Sunbreakers who try to argue that they're not OP by comparing themselves to gunslingers, don't even go there. Your whole class is an upgraded version of gunslinger the hammer has the same killing capabilities as the golden gun except you get: - More than just 3 shots. - Tracking on your hammers. - Overshields which a golden gun cannot kill in one. - Even your melee does the same sort of thing as ours BUT you don't have to actually aim and throw it! - And as a whole, you got a better set of grenades, all bar the trip mine. You are OP and are definitely in need of a nerf or 2!
They also get a 50% damage reduction and heal on kills. We get a crappy melee, mediocre grenades, no damage reduction, we have to actually aim our super, no healing buff, no damage buff, and we're limited to 3 shots.
+James Thompson Titans Sunbreaker dont need a buff at all. The only good thing about them is the super. The grenades on sunbreaker, shit. Perks? Mediocre at best. The base of sunbreaker is shit everything is horrible about them which is what makes the super so great. because it is the only good thing about the sunbreaker.
Video just randomly popped up on my recommended and mannn do I miss the early early days of Destiny 1. When I started playing the game, I didn't even know wtf the exotic category was, so when I saw some dude running around with TLW I was like "oh man what is that handcannon?... why is the box yellow??" lol. There was definitely a great air of mystery to the game back then. Nowdays, it feels like, although the devs do keep stuff from us, there's also a lot more that's shown off in trailers, and while I understand that that might be part of some kind of marketing strategy, I do feel like it does away with some of the mystery of the game. Datamining is also pretty heavy in D2. I do tend to not watch every trailer they put out and I sure as hell try to stay away from datamined stuff, but unfortunately the content in either of those things sometimes makes its way to you via social media or otherwise. Edit: Mannnn I had forgotten how sucky the D1 version of Transversive Steps was compared to the present day one. Movement speed increase... while crouching... Auto-reload... on ammo pickup lol come on.

Ophidian Aspect is by far the most exciting exotic in my eyes. I'm always trying to get gloves that have the primary weapon loader that matches my primary, but I won't ever have to worry about that with these gloves! Having these gloves equipped basically gives you speed reload and quickdraw for all your weapons, that is absolutely amazing! These will be a strong choice for PvP and PvE.
Can't wait to see all of these in action. On the redundancy of insurmountable skull fort, the helm did give you regeneration as a free perk, also those new arms dont give you melee energy on spawn
I don't know if anyone has thought about this but what above the ATS/8 hunter exotics. Isn't the helmet called the "ATS/8 arachnid?" Well then the chest piece is called the "ATS/8 tarantella?" Well maybe the A in ATS stands for arachnid and the T stands for tarantella. I'm thinking another armor piece will come out called like the ATS/8 spyder or something like that. This is just what I'm thinking. They could have no relation whatsoever but it's possible...
I will probably be using the Twilight Garrison and the Dune Marchers as a Titan, because I LOVE Titan Skating, and those will really help with that. Can't wait to get these!!!!

I like the warlock helmet you said, but after seeing a video I thing it was planet destiny, that chest piece is amazing!! It's basically shadestep for titans. That crazy thing is that if you manage your jump you can use it twice in mid air. Combined with shoulder charger you can then use three times in mid air. The only down side is that it doesn't change colour when shaders are equipped. Other thing I liked was also the titan gunlets with double melee and faster super. Last but no least the warlock boots. Auto reload and faster agility amazing
CONSPIRACY! What if they hold these exotics, like they did with the new emotes, only to release it separately, also like the emotes, and not part of the expansion. What if these exotics become part of the content released that was promised between expansions? While it was already in the game, so the microtransactions didn't actually fund them. Man i just got the Twilight Garrison, it is do freaking amazing, that is much better than my hunter and my warlock blink, and i used to always prefer my hunter and warlock because i live to blink, but this evade with the garrison is a step beyond.
In regards to the Thagomizers, it won't make The Insurmountable Skullfort completely redundant. Sure it may give the additional melee charge anyway but it's more focused around Striker Titan. Depending what other secondary perks you get on both exotics, they are both viable for a double melting point sunbreaker.

+cadkls and that statement is also coming from a player who used Blink exclusively ever since I unlocked it. PvE PvP blink for 12 months straight then it's changed. I'm just not used to the new one is all which is why I switched to focused burst and a new subclass.
ATS/8 Arachnid helmet was amazing because it increased the accuracy so much and on crucible levels such as First Light, Bastion, and Skywatch (I think that's what it was called), I was able to snipe people all the way when I was at flag A and enemies were at flag C with my golden so I wouldn't say the helmet was terrible or redundant but it wasn't the best, you just needed to know how to use it.
+TrollDuck456 not really. blink was mainly a problem because of blade dancers anyway, it helped to break the super and they have the perk to instantly ready weapons, so blink was always stronger with them not to mention bald dancer is a more common class than void walker. the ophidian gloves or whatever they are gives the void walkers the same weapon ready ability (which on both basically removes the nerf that added to blink). Helm is just awesome though... and warlock created blink so they should abuse it not blade dancers lol GET YOUR LORE

No he isn't, Titans shit all over the other classes when it comes to speed. Warlocks are a pile of wank (alltogether) but specifically their 'jump' which is just a pathetic downward glide and hunters which basically just go up. Titans can go the highest and actually the furthest with shoulder charge.
I owned a Warlock, and trust me i've had enough experience and the jump is fucking shite. But what disgusts me the most, is that pathetic hover during stormtrance, it made me delete my Warlock
hunters may have higher agility but other classes cannot compete with the Titans lift. It offers a horizontal burst of speed while in the air. I'll beat any warlock/hunter getting from A-B. Race me motherfuckers, find out.
Hey Byf, MoreConsole uploaded a video showing off gameplay that someone submitted to him using the titan chest piece. It is possible to get these armor pieces but EXTREMELY rare there are only like 2 people in the world who have these armor pieces

Byf, regarding the Thagomizers, If i was using sunbreaker or defender then i would use my Insurmountable Skullfort because i would gain an additional charge and 1 of them would recharge on spawn, but if i was using the striker subclass then i would use the thagomizers because they cater towards the striker.

I believe that the exotic gauntlets are related to a quest, considering how Xûr sold the other three class specific gaunlet pairs, they might be tied to a quest where you need to use a pair of exotic gauntlets to unlock the other.
You've neglected to mention a few year 2 versions of year 1 exotics. There's a Y2 version of the Arachnid helm for Hunters with an additional ability to it's zoom perk which allows GG to drain slower after activation. There's also a Y2 Purifier Robes in the armoury. I think there's a few others too, none are available yet though.
Warlock boots seem op (in a good way) for pve... There is primary ammo everywhere as well as special and you can run around and basically have to hardly ever reload your primary weapon. That's amazing. Imagine those while charging into a hoard with the supercell... Or even with Hawkmoon that'd be awesome!! It's equally badass for special and heavy ammo as well! If you have a boss, see heavy on the ground, unload on him and pick it up and keep unloading. I think those are the best exotics mentioned
I am not a big pvp guy, but void walker has always been my favorite class and i love blink as my only jump on it because it is so different and interesting to use. I mainly use obsidian steel but that helm would be my new go to item :D!
Okay these Warlock exotics are AMAZING! The Gauntlets seem really good for TLW since you have to do the spin animation whenever you switch. I always daydreamed about a exotic that did what this helmet did; make blink awesome. The transverse steps seem like they would be good for Trails of Osiris so you can move faster and get bonus reloads
I love my voidwalker and I can't wait for ophidian aspect. Basically quickdraw for warlocks. I also love me bladedancer and I can't wait for Shinubu's vow because skip grenades are getting buffed too.
There is also a Cabal commander in outbound signal that has Skyburners Annex too, same with Twilight Garrison seems all Taken cabal commanders have the new exotics
Guys! FROST-335, or whatever, are gonna be in rise of iron, because of the running segment in the new raid. So releasing this exotic would make that alot easier.
It is certain that these items are not being saved for an other expansion. When bungie was describing the new exotics in the taken king in an interview a while back, they told us each class was getting half a dozen new exotics, these are the other half of the bunch that are missing, and frankly, I find it ridiculous that they're blocking off content I payed for(again), without so much as a peep about what's going on. "We'll be releasing more exotics throughout the course of year two" is no where near a good enough statement about these. Also, bungie's armoury, ironically, is not reliable, look at all of those armour pieces with reforge ready. Would recommend not taking what it says on there as truth.
The Blink helmet is not over powered in the slightest way. Yes it goes further, yes it's cool down is reduced but remember your weapon doesn't ready up as fast anymore. That difference is huge, huge enough that Warlocks aren't blinking anymore.
I do recall someone linking an account on destiny tracker or something where someones character had the arachnid chest piece for the hunter. However there were some debates about the character being a test character
Astrocyte Verse is a good exotic, but people saying it's "gamebreaking" or "OP" are, in a way, wrong. Yes, people will be closing gaps faster. That's about it, though. It doesn't give you that ready speed that blink used to have, and that's what made blink such an overpowered mobility tool. You still have just as much time to counter that blink, they'll just be traveling to you from further distances.
You byf one of people from my raid got dune marchers for his titan and it actually dropped from orxy himself. Just thought id let you know. Keep up the good work :)
ophindian aspect will be the op exotic for shotguns, you can ready it faster and reload, screw longer blink and short cool down. If I can ready my shotgun faster than you I win regardless of distance because shot package, nuffsaid
Astrocyte Verse of course is gonna be amazing but Transverse steps may be better if they will automatically reload your primary;when you kill a guardian they always drop primary ammo so maybe it will be like the auto reload from bad juju but you have to pick it the ammo of course . Think about it

ATS/8 Tarantella and Twilight Garrison have been found both supposedly came from a three of coins engram that dropped off of the heroic darkblade specifically. Idk if that is coincidental or if there is something up with exotic engrams that drop off of the darkblade.
i seen that titan chest piece used in crucible before, i didnt give it much thought before but now i really wish i inspected that player to double check.
The Twilight Garrison has been looted. An interesting thing to note though, is that everyone who claims to have gotten the chest piece has gotten it as a three of coins drop from Dark blade.
twilight garrison will be the most OP. It has the most versatility. Ability to disengage extremely quickly if you are too close to a shotgunner. It also has the ability to be a shotgunner by evading foward + increased control lift for insane distance and speed to get into shotgun lethal range.
Byf actually twilight garrison already been found as someone got it to drop for them, same for the tarantula chest armor(forgot its name) for hunter. :)
They aren't hidden at all, they just haven't been released into the loot table yet. There was a glitch in week 1 where players were able to get these exotics from engrams, this was quickly patched but there are people out there with these exotics. Very few though.
Another great video full of information. I had hoped you had some mystical knowledge of when/how we will obtain these exotics, but good stuff none the less. Perhaps they will be in the heroic raid loot pool, maybe Bungie isn't happy with the perks so they are reformatting these exotics. Who know's. '~'
Maybe the Ophidian Aspect and Dunemarchers are tied to Trials of Osiris? Those exotic pieces have an Egyptian theme to them and maybe they're only attainable through Trials.
Nothing is random from Xur. Bungie has stated multiple times that items are WEIGHTED, and Bungie has already stated they have REMOVED items from his loot table. RNG is equal chance of availability across all possibilities. Therefore what you get is what Bungie allows you to receive from predetermined lists.
the thagomizers are worn by the centurion bond brother who was taken. He shows uo in the regicide mission and when the mission where you have to use stealth to get crotas soul is the daily, he briefly spawns at the end, right before you are teleported. Maybe you have to quickly kill him?
I bet the Astrocyte verse will just make blink how it was pre-2.0 update at the cost of an exotic slot. Not really worth it IMO, since I would much rather have something like Nothing Manacles.
I think bungie said that the cool down for blink was increased, but that's it as far as nerds. The increased distance is what we should be nervous about

There are exotics that are Hidden from the blueprints, such as the Black Spindle. They unlock in the blueprints but were never there before.

That crazy thing is that if you manage your jump you can use it twice in mid air. Combined with shoulder charger you can then use three times in mid air. The only down side is that it doesn't change colour when shaders are equipped. Other thing I liked was also the titan gunlets with double melee and faster super. Last but no least the warlock boots. Auto reload and faster agility amazing

In regards to the Thagomizers, it won't make The Insurmountable Skullfort completely redundant. Sure it may give the additional melee charge anyway but it's more focused around Striker Titan. Depending what other secondary perks you get on both exotics, they are both viable for a double melting point sunbreaker.

ATS/8 Arachnid helmet was amazing because it increased the accuracy so much and on crucible levels such as First Light, Bastion, and Skywatch (I think that's what it was called), I was able to snipe people all the way when I was at flag A and enemies were at flag C with my golden so I wouldn't say the helmet was terrible or redundant but it wasn't the best, you just needed to know how to use it.

Hey Byf, MoreConsole uploaded a video showing off gameplay that someone submitted to him using the titan chest piece. It is possible to get these armor pieces but EXTREMELY rare there are only like 2 people in the world who have these armor pieces

Byf, regarding the Thagomizers, If i was using sunbreaker or defender then i would use my Insurmountable Skullfort because i would gain an additional charge and 1 of them would recharge on spawn, but if i was using the striker subclass then i would use the thagomizers because they cater towards the striker.

I believe that the exotic gauntlets are related to a quest, considering how Xûr sold the other three class specific gaunlet pairs, they might be tied to a quest where you need to use a pair of exotic gauntlets to unlock the other.
You've neglected to mention a few year 2 versions of year 1 exotics.
There's a Y2 version of the Arachnid helm for Hunters with an additional ability to it's zoom perk which allows GG to drain slower after activation. There's also a Y2 Purifier Robes in the armoury. I think there's a few others too, none are available yet though.
Warlock boots seem op (in a good way) for pve... There is primary ammo everywhere as well as special and you can run around and basically have to hardly ever reload your primary weapon. That's amazing. Imagine those while charging into a hoard with the supercell... Or even with Hawkmoon that'd be awesome!! It's equally badass for special and heavy ammo as well! If you have a boss, see heavy on the ground, unload on him and pick it up and keep unloading. I think those are the best exotics mentioned
I am not a big pvp guy, but void walker has always been my favorite class and i love blink as my only jump on it because it is so different and interesting to use. I mainly use obsidian steel but that helm would be my new go to item :D!
Okay these Warlock exotics are AMAZING! The Gauntlets seem really good for TLW since you have to do the spin animation whenever you switch. I always daydreamed about a exotic that did what this helmet did; make blink awesome. The transverse steps seem like they would be good for Trails of Osiris so you can move faster and get bonus reloads
I love my voidwalker and I can't wait for ophidian aspect. Basically quickdraw for warlocks. I also love me bladedancer and I can't wait for Shinubu's vow because skip grenades are getting buffed too.
There is also a Cabal commander in outbound signal that has Skyburners Annex too, same with Twilight Garrison seems all Taken cabal commanders have the new exotics
Guys! FROST-335, or whatever, are gonna be in rise of iron, because of the running segment in the new raid. So releasing this exotic would make that alot easier.
It is certain that these items are not being saved for an other expansion. When bungie was describing the new exotics in the taken king in an interview a while back, they told us each class was getting half a dozen new exotics, these are the other half of the bunch that are missing, and frankly, I find it ridiculous that they're blocking off content I payed for(again), without so much as a peep about what's going on. "We'll be releasing more exotics throughout the course of year two" is no where near a good enough statement about these. Also, bungie's armoury, ironically, is not reliable, look at all of those armour pieces with reforge ready. Would recommend not taking what it says on there as truth.
The Blink helmet is not over powered in the slightest way. Yes it goes further, yes it's cool down is reduced but remember your weapon doesn't ready up as fast anymore. That difference is huge, huge enough that Warlocks aren't blinking anymore.

The astrocyte verse perk refers to 'Ionic blink' for the stormcallers, not the actual blink jump for voidwalkers!
The Frost-33S are going to be great for the exotic sword quest section where you have to get ability kills and find the legendary materials
Astrocyte Verse is a good exotic, but people saying it's "gamebreaking" or "OP" are, in a way, wrong.
Yes, people will be closing gaps faster. That's about it, though. It doesn't give you that ready speed that blink used to have, and that's what made blink such an overpowered mobility tool. You still have just as much time to counter that blink, they'll just be traveling to you from further distances.

Astrocyte Verse of course is gonna be amazing but Transverse steps may be better if they will automatically reload your primary;when you kill a guardian they always drop primary ammo so maybe it will be like the auto reload from bad juju but you have to pick it the ammo of course . Think about it

ATS/8 Tarantella and Twilight Garrison have been found both supposedly came from a three of coins engram that dropped off of the heroic darkblade specifically. Idk if that is coincidental or if there is something up with exotic engrams that drop off of the darkblade.

The Twilight Garrison has been looted. An interesting thing to note though, is that everyone who claims to have gotten the chest piece has gotten it as a three of coins drop from Dark blade.
twilight garrison will be the most OP. It has the most versatility. Ability to disengage extremely quickly if you are too close to a shotgunner. It also has the ability to be a shotgunner by evading foward + increased control lift for insane distance and speed to get into shotgun lethal range.
Byf actually twilight garrison already been found as someone got it to drop for them, same for the tarantula chest armor(forgot its name) for hunter. :)
They aren't hidden at all, they just haven't been released into the loot table yet. There was a glitch in week 1 where players were able to get these exotics from engrams, this was quickly patched but there are people out there with these exotics. Very few though.
At least one person has found the Titan chest plate, they said they got it from a quest but weren't sure which quest it was

Maybe the Ophidian Aspect and Dunemarchers are tied to Trials of Osiris? Those exotic pieces have an Egyptian theme to them and maybe they're only attainable through Trials.

Nothing is random from Xur. Bungie has stated multiple times that items are WEIGHTED, and Bungie has already stated they have REMOVED items from his loot table. RNG is equal chance of availability across all possibilities. Therefore what you get is what Bungie allows you to receive from predetermined lists.

the thagomizers are worn by the centurion bond brother who was taken. He shows uo in the regicide mission and when the mission where you have to use stealth to get crotas soul is the daily, he briefly spawns at the end, right before you are teleported. Maybe you have to quickly kill him?
I bet the Astrocyte verse will just make blink how it was pre-2.0 update at the cost of an exotic slot. Not really worth it IMO, since I would much rather have something like Nothing Manacles.

I think I was playing against a Hunter with Shinobu's Vow because his skip grenade wouldn't stop tracking me. I ran to the other side of the Dreadnaught's PVP map and it still was following me.
I'm feeling like some of these will be included when Trials comes back around, or like you said, with further smaller expansions to the Taken King.
