Saw him in a little backwoods bar in Orlando, Fl. He shook the rafters! For some reason his music sounds naughty! I’m here for every note! lol. Have a great week!
George has always been amazing since the 70’s. I feel MTV and his Videos turned on a whole New generation onto Him! Nobody like him he’s one of a kind!
Yes!!! That's a pure jam session! Helping him out with the link! th-cam.com/video/--AvCsh48bk/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUeMSBib3VyYm9uIDEgc2NvdGNoIDEgYmVlciBsaXZl
During my time at Colorado State Lonesome George played at a bar called Ft. Ram (because CSU Rams). The stage was about 2 feet high on the dance floor. We were all packed in chests to backs, balls to butts. I thought for sure a fight was going to break out. Great show! 🤘
George was so cool.. awesome raspy vocals & guitar (not quite the equal of SRV, but still.. pretty fantastic) I believe he started out fairly young... appreciate your reaction!
Hank Carter became a regular. For the first few years, it was just Blough, Simon & Thorogood, they touted themselves as the world's first three-man quartet because of the high energy displayed...
You should listen to the original singer for the song (One Bourbon , One Scotch ,One Beer ) Amos Milburn 1953 and his other song called ( Bad Bad Whiskey )

Oooh, yeah. A shot glass full of blues-rock bravado and awesomeness. (Btw, nothing wrong with needing alone time; matter of fact, it's a Cancer's birthright, Shawn. Think about that crab naturally reverting into it's shell/home.)
I hate to admit it but the fist time I heard the song, I thought he was talking about his actual granddad instead of another alcohol lol I also didn't understand the line about preferring to be by himself when he drinks alone.

😍😍😍 Try "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer", "Move It On Over" and "Who Do You Love?".

That was awesome!!..
"Who Do You Love" kind of rounds out George's philosophy.
Jammin' song! Looking at his face, you wouldn't think that voice would come from it :) Old Grandad, that's some serious rot gut whiskey!
My favorite George Thorogood song!! Thank you!
Great in concert

I drink alone! Who needs anythng else when your listening to music. Apparently, you're only an alcoholic if you drink more than your doctor.
No need to decipher the lyrics here!
Life is the leading cause of death, might as well, drink till ya stink!
He told the world he was an alcoholic 😂
Nothing wrong with being except if you think too much
