It’s nice to see you do the slower inland lakes that’s what alot of guys fish and need tips on getting better at we don’t all have the ability to just go to the best places in the country so it’s nice to see just a regular inland lake bite.
Top shelf content as always Tom, that ice sounded like artillery fire on video, love that. I used this method on a SUPER PRESSURED lake in downtown Lake City and had phenomenal fishing away from everyone. Couldn't have done it without the knowledge bombs you've dropped on us. Many thanks
Awesome stuff. Its cool to see the price of underwater cam systems coming down. I just picked up a shitty chinese model, brand new for 50$! Its no aquaview, but when ur just trying to catch a glimps of the bottom structure like you did in the beginning of this video it does the damn job.
Heck yeah bud been down here in southeastern WI/IL border trying to embrace my inner Tom boley we finally got good safe ice this year that last more then 2 weeks and now all the years of your content and seminar are just bleeding out of me so much juicy information and different ideas finally able to utilize it and spend time on the ice!
Your videos/work are so fun to watch! Makes it look easy but we know it isn’t always the case. I’ve been on Lake Minocqua,Squirrel Lake and then Lake Tomahawk in three days. One Pike…one Perch and one LM Bass. That’s it! 😡
Do you burn up sliders on your sled with no snow? Do you run picks in your track? I heard dish soap squirted on sliders will save them from burning up in no snow conditions.
He was definitely using loose drag. He mentioned hearing his drag singing when he was out of the tent, and you see him readjusting it before he sets the hook on his deadstik rod.
So is the simple way to buy an aqua vu to find where the rock and weeds meet then buy live imaging to see them come in? That’s an expensive simple way if so
@ it’s not about me you idiot. He’s reaching thousands of people so I was truly wondering. Walleye fishing is not simple in most scenarios, especially for non advanced fishermen. Stay on the couch big boy
Bro, I just bought a crappy Chinese brand of underwater camera system on Ebay for FIFTY BUCKS. I can't remember buying ANYTHING, besides lures, for FIFTY BUCKS in the past 10 years.
What Aqua View cam were you using…722 or 822 and can you recommend the 722 ? I’m looking to purchase a cam very soon and I’m torn between the MarCum Pursuit HDL because of its record and HDMI out features , or the Aqua View 722/822. Also if your using the 722, please comment on how your integrating the underwater footage in your edits. Gotta Love the sound of “making ice”😮 Southwest Michigan lakes will have good safe ice soon. Thanks for yet Another Great educational and entertaining Epic video.
@ richwatkins7164. As of today, most lakes around grand rapids now have 4-5" and more is definitely coming. Fished Thomas NW of Greenville lake last night, released a pair of 24" and kept some crappie. Finally, the wait is over brother
Pro tip to everyone out there, if you kick the slush away from the top of your hole after drilling it. You don't leave wicked speed bump for the next person to ramp their snow mobile and sleigh off of a few days from now when its covered in snow.
Thanks so much for what you do buddy. Loving the feel of the new footage. Keep crushing it 👏👏👏
It's nice to watch someone who truly has a passion for fishing and it shows in the quality and attitude of your videos. Keep it up!

Love that you preach catch and release. So important! Nice fish 👍
Getting them on that clear ice is always just so sick, plus that sunset at 22:22, cant beat it. Awesome video🔥

Dang that was fantastic! I’m sold on the spot you chose!! Couldn’t see how deep you were!!
Thanks for another great video Tom.
Thanks bunches for sharing this was totally active evening!!
Great tips Tim. Awesome video as always 👍
Gotta love it when you’re on the ice, fishing watching Boley!!
Really like your videos keep it up, brother
Please send Safe Ice 🧊 to NW Michigan …… Great 👍 Trip Tommy 🎣
Awesome and useful video! Thanks

Great video! That's pretty much the deal on that lake, a ton of 15 to 17".
Clear ice is so cool!! What graph are you using?😎
If you have to pick, would you rather be on weeds or on boulders and why?
Target some bass. Great video though. Walleye are definitely my favorite fish.
Hey Tom,
Can you explain your tip up hook set? How you do it? Never seen anyone do it that way!
How deep do you like to ice fish for walleye?
Great vids, thinking about changing to the simms bibs and coat, how do you like them.
Can you do an in depth video of the new mega live 2.0?
Tom - do yo uhave any strategies for targeting Walleye when the temps plummet below zero after some warmer 30 degree days?
Deep water jig n minna
Dad always used small buttons as a line marker on his tip ups
How deep of wTwe
Tom is that the Mega Live 2?
awesome video. what size hook do you prefer for the walleye dead stick?
nevermind. a number 8. 😊
Where do you buy your willow blades? Thanks
Have you ever used bait runner reels for your dead sticks?
Thanks for sharing your awesome content!!
I have not... Been talking about switching to them for years
They are a GAME - Changer For
ALL - Species 🎣🎣🎣
@@brianfeeney9493 what are you using for a bait runner?
Curious why u throw pike back? They are good eating and are detrimental to the other fish species in the lake.
im the same way, if yk how to process them right they're some of the best eating and can help with the overpopulation of the lake
Where are you that you can run so many lines solo?
Do you burn up sliders on your sled with no snow? Do you run picks in your track?
I heard dish soap squirted on sliders will save them from burning up in no snow conditions.
Making me jealous Tom , all I been catching is Dinks in the metro 😭
Tom, what boots/ice cleats are you wearing to walk so well on that glare ice?
What livescope pole are you running? TIA!
@@forddiesel4life tki Cnc carbon fiber pole
put your mic in a plastic bag and put it in icehloe when ice is popping! Coolest sound.
Hey Tom do you leave your bail open with your dead stick? Or is it super low drag?
He was definitely using loose drag. He mentioned hearing his drag singing when he was out of the tent, and you see him readjusting it before he sets the hook on his deadstik rod.
Ok Tom, what ice pole are you using? I use a livescope, but that pole is sweet, and the stock Garmin pole leave a lot to be desired.
I’m fishing lakes that are bowls around 6 feet deep with tons of weeds , that’s the stuff I’d like to find here, super hard to find the fish
Same here. Deepest part of my lake is 9/10 feet. Difficult to find them.
Nice

Don't complain about not having money. Make better life choices.

Thanks for update on ice near Greenville. I’ve fished Lincoln a few times in open water. Never a Walleye.
Tom, love your videos! What model aqua view do you have?
No other shacks, people on that lake? Private lake? Haha.
That's what happens when you get to fish in the middle of the week while everyone else is working. Man, I love being retired🙂.
Aquaview ?you must have changed. You had Marcum.
👍🏻👍🏻
Waiting for the nd video
👏🙏
I can actually taste the fish and chips
