Some years back a book called 'Hard Bastards' was published, then a year or so later you got 'Scottish Hard Bastards' by the same people. As sequels of this sort attempt to ratchet up the promise of action I'm assuming the prefix 'Scottish' is meant to be taken as better i:e worse.
I remember seeing the Door Kicking episode. That challenge was won by a fireman and a Marine, who had both been trained in the best way to break down doors. After that, a sledgehammer based challenge was won by a builder, the only contestant with experience of that tool.
