That new Stadler high speed train looks really nice
Wonderful stuff once again. It was interesting to see the Stanstead Express unit destined for our country stabled at Oberaach. Hope you are keeping safe and well during these testing times. Best wishes as always.👍🏼
Your video has been a great consolation now, with everyone eagerly looking for a vaccine that was desperately needed at this time and wishing the Corona Virus 19 to end completely. I hope that the Corona Virus 19 will disappear as soon as possible, and at the same time, I sincerely hope that your channel will grow well day after day and become a successful channel
Yet another piece of the system on video thank you. The overhead wire supports appear different to the rest of the system, simple pair of vertical column and a cross beam. Obviously works perfectly but why different? (original builder design not replaced, the track having few curves, request by Stadler for train testing, whatever?)
You may mean what you say, but it is very difficult to understand what you're saying in the first place. "but S7 does not stop all station from Romanshorn to weinfelden". Is that a question? Is it a statement? If it is a question, then Zugfreak gave you the answer. Which, quite frankly, is clear as day, so your follow-up question makes absolutely no sense. If it is a statement, then yes, thank you, we can see that.
What a delightful route, as you say, and the first part seamlessly integrates with a largely pedestrianised waterfront - the whole section between Rorschach and Romanshorn appears to have simplified signalling, presumably in the expectation that nothing larger than a GTW will run during passenger hours - Horn is particularly intriguing - why right-hand running and why the yellow arrow instead of a green signal? Thanks for this \m/
There is no such a thing as simplified signalling. The orange arrow only indicates that the next signal shows a driving aspect of at least 40km/h, it's a helping tool for certain situations (like here, where the home signal is a bit further away) and never replaces a signal.
Letzte Frage .
Very nice. The trip on the lake line is really nice. And those GTW's seem to be a quite adequate rolling stock for that kind of missions (in fact t the railcars look a little bit like beefed up modern trams). By the way, is it usual for trains coming out of Stadler's Erlen factory doing short 'brake in' test runs ? I tought about that after seeing that one at Arbon. And about Saurer, I think they also had some work done on railway engines, maybe not pn their own, but in cooperation with italian manufacturer OM
What they do there aren't just brake ins, but extensive test runs with tests of all systems, safeties etc., then the vehicle gets approved for service and delivered.
@@RailwayEmotions So it's the whole Certification process. It's not different from what a Stadler competitor does, I'm speaking of CAF, but in their case they have a full H high speed route to do it near Zaragoza (it´s a line that still doesn´t has many traffic. As it's in standard gauge, some of those tests can be prefomed. Sometime ago there were some new EMU's for UK 'Nrthern franchise' parked on an intermediate station (they can also perform tests there because the trains in question are 25 Kv AC, the same voltage used on the electrification of that line)
Lovely video as usual! Enjoyed every minute of it. Liked the fact that you included the shunting at the end of the journey. Just one question - the platforms on the Rorschach - Romanshorn section seemed quite short. And at Horn, you crossed a train (which had 3 EMUs connected together), which was not fitting on the platform. What happens in such cases?
Since only shorter trains stop there with much less traffic as compared to the big cities, the platforms are kept short. The train with 3 EMUs has the last one locked, it is being ferried to Rorschach, where the units will be uncoupled and used further.
Wow .
This is wayyy better than any Netflix/series. Calm and relaxing 😇😌

Super cool now that we are stuck at home. Thanks !
brilliant video, really enjoyed watching this one... thank you so much

We've seen it many times before on my videos, it's one of the two systems in use today and nothing extraordinary, just the older system.
