This is a beautiful heartfelt song. Oh, so sad - both Eric & Nanci now gone. May you be together in heaven singing with the angels..... RIP - Nanci Griffith and Eric Taylor..
Eric Taylor (Born: September 25, 1949 - Died: March 9, 2020) was an American singer-songwriter from Texas. He is known for his storytelling style, combining spoken word with anecdotal songs to create a theater-style performance. In addition to Taylor's nine solo releases, his songs have been recorded by Nanci Griffith, Lyle Lovett, Peter Cooper and many others.
Love love love love it! Next time be sure and invite me Susan and Eric. I could get drinks for people or something. :) Great CD, my only complaint is it's not long enough. Such a wonderful talent. Just waiting for you to come back to IA so I get the chance to listen again in person. Your friend, Loni
What a treat to watch this! Thanks so much for the opportunity.

Just once in a lifetime artists like Eric&Nanci come around - So glad I was around to
hear/see them on disc, cd and video
A storyteller and a great musician. Got to see him a couple of times Anderson's Fair, Cactus Cafe.
Lyle Lovett described it perfectly about being a great songwriter.
