Agree totally! We don't have Dollar Tree in Sydney, Australia & lazy susans are truly expensive things to purchase, with this method, I can have much cheaper lazy susans made for our kitchen. YAY! Thanks Alejandra :-D

Alejandra, I'm OBSESSED! Over the last 16 years that my husband and I have lived together our house has gotten messier and messier, to the point where we're the family joke! Now I'm moving project by project through my house, and it's amazing!! I had a student come in yesterday and said "Holy crap, I think I'm in the wrong house!" THANK YOU!!

I am sorting through SEVERAL boxes of old papers right now. I listed a box of 33 VHS tapes on Ebay (Yes, VHS tapes. A guy named Steven used to live in this apartment building. He moved out and left masses of stuff, including 2 large boxes of VHS tapes.) and an office chair on Craig's List.
Watching your videos keeps me motivated. I'm working on decluttering and getting reasonably organized.

The lazy susan idea was sooo smart! Definitely using this idea if I don't buy one myself. :)
I am a quilter. I use a new pizza box (I asked and they gave me a couple) to hold all of the pieces of my quilt blocks when they are cut. It is big enough to hold the pieces to a queen size quilt. Everything is together to make the top when I am ready to sew. I keep the instructions, thread, and a few extra pieces of fabric in the box. It is easy to take with me to my quilt classes and guild meetings.
Lazy susan...my mind just exploded! So many wonderful ideas here! It's so nice to see a video from you pop up again, looking forward to Part 2! Happy New Year :)

love the lazy susan! I have plenty of cake pans to use for that...plus, when you need to bake a cake, you can still use them for that purpose. the cup hooks for necklaces are cool, too.
as for the pizza box organizer...that was really cool! if people worry about grease from the box, they can actually go to their local pizza place & request a couple of unused boxes. might cost ya $1 or $2 per box, but they'll be grease free.
I need more organization in my life....these are great ideas, so now, I'll go watch part 2! :)

I *always* love your ideas. You are the epitome of organization to me. You and Julie Morgenstern are like the organizing goddesses. But I must admit, often ideas or methods seem unreachable to me, simply because I cannot afford places like the Container store and the like. I always LOVE to see when your more budget friendly ideas come around, like when you use dollar stores, etc. Now THIS video hit home! I clicked it right away and my eyes got large! THIS stuff I can do, and you truly inspire. Please keep ones like this coming, I could eat em up! ;) That lazy susan thing is such a stroke of genius. P.S. I would like to issue you a challenge. I am always having so many of those 12 pack soda boxes around, and having to recycle. I would love to see what ideas you could come up with to reuse this in some sort of organizational system. =)

Definitely doing the Lazy Susan idea! The great thing about that Idea is that you can use different sized pans depending on the height/depth of your kitchen cabinets, which I have trouble with since my kitchen cabinet shelves are very shallow. Thank you!

I love the little containers! I am glad I bought a lot because they don't carry them anymore but I keep looking when I go :) I use some of my boxes with gravel to make rock started garden for cutting or produce that can be re grown
that lazy susan made of cake pans and marbles is GENIUS. I don't even really like the store bought kind because the stuff usually flies off in the spinning. But this is actually better! Love it, and I'm enjoying all your videos. You offer a lot of really practical advice and you are just neurotic enough to be adorable. hahhah! :D Thanks!!

Love the plastic wrap box the most. Because it's pretty wrapped and it holds many boxes inside. It's new and never seen before.
