This anime is 5 years old now and yet it feels very modern. From the animation to the music everything was just very well made. It hasn’t aged a bit at all. Sure it has mostly a bunch of sexual innuendos and references but take away all that and you have a sweet love story between two individuals outcasted by everyone they knew and having to rely on themselves all the time. One of the most impressive and well made anime I’ve seen (at least till episode 15 lol)

I watched this anime once when I was younger. I didnt really understand the plot. A couple years later, I rewatch it and now im so heavily affected by this show. Its crazy how relatable this show was for me. It was beautiful, sad and happy at the same time. Truly a masterpiece.

Sadness, Emptiness, Depression, Loneliness - coming all together. Even tough i watched the series countless times i stil cry like a baby. No anime ever had this much impact on me.

like, I love this show, but I cannot defend the fight scenes, while I think they added on to the story in a way they were lowkey mid, except for the OST ofc.
This show still makes me cry when I think about it, my favourite piece of media of all time, doesn't have to be your favourite, but nothing comes close, at least to me.

Suddenly, their franxx’s can operate in space?? Then Hiro reconnects with zero two and the apus turns into a huge zero two ship?? Then they literally leave their galaxy to fight Virm, during that time, Hiro gives up on humanity again??
