I really like the idea of cottage in the city. It would be so inviting at the end of the day out in the concrete jungle. Just the right amount of kitsch and classy nostalgia. I like it a lot!

I love the stories behind this place, and the guys energy is so positive and sweet! The bedroom and balcony looked great, told his stories and seemed put together too, I felt as though the main space seemed a little disjointed and could do with some slight adjustments to bring together all his wonderful pieces from different places and styles? Perhaps a different paint colour could achieve that in zones? May just be my taste. Either way he seems SO happy in his space and it shows! ❤️

I purchased a magazine subscription on June 18th and I have yet to receive anything, not even a confirmation email.
I do however, have the order confirmation info I received from the website when I placed and paid for the order.

Yikes, that seems sus. Did you get charged already? You should get compensated somehow, like an extra month subscription or something. Very bad customer care.
@@1001010011001 yes i was charged. I have the order receipt info from their website (order number, payment amount, etc), on my phone. so yikes is right! I'm getting pretty friggin' frustrated with the whole thing!!
by no means though, do I want to rip on H&H. I am a huge fan of their magazine and online content and I've never heard of them being shady before. so i don't want to put out the wrong message about them that could deter people from their company. just so thats clear.
BUT i would like to know where my subscription is and why i haven't heard back from anyone. like why isn't anyone getting back to me?? you'd think I would've gotten some kind of response by now!

UPDATE: yay!! they got back to me. I just received an email from them saying my subscription was confirmed and i'll receive my 1st issue in September. so no worries! :)

I don’t believe I’ve ever heard the word ‘cottage’ so many times in one video, but I have to say I had a smile on my face the entire time! I love your zest and enthusiasm for life and the things that mean the most to you. I love, too, that you appreciate the old things your family owned-so many don’t nowadays. I just knew you had to have a Hudson Bay blanket!! lol
It's really nice, but there is too much going on in a small space, honestly an eye sore.

Haha when the house is extravagant, people complain it's too much. When it's accessible, they say it's trash. Can't please everyone, I suppose. Personally, I think it's missing something like interesting wall paint/wallpaper or art that's up to scale...it just seems very bare and cluttered at the same time.
