I just bought a 22 and the torsion bolts were not even tight, one almost close to falling out. I adjusted it close to level, and got an alignment. No need for torsion keys if you have the heavy duty front suspension or what they call camper package. I am a long ways away from upper control arm bump stops. These new trucks have enough adjustment in the bolts for level, a key will not make it ride better, they are only needed to index when you run out of bolt👍 I think it would look good if you put the rt tires on the factory wheel.
I have a 2022 at4 with the camper package springs (not by choice). Wanted to get some 35x12.5r20. But I don’t want the horrible cranked torsion bar ride. Did you truck ride rougher after cranking the bars ?
@@Clearbrowser I have a 2020 dually and I cranked my keys to level the front out with the rear and my ride did get a little stiffer but not horrible I actually prefer how it rides now.
No I didn’t, I drove it for 20k at that setup until I traded it in for a 2022 black diamond. I tow a little heavy and a lot so leveling kits are not a option for me
Tire brand to tire brand not all “35x12.5” are the exact same size. Also wheel offset is huge. Maybe they have adjusted the torsion keys to lift the front, mine are left the way they came from factory.
I was going to say offset I've watched alot myself but most have been with stock wheels or smaller offset. I think this has been the most helpful video for me because I wanted to see how much offset i could honestly get with stock
It's all about offset with gm and chev. They have such a positive offset that it makes it close to impossible to go with a negative offset without trimming and rubbing. I'd stay with a 0 through positive with stock set up.
This is THE video that convinced me to go w/ that wheel spec but a 295/60-20 (34x11.50) and it still rubs, but manageable light zip tie and trimming

Do you ever add a leveling kit or crank the stock keys up any? Post a new updated video!!!

What's the offset on those wheels? They look very negative.
20x10-18
@Cruff16 that's not the offset🤦
@@MMikeHD3904 So you don't know.
The reason they don’t fit is the aftermarket wheels . Stock wheels they will fit
It’s the offset.
I got 35 on my 21 HD, with bit offset, they are perfect, tiny but of rub , but just don't turn full either way
looks bad where you tilted bumper
If I kept my trucks I would cut the bumper, but I get a new one every 6 months and the dealers don’t like cut bumpers for trade-in
that front bumper shimming looks terrible....like its been in an accident
I shimmed it because I don’t keep my trucks, easy to pull the shims and sell out stock
There’s other people that make a video about 35’s on these trucks and they show the turning and it doesn’t rub yet your tires rub…why?
