Can you do like an old school day. Going to a new lake and studying maps before hand and use no electronics. I don't use electronics mostly run tip ups on weed edges, sunkin wood etc. just something different I haven't seen you do before. Love your videos!
Always love watching your videos and you don't have any interrupted crap goin on every 2 or 3 minutes, thanks for sharing your success looking forward to seeing more!!happy new years too you n Mitchell!!!
I'm still living vicariously through your videos, Tom. Just check my local lake that re-froze last week and there's only 2". Please keep the entertaining content coming!
Watched a few videos today and you’ve got my sub! Appreciate you breaking down what you’re doing. This is only my 2nd year ice fishing so I’m still learning plenty!
Fun video, Tom! Thanks for showing your ideas for analyzing and "grinding" it out. Some days are like that and can be a bunch of fun! I like how you keep it simple and straight forward with your set up also. Another nice piece of work!
Electronics sure do help on a new lake compared to old days, but the Kastmaster is a timeless go to lure. Keep hooking them up Tom, Most of us can only watch and wait till safe ice forms up.
Tom: How do you keep the power going to your electronics on multiple days/nights out on the ice? Multiple battery packs? Solar charger? Maybe use a connection to your snowmobile while running place to place? Or maybe a small gas generator? I don't ice fish anymore but I do enjoy your videos very much. Very informative and entertaining. I hope you have continued success and love that you guys have found a way to make a living doing what you love to do. Stay safe. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I seee you were fishing right by my skid house in this video. There is some great spots you overlooked, next time you are on this body of water get ahold of me I'll get you on multi species!!
Thank you so much for the great content and all the information you share with us. I’ve learned so much watching your videos and I always look forward to your videos.
Crazy how you find the exact pattern I've been running there for the last few years on your first ice trip to that lake. Seems like we always have to keep moving to keep catching fish. One thing to note, although im not sure if it' still entirely true is that according the DNR reports, there are larger walleye (but less fish overall) in the Western half of the lake and the Eastern Side has smaller fish but in higher density.
Awesome video Tom. How come you did not use FFS in this video? For an unknown body of water, that would have been my first tool to use to find the fish I am looking for.
Know any good walleye lakes in southeast Wisconsin? Most of the lakes here get a lot of walleye pressure so it’s hard to find a lake to get consistent fish from.
Hey there Tom love your videos buddy I've learned so much from watching your videos and deeply appreciate you for all your hard work on making these videos I know it's not easy at all. My wife and I were wondering if you've ever finished Rainy Lake it's located in International Falls Minnesota
@@TomBoley yeah there's not much videos of walleye fishing rainy lake in the winter. Maybe you could help get some footage out next time you get a chance to come up on rainy
What would you say is a good size range for selectively harvesting walleye? Here in iowa, there's no size limit, but I've only been keeping them between 15 and 20 inches. There are so many walleye in my rivers under 15, and generally, i don't get to catch them over 20 very often. I let all the babies go, and i can't consciously keep anything over 20 because they could grow to be giants very soon. I just want to be doing my part in helping our fisheries grow. There's already so many greedy people out there keeping everything they catch.

My helix 7 with a lithium battery will run 2-3 full days
my flasher will run covered in snow for days and days. Batteries come a long ways since.
Why would you just stop ice fishing?
Just came across you’re content and its absolutely insane!! I can not wait for ice by me!
Thanks for watching! Good luck fishing!
Catching is something, especially keepers. Great to see you break it down, Nice video.

GREAT JOB GUYS ……. YOUR THE BEST.
Thanks for watching
Vermilion!! Love it!
Cool lake ..... I gotta spend more time there
Ha the start of the video I was like wait a min I know this
Good analogy on when to move. You didn’t go back in the summer, why do it the winter!!
1000% spot on with the tullibees. I would eat a smoked carp before I ate a tullibee.
Haha I agree
Run and gun fishing is easy with recent weather. But wait till mid January when Temp dips below 0.
We will grind through it. I love the man versus conditions days.
Be careful on the snowmobile. This ice season is built different.
Boley is the man
Appreciate ya watching!
Awesome video Tom. How come you did not use FFS in this video? For an unknown body of water, that would have been my first tool to use to find the fish I am looking for.
We did use it some but a lot of the fish were in deep big boulders... We used it to find deep rock points.
I think camera Man needs a raise 🤑🤑
Another great video!
Appreciate it!
Sick vid man! 👍
Thanks for watching!

Tom, just wondering why you did not use forward facing sonar? Thx

The tullibees are good smoked 😜😜😜😜
Will this technique work in shallower Wisconsin lakes Like pelican lake. your videos are very informative.
This run and gun style works everywhere. Just gotta find the type of structure the fish are relating to.
The best advice is to ice fish on a good walleye lake
Couldn't agree more!
Nice to see a new lake break down video. Are you still putting content on the walleye now app?
Yes a bunch on the way ... Had a bunch of back end work that had to get done first. Thanks
W A L L E Y E
Mitchell is out there in the sticks talking to himself as he does his duties “I’m not the camera man!” LMAO Another great video guys well done
Thanks for watching man! What the camera man does in the woods is between him and the lord

My honest opinion would be keep the males 14 to 16 inches
I like the idea of that eksimo gear bag you have mounted on the driver side of your storage box. What is that?
It's actually meant to go around a bucket but I cut it down the middle
Nice !

😃👍🏻
Tulibee/whitefish taste exactly how they smell.🤢
Greasy haha
com-on man you lied and click baited me. 16:20 NEW LAKE buy you just said you have been there before
Always funny to hear from the hater section lol
I don't hate. I've watched for years and just pointing out what he said@@ironmule5200
He didn’t say it was a new lake to him. He said it is a guide, a how-to for a new lake.
@@danholtbk7008 Totally how I read it too Dan. Some people just want to hate.
@@ironmule5200 Yeah, that and some people just aren’t very bright. Reading comprehension is not a real difficult skill.
