I'm fifteen, so I don't have much money to spend on organizing. I often repurpose cereal boxes to divide boxes and drawers. My family is not very organized, nor is willing to fund my ventures, so for our junk drawer I cut the bottom two inches off of cereal boxes and used those to make a low budget drawer organizer. I used painters tape to secure them to the bottom of the drawer and stapled them together for extra security
Whew! Finally, something that refers to the 3M Command product line, even if it was just a minute. Had realized that I needed to organize my 3M hooks and extra strips to replace the old ones. When you have the different sizes and hooks that gets collected over the years, it's nice to have it all sorted out so you don't have to be digging through things. Kinda like a battery daddy. No one has anything that talks to just the 3M Command stuff. You always have more than you need and you always need a hook somewhere the minute you think about it. So your kit will always grow. And knowing what you have in an instant saves you from buying what you don't need.
My teenagers think I am totally mad going around organising everything. Thank you for so many great tips and ideas. My desk drawer was a total mess. I looked for baskets that would fit and couldnt find any in my local town. I eventually got microwavable and freezer proof food containers. A pack of 4 for £1. Two lots of these and my desk drawer is perfect.x
The Wire & Cords Deep Dish Tackle Box. Well I got it today and already realize that my "Electronics Tackle Box may need to be more specific over time. One thing I need is a label maker and obviously a way to store that stuff too. Thank You for these examples. It's so cool!

these ideas are great. I especially love your lazy susan cheap from dollar store. I used rice instead of marbles. fabulous. the lazy susan/ 8 in cake pans hold med bottles better than regular lazy susan

AdorableCharms21 You need to strike a balance. I think organizers are to a large extent, quite obsessive, but someone created a career field out of it, probably so they could make a living rather than just drive everyone else nuts with all their compulsions to put everything where it belongs (and color-code, alphabetize, etc.). The blessing is that this girl IS inspiring, even for mentally cluttered people like me. I can take what I like from her videos and leave the rest - I would never do my bookcase like she does, for example. But it has inspired me to find systems that work for ME, which is positive.
I love how excited you get to show your organized stuff. I hope I someday become that amazing with organization. I'm pretty organized but you're just organization goals

Alejandra, Would the "Wires and Cords" bin be deep enough to file CDs in the paper envelopes? I have been thinking of removing all my DVDs from their bulky boxes. And putting them in those paper sleeves. I like this bin because I could store them elsewhere, and the handle would make it easy to carry them where I want them to go, when movie night occurs.

I recently cleaned out my spare room and after watching this series I'm so tempted to have my own home office, the only downer is I don't have any reason to HAVE a home office (I'm a full time carer and a casual deli worker) so it would be the room where my cat sleeps and I sit on Tumblr ^^

Actually her desk and bookcase are very good for small spaces, and you can keep your office supplies down to a minimum, she's a bit of a hoarder for office supplies (I say that because I am the same, I'd rather have 500 pens than 500 shoes!) but you don't have to keep that much stuff. You just have to be super-organized and have a place for everything and everything in its place, when your work place is out in the open.

Alejandra, can you come to my house to organize every room??!! ;-). I don't know what happened to me over the years. Used to clean regularly by put with age and "stuff", it has become impossible. I have a painting studio in a basement bedroom and a craft room for scrapbooking in the smaller bedroom upstairs. Just not enough room for everything! Lol. The plastic containers with the dividers that you have are very nice and they do sell those at the Joann's stores. I have picked up one to contain "sticklers" in although I think the holders on the inside would be better used to store the sickles on within drawers. Going to have to watch your drawer organization to see if I can pick up on organization within the Jetmax cubes I gave in my scrap room. Use those exclusively as I just cannot keep "stuff" out like pretty milk glass dishes, etc like other scrapers do as I just don't want to have to keep it all dusted. Love the shabby chic look of others rooms, but I just could not keep up with all the dusting! Thank you for sharing your ideas. Hope I can gain more insight by watching your videos and then gain inspiration/motivation from it as well! ;-)
please create a "how to store/organize reusable/recycle grocery bags?" i live in a tiny apartment so space is limited. i currently have mine shoved in a duffel bag but it is so difficult to grab what U want & return it to place. PLEASE HELP!!
