Just what I was looking for and very clearly explained. I like watching Skooled Zone myself but I was struggling with his WiFi glitch explanation to be honest. This did the trick and you got a new subscriber! :)
Others rush thru their tutorials but you didn't. You actually explain the "why's" of how this glitch works. Great job. On this play through, no mods. And this is a BIG help. Thanks a million!
It worked today, 6-30-23, on PS4 with current patch. Thank you so much for this video. Before today we must have missed the "look THROUGH the wire when making initial wire glitch connections' part, and the " 'WIRE: generator to pylon...." selection part. The A to B part was super too. Many many thanks for demystifying this!
OH MAN! I spent about 2-3 hours today trying to learn how to light up my settlement the "old fashioned way" and I was getting super worked up, trying to figure out how to show the least amount of wires. This helped so much!
The ONLY video that was helpful in explaining this glitch. Thank you sooooo much! You went above and beyond explaining the different ways of powering things.
Today is 23/08/23 and I xan confirm this still works on xbox 1, thanks for the very detailed explanation. Took a lil flooding around but got it in the end!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I've watched countless videos on how to do this, but your video is the one that explains the process the best for me! I always share one whenever someone asks how to use the wifi glitch, too!
This was such a helpful explanation of the wifi 'glitch'!! THANK YOU!!! I spent many hours watching Schoolzone's and several other peoples' videos about it (they were ALL helpful, and kudos to them all for figuring this out and passing it on!) but your explanation of how and why to use the first switch as what is essentially the actual 'wifi router' just seemed to make everything fall into place for me. Oh, and the tip about linking in the terminal!?!! WOW!! The possibilities that opens up are mind-blowing!!! 😃
First of thank you!! Watched a few other vids who explained this poorly and i just couldn't get it to work. Found your vid and now i have to rewire all my settlements wireless lol.
While the first "look thru the wire to the power source" does work, it's much easier to highlight the wire very near the connection point on the source to do the same thing (get the sparking connection sound without actually getting the wire connect animation. Note this is also how to initiate the original wiring glitch that eliminates wires being blocked by other objects and the wire length limitation. Note that line of sight / looking thru the wire is still needed for the final object, but not having to sight the original power object thru the wire simplifies the setup you need to efficiently perform the glitch. VERY good point about never using a generator as the original power source. This also allows you to wifi that control switch and place it just about anywhere (but again, don't wifi connect this (or other) control switch directly to a generator that you hope to remove or even move very far.
Finally thank you, you're the first one out of several vids that actually showed the proper way to do this. I didn't even have to watch the whole thing before it worked.
Finally! Its 2024, I’ve just picked up the game (like a lot of people probably after the tv series) and been watching “Schooled” but for the life of me I just couldn’t get this glitch to work, and I’m an electrician!😂 I hate cables showing in my builds so thank you thank you thank you. New subscriber!👍
Im doing this in 2023 and the wire glitch works, but it wont let me store it without completely undoing everything. Im guessing it’s been partially patched
Very clear instructions. But I tried it in 2023 on Xbox, and seems to be patched. When you look through the wire from the powered wall switch, instead of being invisible, you just get a new sparkling wire that’s red until you come near a conduit, device, light, and makes new attachment from powered switch. So cant make WiFi cuz can’t engage the wire glitch. Darn.
@@baileygemma3 it’s no longer necessary. Bethesda patched this long ago and all you have to do is to click on a wire than cancel and it will take the new path.
@Kayaz48 I've been doing the method in the video and it works for me, so with your method are you getting the WiFi aspect now? BTW thanks for the reply ☺️
Is there a distance limit? - I'm finding WiFi power fails at Starlight after say 1-3 in game days - 100size Generator is at top of tall staired building powering 2x Water Purifiers in water in middle of base but when I go to Far Harbour and back all my circuits are off - seems ok at other settlements
I know you probably don't play fallout 4 anymore but I've just watched your video onc fallout electricity and i wish you would make one on advanced options such as the conduit logic gateways. Then perhaps do a house build with expert level using the terminal, delays in switches, light boxes and the conduit logic gates. Perhaps you can showcase other electronic and electrical items you can build in a house build such as say a house with a keypad id entry and various traps or rooms and devices in this rooms that you wish to power or unpower in different ways e.g. with the pressure plate CUTTING power on the floor leading to an entry or advanced security systems with turrets/cameras/trip floors. I'm sure you can think of other weird and interesting ways to play with electricity and tricky electrical systems in fallout 4. Please?
Bro,bro,bro.. when makinng a video about wire glitches, im going to teach you something that will make it more efficient. Just get exactly to the point. Only your mother likes to hear you talk and likes your stories. Just for once if one of these kids would just make a video and get to the point . Im now 1:42 into the video and have absolutly no clue how to perform a wire glitch. Why? Because you want to talk about other things. All you need to show is generator the thing you want power to and then thats it. Thats all you need to explain. Then after that if you want to talk , talk all you like. Infact after that fill the video with ads. You and school zone ... Blah blah.
Why didn't you just say "get to the point"? You're criticizing someone for talking too much but you, yourself, used a whole paragraph to make a simple statement! Lmao. You're about 5 steps behind.
I so agree. Last wire glitch video took almost 8 minutes before he actually got to the instructions. I would really appreciate it if TH-cam video makers used a TL; DR feature
I don't know what blows my mind more... the fact that this still works or the fact that I'm just now finding out about it.
Just what I was looking for and very clearly explained.

Same. I loved skooled but sometimes I don’t grasp what he’s teaching clearly. Wi-Fi glitch is one of those moments.

Finally! I couldn't do this no matter what I tried, I thought it was patched. But the clearest instructions in your video did the magic! Thank you!
Agreed!
I love the A to B example .. I never thought of that .. I like most thought it didn’t matter! Thanks I learned about that jumping thing the hard way
First of thank you!! Watched a few other vids who explained this poorly and i just couldn't get it to work. Found your vid and now i have to rewire all my settlements wireless lol.
Did it work for you? I can’t get it to work on Xbox in 2023
@@Kayaz48 yes. Make sure youre pointing thru the wire at the connector. Its a little tricky at first.

Thank you for making this video and the explanation so clear! You are the only one made it so easy to understand. I love the terminal idea also.
Thank you for the wonderful video.
Imitate like a video
I was able to do it.
I'm really thankful to you.
Can you wifi glitch a pressure plate on both sides of a powered door? Im dying to make a handsfree powered door and i know im not the first
awesome. Thank you for so clearly explaining it.
This is easier to understand than SkooledZone hahaha thanks alot now I know how

I’ve tried it. And it’s not working. My guess is I have the unofficial patch mod. That may be the reason why.
Thank you so much ❤
Thank You.

How did u get the plants to be so beautiful?
