The clarity that Maharishikaa brings in these concepts that otherwise feel so floaty and nebulous and unreal somehow, is just brilliant! 12:57 what a brilliant statement here! I hope all those who are in this specialised journey of Self Realization find these videos of Maharishikaa 🙏🏽
yes.I was just thinking the same.Kind of cloudy and confuzing thoughts presented from various seekers and M. allways ties loose ends and present the answer and direction. The lady is a Master no doubt about it.
Extraordinary 🙏🏼 I also had a similar conceptual question a few weeks ago about who is the one that is discerning between the ego and the Truth - isn't it in a way a conceptual awareness coming from the tiny ego that is taken (name, daughter of mother) that is discerning? But ultimately even if that were the case, so what? Most of us have been living and making decisions and actions from the place of conceptual awareness anyway so might as well use it to learn surrender and be in this state of humblessness until the experience of the Truth becomes real, not just a conceptual identity/reality. I realized I should probably let this question go for now until I'm deeper into the self-realization process and the question will either disappear naturally or will be answered as the consciousness expands down the line, or else this line of questioning might create obstacles to trusting and practicing this sadhana fully. Thank you Maharishikaa-ji for your boundless presence and love ❤🙏🏼
Trauma is not in the past. A more modern definition is that trauma is not an event or a series of events that happened in the past. Trauma is the imprint of past events on your nervous system today, resulting in a permanent state of dysregulation. I love Maharishikaa but opposing spirituality and therapy seems like a false dichotomy to me. You can follow your soul impulse and use modern therapeutic methods allowing you to rewire your nervous system like NARM for example. Efficient therapy is not about stories about the past. It's very much about the present moment and getting in touch with the body. "Just bend to the truth and leave your trauma behind" doesn't work for people with a dysregulated nervous system. Which is the starting point for a lot of spiritual seekers.
So we deal with the present, which is what we do in trauma therapy. We don't deal with the narratives of the past we deal.with what's happening in the present moment...we don't have to go into the why's we deal with reality, the now, the present experience.
🙏🏽 you are right, follow what feels at ease for you. People need to have someone to look up to and they need ever new gurus/leaders to listen to so they can feel satisfied and safe in maya...all is just a theatrical play of the same
@omalila7399 - bending to the Truth, does work for people with dysregulated nervous systems. I speak from my own personal experience as someone who suffered things like migraines, panic attacks, anxiety for a very long time until I met Maharishikaa and learned this practice. And what I’m now starting to read and understand is that I had a terribly dysregulated nervous system, with carbon dioxide levels dropping massively, which is a common reason for Panic Attacks, however when I approached many psychologists and counsellors, the only thing they could do for me was medicate me, before starting any kind of therapy. The first time I met Maharishikaa, 90 percent of my anxiety vanished in that moment and I’ve been free of any sort of nervous disorders for about 8 years now. The amount of time it took to come out of the intense anxiety and depression I was experiencing to reach a point of the opposite experience in the body, fearlessness in so many aspects, only came from the Surrender Practice and doing Sevaa. While you may be one of the rare therapist or counsellors, who speaks about the present, this doesn’t represent the majority. I don’t feel it’s opposing, rather encouraging psychologists and counsellors to also change their approach of harbouring on the past (as many have, who have been attending satsangs, and have expressed the challenges they face) and instead taking a more spiritual approach. I was 20 years old, believing my life was over before I met Maharishikaa and everything changed. There’s millions of 20 year olds suffering from similar things, being medicated and being asked to look at their past and what happened in their childhood, and what their parents did to them, and it’s being labelled as “trauma”. Trauma is being generated when it’s not there for many, resulting in a vicious cycle.
I would like to know what was meant by cutting the nerve behind the eye and stitching it back together at 8:40. ... I'm asking as a Vipassana meditator

So thankful for the distinction between Identity for the spiritual seeker and the Ego ❤
