I watched all your videos and enjoyed them all. Thanks for sharing some unique solutions and out of the box thinking.
All these years and no one noticed that super cool clipboard holder.
Thankyou for noticing 👍
i really like the videos u put out. its cool how you show the kinda odd jobs and some not everyday techniques
RumpLeINtiLINsKinnIN I like to try different things. I'm glad you like it :)
I love watching you guys machine.Balls out machining and some really cool techniques.I dig that automatic tool retraction that your dad made for the tool post for cutting threads!Russian engineering at it finest!
Thanks! I'm glad you like the videos!Jimmy
Razor blades flying! Thanks for sharing
Cosmo yep, sometimes I get cut. long sleeves can save me alot of times though :)
Good jobs friend..👍👍👍👍
Nice video. What size and brand lathe? seems like a beast!
Not much of a beast haha it's a "turn Master" 17×80 I believe. 10 hp
@@therussianmachinists2409 Compared to my little one it is! cheers
i really like ur work and appreciate u
Thank you!
@@therussianmachinists2409 sir please make a video on morse taper adapter selection and measurement for lathe
plunging it like a bear! приветики из Словакии, хорошая работа))
Спасибо :)
Is there any possibility to make helical groove inside a tappered pipe
Sure thing. Using a "taper attachment" is the ideal way to cut that on a manual lathe. I'm sure a cnc lathe or mill can do that as wellJimmy
They look so cool, but for what are the parts to be used?
Dahut it has something to do with a wood machine I think
My wife thinks RPM are a little too high.Good video!
Инструментальный цех haha, I'll keep that in mind. thanks :)
how much do you make an hour and where? i'm just getting into this industry
Random Stuff I make enough to stay alive and keep well :) no machine shops are really the same so pay will vary from all sorts of variables :)
What material was that? 4140?
Dave Prototype I think it's just mild steel...
no true machinist calls them shavings!
So I enjoy watching this, although it seems like you are stressing the machine a little much by bearing it. Nice work though!
Pretty heavy swarf too bad you couldn't get the chip breaker to work.
Dave Prototype I'm not sure why I haven't tried to improve the chip shape. I'll try to mess with chip breaker next time :)
Man I’ve seen some bad things with these machines.. Do not wear long sleeve clothing while working with these.
if you fed at 45 degrees from the compound you would have gotten better chip breaking and gotten the job done faster
it's a Harden and material so cant break chips
dude! No strings hanging down off your sweater! Crazy foolish!
I was actually thinking about that today. Thanks for looking out :)Jimmy
Not too bright are you........
I guess not...
Sure.
