    Nice job, especially for a first build. Well done! Don't worry about the debug code. Doesn't mean there is an issue or an error.

    The thing with the chassis fans (I have built 3 pcs for myself, two of which are in a dual tower dual monitor setup) you experienced here is something I can relate to, and I'm glad that you're changing them in the future. There's nothing wrong with using different fans if the purpose is to have something there to keep the build cool until something better comes along, as it shows your future proofing skills (the idea of DIY builds is future proof whatever you can).
    Regarding the storage, the only recommendations I have there is if you do get a 2nd NVMe SSD drive for the other slot on that motherboard you'll want to invest in a heat sink along with it. That, and get the 2nd storage drive (preferably another NVMe M.2 SSD) - by having more than one storage drive, you'll have less to reinstall should the lone drive get corrupt (although that is rare it does happen).
    Great job with your build!

    • @threeoneohh
      @threeoneohh  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I appreciate all the info and will keep it all in mind. I do want to add additional storage and change the fans. I want to future proof my build as much as I can so I can use it for years to come. Thanks for watching!

  • @craig71686

    Nice build and video. Only thing to keep in mind is your SSD is a PCI express 3.0 drive and you installed it in the PCI Express 4.0 slot. The top slot with the B550 chipset is always PCE Express 4.0. So, it would probably be best to put your SSD in the bottom slot since it is a PCI Express 3.0 drive. That way if you get a PCI Express 4.0 drive in the future, you can install it in the top slot to get the full performance.

    • @threeoneohh

      There's so much more to learn, I'll have to keep this in mind. Probably should've read more of the manual lol. Thanks for the tip!

    Nice build for ur first time. I hope to do my build soon.
    I bought a pre-built that has a Ryzen 3600x & Tuff Gaming 3060ti OC (early 2021).
    I ended up accumulating a Ryzen 5800X, Rog Strix B550 (mini itx), DDr4 4000 cl18 (corsair), 700w PSU (mini itx) and Thermaltake's Tower 100 so I can do a build and start a YT channel. I'm just going to use the 3060ti and probably buy another gpu for the prebuilt so I can use it for games.

    Having built a couple computers and watched many of Jay's and Linus' videos. I would almost always plug the cables into the motherboard first. Then put in the GPU with it's power cables. Then as I go toward the PSU cable manage it ending with getting the cables plugged in and getting the PSU in the final position.
    Also most systems can take a min on first boot while it figures out life. All in all, not to bad for a first time.

    • @threeoneohh
      @threeoneohh  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That makes sense and it sounds like it would make building a PC much easier! I doubt I’ll build another one anytime soon, but I’ll keep this in mind if I ever upgrade or get new parts for my build!

    • @Melivilth
      @Melivilth 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@threeoneohh it definitely gets easier now that you have done it once. Best thing to do is try to remember what issues or difficulties you had with this build. Then think about if certain parts would be easier if you did them in a different order. Some placements of the power connecters are in very hard places to get into with the board installed on some cases, or the annoying front panel io connecters that you have to do one lead at a time because case and mb manufacturers can't agree on a standard layout. My first build I didn't realize the front panel io thing until after I had everything else installed and realized the case power button didn't work because I hadn't connected it yet.
      It was a couple years before I built another computer after the first. The second one was much easier because of what I learned with the first. Along with some research on the parts that I found to be hard or like cable management didn't quite like how it turned out.

    • @codygrinnell8676
      @codygrinnell8676 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always plug them into the psu 1st... then plug the cables into the motherboard... The last things I install is the AIO ( same could be said for Radiators for a custom loop.. ) but to everyone their own. And I always plug in both the cpu cables... If you plan to overclock your cpu a little but, it's recommended

    aaaamazing build, the only thing that i would say as a owner of a h510 is to take the frontal glass panel off or replace with a acrylic one with holes, you are going to get wayyyyy better temps as you have an AIO leaving the only intake as the side panel holes is not something recomended

    Great video. However, if you can. I suggest flip the tubing / radiator down so as not to fill your pump with air. There are also videos about proper AIO installation. About your case, I'm not sure if it will give your Ryzen 9 5900X sufficient cooling. Thanks for sharing your build. I just built mine about a month ago.

      @threeoneohh  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @Melivilth

      @@threeoneohh the important part is don't have the pump be the highest part of the loop. You want the inevitable air bubbles to be away from the pump, literally anywhere else in the loop is best.

    • @LadyWolvie82
      @LadyWolvie82 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OP - Several days late but a 240mm/280mm AIO *is* sufficient for the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X. If the CPU is the 12th Gen family by Intel or the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7000 series then you bring up a great point with the CPU Cooler.
      Edit: for mounting the AIO, the most important thing there is that the top of the radiator is above the CPU Cooler block, regardless of its orientation.
