Maharishikaa has completely shifted my spiritual practice. After studying the Scriptures of India and China, the latter has a broader concept of Soul which was recognized as very important for the understanding of our psyche and our behavior by the psychologist Carl G. Jung. The Soul as we know it in the West corresponds to the ethereal Soul that survives after death, which is linked to the Celestial heart and to the cosmic Intelligence and is called Hun. Apart from that, we have an earthly soul linked to our sexual and survival needs called Po. Both have autonomy so that at times throughout our lives they can impose themselves on our psyche in terms of desires and actions. Following Jung "we can discover that we are not the only inhabitants of the house." In addition, Jung mentions Archetypes as stereotypes of the collective unconscious which "act as forces upon us" unconsciously.
That "absence of the body" is called disassociation, and it is due to being awfully ungrounded.
All spiritual seekers go through it, but they put it on some sort of spiritual experience. And it is to some extent. But the reason why you embody the body is to experience the human form and it's potential.
