Funny thing was that if you dont take that train and run down the rail, you see a galbadian Militarycar right on the rail, dont letting you pass. So back then I always thought the Train was crashing into them and Zells punch to the ground was just good timing^^
Beat the game recently. After kicking Ultimecia's ass with one trillion Renzokukens, the finishing blow was randomly scored by an 800 damage hit by Angelo. Was kind of ridiculous actually.

This girl could shoot laser beams out of her eyes, degenerate foes into nothing, summon Death, blast missiles from her palms, spit acid, blast a volley of bullets from her, erm, breasts? And utterly annihilate enemies with Shockwave Pulsar. Erm, actually, I think Quistis is something far MORE powerful than a Sorceress..
Just when you think you can’t like Zell anymore than you do, you see My Final Heaven and are proven wrong. Then, you see him eating hotdogs and are once again proven wrong only to be proven wrong immediately after as he starts chocking on said hotdogs.

Zell can do infinite mass punches and run at Flash speeds, Quistis can use the power of the strongest Guardian Force ever and also break the damage limit, Squall can like fly and leap super high, Irvine packs every type of ammo, even *tank busting railgun shots* in that rifle of his, Rinoa's dog can teleport people to space and become a blue metor, herself can cast crazy matter altering magic, and Selphie can literally erase things out of existence! Oh and Laguna can attach a rope to *nothing*. These supposed students, teachers and ex-military are all super beings!
Let's not forget how Ward can leap seemingly hundreds of feet into the air with no running start. Or how Angelo can make people literally invulnerable at the cost of a dog treat.
JayDragon7 Yes, the end can and does finish even the ultimate weapons in FF8. I've tried and done it in ps1 back in the day and it worked great(when the end proced ofc..)
In the game's coding are two spells that were most likely intended as part of Selphie's Slot Limit Break. These are 'Percent', a gravity spell that reduces HP (I forgot how much though), and 'Catastrophe', a damaging spell stronger than Ultima or Apocalypse. Neither of them have any animations left in, so they just use the default 'Fire' animation.
Kiros' limit break is the most underwhelming one. He does 6 hits and get's up in the enemy's face like if he's going to unleash something cool but instead just ends right there
To be honest, everyone that isn't a main party member has an underwhelming limit break compared to the main cast. Kiros' is probably the best out of the temporary party members (though he can only use it on one enemy i think). Seifer's and Edea's only work on one target and only have one hit, and while Laguna and Ward use it on all enemies, it's still one hit. They do look cool, though.
The sound effects are fantastic... Especially if you consider that it's all using the same small sound data (the PSX has 512kb of sound ram and most goes to music and reverb buffer and streaming is possible but unpractical), and the only things it can use are volume, panning, pitch, noise mode and pitch modulation mode.
Quitsis' limits where just basically the attacks from FF7's Enemy Skill materia with a few exceptions like Gatling Gun, Electrocute which in turn looked like Quazocolts attack
You also missed a few more things, like the 4-hit, 6-hit, 7-hit, and 8-hit Renzokuken variation and the boss-specific Renzokukens (like the one against Omega Weapon, Bahamut, etc.), and Seifer's special Limit Break that he used against Squall during the solo fight against him, but you did a great job with this.
The reason I like NES bionic commando or Top Secret better is because of Laguna limit break. I never knew military soldier actually uses grappling hook in battle. It's really awesome.
Man if you like the sound effects as much as me, you should know this version had reverb disabled, a flaw of expse with this game. I did some testing at the time and only Xebra can reproduce the accurate sound

When he met at the drop off point I tightened my shoe laces and did zells my final heaven! To no surprise I didn’t run around the entire earth, but instead ran around the car park and landed the cleanest left hook ever! My Amy was safe and I’d saved her father a ransom of $20,000! Upon returning home I was featured in my local paper and was awarded the Jamanglethon medal of bravery. I owe this game a lot .
Fucking hell, this partly looks still modern, almost, in a simplistic way, and it's the oldest 3D console in the world. The point is: there is nothing like that on the N64, although it was supposed to be more powerful, and maybe thereotically it could have displayed a couple polygons more per screen, but this never stopped bothering me.

It doesn't matter how high the damage is for the last blow, even a weak spell like blizzard can finish her off. It's a free throw.

A Smith no u wrong, the end still work on Ultimecia, but u have to use twice, i used to do that when im lazy to kill her
