Thanks for the videos. Your lathe seems to be very similar to mine, I don't have a DRO or the shield but mine is a clausing Colchester 13x48, presumably from the '80s or so. Works great
@@SamCyanide Hi Sam, these lathes were refurbished 3 years ago. They were manufactured in the late 60s. I'm not sure who manufactures the chuck guard, but ours also incorporates a micro switch, so the machine is isolated when it upright. A google search produced lots of findings. Hope this helps.
