Eric was a national treasure...I got to see him play live a few times during this time...Always Amazing...One of the greatest Song-Writers the US has ever produced...He wrote about The South like no other...RIP
I remember watching this when it came on in ‘02. I recorded it on VHS but I’m so glad to see it here all these years later. Damn, time flies - so sad that he’s gone now.
Long ago, 1976-1979, I would regularly go to Anderson Fair in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston to see Eric perform. Fond memories. Goodnight Irene.

Loved Eric Taylor. Hosted him for a house concert a few years before he passed. Such a wonderful, talented man.
God Bless Eric Taylor

Thank you so much for posting this - incredibly talented songwriter and musician. RIP Eric ♥️
Great to see this! We enjoyed seeing Eric at Anderson Fair around 1985-7.
Amazing artist! He blends life lessons in music that goes deep inside me.
Love Eric, saw him many times in concert. He was great
He sure was. He seems nervous here. I love his songs. Wish i could have seen him in person.
Do you have Michelle Shocked and Strength in Numbers on Austin City Limits in 1990?
