In this destiny video we are taking a look at how to farm archons forge and get the most out of the activity. I'll be going through all of my tips to easily farm for 385 and 387 gear by completing archons forge activities. You can also get weapons like the but not forgotten sniper or saladins vigil, and easily complete the shiro 4 bounties for the thorn quest. I need help getting to level forty quick
Best way to 385 is to select the individual strike from the map that you can run fastest and change it from easy to Normal difficulty. This is 320 recommended light but the Blue(Rare) drops at the end of the strikes will go up to 385. I can run these in 7 minutes or less easily. I went from 365 to 385 in a few hours

This really works I've been doing this for about a week now and I've jumped from 331 to 352 within the week. Some was crucible but mostly was this way

Nope, you are definately not alone there. Gotten some great class Items but never any weapons....
Same. Grinded yesterday for such a long time and got like 6 class items in a row, all were 366 and I was 366. So I decided that I wanted to play strikes, got a splicer key in Sepiks Perfected, used it in hope of getting the Devil's Dawn and guess what I got? A fucking bond, again. 366.

u only get the sniper an fusion rifle as weapons an all the armor only drop up to 365 that's it. class items are the only ones that can drop 385 or higher

Another tip I got from reddit; if you see a siva offering on the ground, don't pick it up until you need to use it. If you don't have one in your inventory they will continue to drop on the ground

I KNEW it had something to do with the SIVA pods! I've always destroyed them every time, and gotten the axes pretty consistently. Good to know for sure, now
Oh man that explains alot. Usually I sprint in there, hear the sound of the Forge being activated, yet nothing happens and no one else is there. I definitely need to slow down

this is the best forge guide i've seen yet.
Another thing you forgot to mention or didn't know is that to get the SIVA pod thing to show up on the one side that you need to kill to get the axes, what you have to do is shoot and kill all the other pods that show up randomly throughout the area and after a couple of them it opens up one of the far sides with the pod in it
Have you played this recently at all? Just curious if this is still accurate. I'm going back to D1 for the time being. D2 isn't all that appealing right now.
It's usually a hit or miss nowadays ever since d2 came out
Going through the back cave is the best way if you don't get a group. You won't need a key, just join in. I've had times when it joined me before the stairs and I had to use a key to get in (like on a respawn). The Saladin's Vigil fusion that drops there is great for AC since it's small and gets VERY crowded with extremely pissed off fallen, 4 so far. The Gone But Not Forgotten is a hella sweet sniper that drops in AC. I have 2. RNG usually wipes it's pimply ass on me but AC has been pretty good. So far.
Finally, I can play without a fire team... thankyou.. Every time I went to Archons Forge, I was always on my own.. Who would have known to just walk slow to Archon Forge.. FFS !! this has helped me out so much..
took me forever to get to 365. walking slowly huh? that's why every time I was running and I can see people in there but when I got up the stairs they would disappear. Thank you so much for the tip!

Here is another tip. Go the way he said the second time. You will be locked out from the one they are currently doing if you go the first way
unless you have splicer keys
GG'S gaming and destiny Im pretty sure you cant use splicer keys to gain access to Archons Forge when an event is going on. I have accidentally respawned and was stuck up there. I have over 20 splicer keys

If there is no one there with an offering, go to the caves and walk slowly back to the forge. Dont go from the front entrance or you will have to use a splicer key to get in.
This is the same as with the previous expansion. This is a matchmaking hall way. Just walk in past the first crate and wait a good 15 - 30 seconds before continuing in all of the way. You should have no issues getting an already in progress event. If you do not for some reason go back to the loading screen before the Giant's Husk and hit up the area again.
I got "but not forgotten" last night, I'm in love :)
Tip: What I do is go into the other area down the cavern. Kill everyone in that first area. Once killed return to the forge and there always seem to be guardians there either waiting for a group or already starting it up. It may all be a coincidence but this has always worked for me.
Archons forge is cool and ive got good loot but ive only done it with three players so i decided to try both and they both helped me farm to get saladins vigel

walking in does work, though for me it only worked about 50% of the time but it could be because of the times i play.
did not know about the siva cluster thing, but i just kill everything anyways.

The archons forge warlock armor is by far the coolest armor set(at least for warlocks) IMO
Archon Forge armor is capped at 365. I haven't had a weapon drop for me so.. I can't say anything about that.
the only armor that drops higher for me are the class items
you are are a F U lier does not work has low light gear
Only thing that drops at my light level (373) are my class items. Everything else is capped at 365
I have only gotten one chest piece and a whole bunch of marks and have not gotten any weapons and have sat through at least 30 of these if someone could give me an example of how long it took them to get any weapons would appreciate it very much
That's just RNG unfortunately man. It seems like it takes quite a while for weapons to drop, most commonly it's a specific set of armor drops. Just gotta keep plugging the forge and it's a pretty good source of spinmetal and glimmer for you to farm on the side.
fusion rifles are also a good way to stop the exploders exploding they just disintegrate as well
Blues max out at 340 and purples max out at 365, with the exception of class items that can drop up to 385 in this activity.
yo unknown name's rayne, love your vids. i like archon forge, when i get a team, but one really good way to make each encounter go pretty well is after getting the axes and reaching the 100%mark i found that grabbing an a axe then waiting on top of the center dome to open with the boss you get far better dps. but that is just me and my thoughts. anyway can't wait for more stuff later.

For me archon's forge was the best metod to upgrade the light level from 314 to 352
for exploding shank u can use ur warlock or titan melee , but must in perfect time

Wow I have over 200 archons forge victories in my book and still haven't gotten it. I've been grinding my ass off and you're over here with 4 of them in one day

I feel like the only way you get stuff to drop in the Archon's Forge is if the person that kills the end boss, only they will get loot. If two people end up killing it at the same time, they get the loot.
Random tip - If you have the Thorn quest and have to kill 500 Fallen in the Plaguelands, Archon's Forge is a GREAT way to quickly get all those kills!

Do Archon's Forge after Iron Banner (unless you are desperately low light level). IB is giving high light level loot and is good for infusion!

The only thing I want from the Archon's Forge is the sniper... And after almost 200 completions, I still don't have one. While one of my friends has gotten the sniper 3 times while playing half of the amount of forge I have....
At this point I don't care if I get the worst roll in the world, I just want it.
ive played a game with rng like destiny for 4 years got something that ive always wanted and the funny ting is someone thats played for 1 already has atleast 40 of them
you need to pray to RNG Jesus more.
DRUCO316 ive gotten something that has like 0.002 percent chance to drop theres also been people whove gotten over 20 of those things but its the game one so they want the one to the other class
I know them feels. I struggled to get the Psion Flayer mantle forever myself. I did happen to get the But Not Forgotten a couple of times already but neither rolled with explosive rounds so I just used them to upgrade my Dead Orbit sniper.

axes spawn when the notes say, "Your Worth Will Be Tested." Then you destroy the Siva cluster things.
there is another Siva cluster down the backside of the secret space. path down the mountain leads you there

How didn't you figure out how to get the axes until this late in the game. On day two I went into archons forge and figured it out.

Exploder shanks disintegrate with Arc Blade as well.
actually, the weapons are an exception in light level. they only drop up to 365 light. not complaining tho, got me the sniper and 2 fusions off it
expoder shanks don't explode either when when you kill the with fusion rifles

hey don't know if you know this but when you shoot hawkmoon with its new the moon glow shader on the feathers catch on fire when the magic bullets proc. the carrsion shader has like this white lightning that travels down the barrel

I usually just go in there with my sparrow speeding so this helps
The problem I'm finding is that once your inventory is full items get sent to the postmaster and that seems to be capped a 20 items so you farm for hours and head back to the tower to find only 20 items (mostly blue engrams) at the postmaster. I've done this farming many times and always the postmaster is capped at 20 item so kiss goodbye all the armour and weapons you should have received.
N O'Toole use the destiny app on your phone to transfer engrams to the vault. never have to leave

I got 1 365 the other day then something 1 light higher then what i already had, i think it's just a shit chance drop like everything else.
Doop only items that drop over 365 are class items

questions from someone who hasn't done hardly any Archon's Forge: If I'm not the one with the active offering do I still get loot? Are you guaranteed if you have an offering? Does 3oC work in this and if so is it only on perfected offerings?
