Thank you for this lovely channel. I just want to let you know you are doing a great job of motivating indoor farmers to use Aerogarden successfully. Please make more videos on overcoming aphid infestation. This is the no one concern of many indoor farmers using aero garden. Thank you
I like how we were able to see aerogarden vs outside plant comparison in this one. It's pretty amazing how long you were able to keep harvesting when the plants got so tall and were out of the light for a lot of the plant. I bet you could take some sucker cuttings and put them in rockwool to start over faster than new seeds.
I love all your experiments! I just bought a Bounty Aerogarden and I am looking forward to growing some goodies in the Winter months since outdoor gardening is out of the question right now. We live in PA so we are in the middle of Winter with temps in the 20s!
use some tribus and hydroguard in the reservor. you will be absolutely amazed at the quality and quantity of your crops. oh and some terpinator. it makes the flavor even better
Excellent video! I wasn’t surprised though at the crazy growth cause it was a vine. It’s good to know though if your patient you can figure out a way to manage the wines! You inspired me to try a vine inside now! I have additional mars hydro lights I can easily string up to provide additional lighting if nessesary! Or just prune a lot more too Thanks again for the video it’s the first I’ve seen with the vine tomatoes
Thanks for sharing this. It's interesting that they took so much longer than 42 days. Also interesting that changing the water helped. How do you deal with water changes when a plant gets big? My ground cherry plant is HUGE, and I'm thinking I really should change out the water and trim the roots, but it's so big and unwieldy, it seems like it will be near impossible to handle.
They started off looking light starved the led on that model is pretty week so its understandable once they grew a bit though and got closer they took off, GJ "the same reason you wont get them in ripe 42 days"
It is normal with some tomato varieties, especially '42 day' variety. For other tomto varieties, if older leaves are drying up, it's still normal. If young leaves are drying up, it could be over/less nutrition. Try dumping the water and start over with fresh water and nutrients.
The 42 days is from transplant not from germination. That confuses a lot of people. You can basically start the 42 days from when you transplanted to your garden.
Wow! That's amazing how much they can grow on an aerogarden! Love your experiments! Keep them coming!
love your videos!!!
Thank you.

I really enjoy your channel as I have bought an aerogarden 2 months ago 😀

Thank you. I wish you all the good luck with indoor gardening in Aerogardens. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as your outdoor gardening.

Hi. What are the tastiest/best tomatoes you’ve tried in hydroponics?
Tiny Tim tomatoes are the best and most successful in terms of taste as well as productivity.
@@aerogardenexperiments THANK YOU!! 😊 I’m starting some TODAY!
I start mine yesterday.
Can we just let grow two sprouts in 1 pod or 1 need to be remove from it?
Bigger plants like tomatoes, peppers, etc. must be 1 plant per pod. Smaller plants like Cilantro, basil, etc. can be 2-3 per pod.

I just lift up the grow deck and swap the bowl with a similar one. Then take out the bowl, clean it, and swap it back.
@@aerogardenexperiments great idea, thanks!

I tried tomatoes in my Aerogarden. The leaves are curling up and drying out. What am I doing wrong?

can you list the seeds. I dont like small cheery tomotos.. I need cooking tomotoes. is your 42 day tomotoes organin non gmo seeds

So his tomatoes must be indeterminate because mine didn't grow wild like that
Interesting... may I know where did you buy the seeds?
42 days means from planting out in the garden so since the seed pack recommends 8-12 weeks indoors and then outside it would be more like 5 months
