Going through your old videos to help me fight the ice fishing blues waiting on the ice to form around here. My wife got me a big pack of your catch and cook coatings and seasonings for Christmas, been using the Garlic and smoked salt while making dinner and am counting down the days till my son and I are out on the ice getting some fish new years eve! The Livescope is pretty insane. I bought a Helix 7 3 or 4 years ago and was amazed. But that is like a typewriter compared to the Garmin Livescope!!

As per the mapping portion at the beginning, Hummingbird has an app you can use on your phone where you can buy maps for specific lakes and the contours are quite detailed. I use it and I highly recommend it!

Pissed I missed out on the catch and cook. But I haven't even caught a decent size fish to eat this winter on 8 goes. It's beeeeen rough! Crazy how clear that live scope is, instantly could tell it was a walleye from the shape.

Oh dang they closed up shop for a little bit! I bought 2 micro dinner bell early ice, they are walleye magnets. Draw in perch from long distances too!

@@wiscofish3648 I wanna say they are devil tongue or demon tongue. Something like that I haven’t looked into it yet but I will let you know once I look. Supposed to be almost identical. I watch Uncut angling and Clayton shick and those guys hammer fish on the dinner bell also. But I don’t see anyone else using them so just curious if it was still a prototype or if these bad boys are for sale yet.
@@TheBoone23 oh yeah you are right, they are called demon tongues. Look identical to dinnerbell... I was under the impression that dinner bells were an original, unique concept. I wonder which came first, and if one just ripped off the other.

OK, I've never had the chance to actually buy Catch and Cook, but a buddy of mine had some in his shack. We did up Burbot (yes, Burbot!) with Catch and Cook and it was awesome! If it can make Burbot taste good, you know this stuff is good!

Excellent advice. Do your homework and then go with a guide. Growing up my dad would hire us a guide when fishing new locations or species. We were lucky to learn from many great guides. As a guide now myself, my goal is to help teach people so they can go do it on their own.

I have been struggling to get walleyes near home and tried a new spot got out of my old ways and caught my biggest walleye in 10 year 26.5 inches almost 7lbs. Absolutely exhilarating. Regardless she got to see another day
