So I've been taking stock of lessons I've learned. I've gotten into a lot of blocks over the years and managed to try and get my way out of them. So in this video, I share a little bit of a list of these steps that I made for myself that I use to breathe life and energy into my drawing practice. I hope that this video can just help inspire a little bit of action and give a bit of energy into your creative practice.

Great artist!
I find it easy to draw out of my egocentric need to draw. Because then I draw something that inspired me to draw. When I’m asked to draw for someone like a portrait or a wedding picture I always struggle. The spontaneous freedom of drawing out of inspiration is gone. So in conclusion it’s therapeutic for me to draw out of lust and quit stressing to draw for others. The only reason I draw for others is that I like their reactions when they get their drawing. It’s feels good to make someone happy with something I made for them. Thanks for informative and inspiring videos. From a Norwegian Viking 🇳🇴😊👍
Your video’s have inspired me to start drawing against after over 50 years.recoving from kidney cancer and since watch you I’ve started again. Thanks Joni😃
WOW!! I could even draw those black backgrounds!
One of the things I’ve learned from you is it is ok to stick with one medium for a long time and really get to know it.
I’ve felt pressure to learn many different mediums to be “marketable” - b/w lineart, painting, digital art, 3D, etc, and it causes a lot of anxiety when I can’t at least try to master any one.
Watching you dive deep into a medium you love and seeing the results of that effort has, in a way, given me the freedom to want that, as well.
thank you for sharing your experiences
Please try the staedtler mars lumograph black , they are dark pencils with out any shine

Hello Jono, my name is Serge, I have been following your work for a few years now and really admire you, drawing has always been my passion but never had enough time to pursue it due to my situation.
You really are an inspiration, would never get tired of watching you at work, thanks for showcasing your amazing work.
Now just a question, could you please draw in your own way a composition of an African Lion, please .
But I want to have first choice of purchasing from you.
I know it might sound crazy me asking you, but it means a lot to me, thanks

What sort of projection system do you use to transfer drawings to your paper surface?
Are these beautiful works ,once sold, behind glass, safely preserved for Xtra generations to love??

Why do artists stick to 1 medium
Put coconut oil in your morning coffee. You’ll have energy all day. The ketones in it feed your brain.
Please don’t laugh at me but you should do a collab with Sleep Token
I wonder if Jono could do a drawing of Joe Matarese falling into a blackhole.. maybe I'm asking for too much?
