I head to a Fast & Furious style Underground car park meet in Akihabara Tokyo. This car meet was held in the UDX car park by Tokyo Auto Collection. Normally UDX is famous for Itasha car meets. But this time it had more a European vibe.

Glad you noticed as well. Sam, easiest way to tell a ralliart from an evo is the gastank lid. Evo are square.

I dont know why but my favorite part of all your videos is when you yell "OH MY GAWD" in the ending scenes.
No that pipe on the 2JZ swapped mercedez is for the recirculation valve. The idea being to relieve pressure in the intake manifold once the throttle closes and "recirculating" the air back into the intake. This keeps the pressure from going back into the compressor outlet side of the turbo which can cause damage to the compressor wheel. It's not necessary to recirculate this air back into the intake and if this air just vents into the atmosphere then the valve would be known as a blow-off valve. They recirculate it for emissions purposes or to not have a blow off valve noise. But it definitely does not help spool the turbo in any way lol.

Love the vids. I actually came across your channel by searching BMW meets in Tokyo. Loved your videos then subbed. Now I seem my Beemers. I hope to come back to Tokyo later this year and get some car action with some meets. I had a 2003 E39 530i, great car but crashed it. Now got a 2000 E39 540i. Thing just flies especially with the Steptronic had it up to 180 in 4th gear! Thanks for the great videos and please post more Beemer and Euro car stuff!

Toyota MR2 Mark 2 Turbos indeed need much more attention
The SW20 is the most well known and most often seen MR2, imo the AW11 first gen is the better car but that's not the typical opinion. I would love to see more people into that car because it's a mid engine AE86 basically

Silver BMW was a e34 m5 . That e30 was a M3 not a standard version. I've owned more then 10 e30 ,e36 even m3 .e39 etc. Also have many Japanese performance vehicle's
The truck is called "jeepnay" it exist in the Philippines as a bus but a jeep.

RWB don’t make kits for 991s they only makem for older Porsches not to mention 991s runs 325 in the rears so a widebody would be kinda redundant. Widebody or putting fender flares is more of a TJ Hunt move lol.
Luckily a lot of the Japanese RWB cars get the performance mod to support the wide body. And get driven hard at Idlers!

Yeah its the SW20 MR2. The JDM ones came with the 3SGTE turbo motor, check out BUILT on youtube, he made a custom widebody for his from scratch in his driveway, looks sick!
