Just a hint. Tomatoes pollinate themselves. You don't need to use brush. Wind from a fan will help. What I do is when flowers are open just tap the vine branch to bounce a little and pollen will drop onto flower part and pollinate I get lots of tomatoes and that's all I do. Hope you don't mind me saying this.
Great vid ! One suggestion I might make is to not use the aerogarden food. It does not have enough of each nutrient component. I use General Hydroponics Maxigro food! Also you might want to look into a pH meter! As long as you keep it btw 5.5-6.5 pH, you should be good! If you find your pH too high or low then just use a pH up or down solution. I also add a calcium magnesium supplement (again I use the general hydroponics brand- CalMag). To prevent root rot I use southern AG bacillus amyloliquefaciens which is a fraction of the price of hydroguard and is more concentrated.
Excellent video! I have read that the "Golden Harvest" tomato is actually "Yellow Canary" from the Little Birdy Series. I've grown a lot of micros outdoors, and the best tasting I've found is Aztek. It is also a yellow/gold tomato. So I want to try it in my Aero setup.
Great video. I grow with hydroponics in a greenhouse plus my Aerogardens in the house. You are the first TH-camr that I've seen check the nutrient level with a meter. Great job.👍
Excellent video! Thank you! I'm growing the same ones and I have the same exact bottle of CalMag. My mighty mini had some blossom end rot on a few tomatoes but after one dose of the calmag I didn't get any more! Thanks again and happy growing!
My tomatoes in the aerogarden were looking miserable so I came here and saw your plants were very similar and how you added more nutrients, I'm going to try increasing the nutrients as well, thanks!
i used seeds from store bought tomatoes they sprouted already they took 3 days, I am growing those small dark mini kumato, for some reason I dont see the big ones in the store anymore I used to love them so when I seen tiny ones I had to try in case they stop growing those too!
Another thing to consider is your use of distilled water. The calcium in hard or city water is bioavailabile hydroponiclly to plants. The reason they say to use distilled or even half distilled is some people have really hard water. For example if you had hard water with a 500 ppm and were growing lettuce with a target of 500ppm you have no room to add other nutrients.
what is the "red" version of harvest bush type tomatoe? i bought areogarden and the red tomatoe was actually golden yellow and i transplanted outside in spring and it flourished ! plump flat cherry in size . Where did you buy CalMag? my garden store or HD store does not have it. Amazon?
Love how you documented this, a like tip, you may want to remove diseased/yellowed leaves and fruit as soon as you notice they aren't at their best. Also consider trimming the non fruiting foliage and use an electric toothbrush to help pollination :)
My gold harvest cherry tomatoes are at least 27 days old and they're no more than two or three inches tall. Yours are like 10 times larger than mine. I wonder if it's a difference in temperature is the room you're growing in much warmer? Mine is getting down to the low 60s

Thanks for that. I was wondering.
I didn’t pollinate mine, and I did not grow as many tomatoes as I did, when I did pollinate myself
It isn't necessary to pollinate. Pollinating does create more abundance.
congrats on your harvest brother! enjoy the fruits of your labour!!🍅
I definitely will!

Thank you for breaking this up into chapters! I really enjoyed following your journey with tomatoes in the aerogarden.
I so wish I had watched this before I put my tomato in my new aero garden Farm. Thank you for doing this.
Thank you for taking the time to watch!
Awesome, watching the growth of your tomatoes in the Aero Garden! Gives a great idea!!😊
Absolutely beautiful video, me, my wife and step son thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll done.
Thanks, dude!

Most detailed video I have seen on TH-cam!

Its defiantly the nutrient amount, I had some tomatoes and all of them withered away because the ppm was too low. I am going to try again.
Thank you for your video, I’m a newbie and truly appreciate the info! Please do some more aero garden vids if you are growing anything else 😊
Thank you Jeremey for this great video. Very informative as well as some of the comments from other viewers. I am going to give tomatoes a try!
Fantastic video! Thank you for taking the time and effort to record your process. I'm new and learning. This was helpful!
This is wonderful, you are truly brilliant. I never would have thought to use bonzi wire. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you for your explanation it’s helped me immensely 😊

Excellent video. Thanks for sharing 👍.
Thank you for such good info and for the time lapse in growing stages youre the best
My pleasure!
It's beautiful.
Thanks for ideas!

Have the plants still been fruiting? Curious how long they can keep going

He mentioned about all of that
How did you prune the plants? Just snip with scissors?
Wonderful!

It's possible. My room temperature was always around 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Thanks for this!!
I double the food but still see yellow leaves. I see tomatoes popping up but the leaves are spotting yellow
Thank you
Gotsta get an Aerogarden 360!
Awesome video!! How do the tomatoes taste??
Slightly sweet and full of juice. Still has an unmistakable tomato taste.
Awesome video is this worth the money
Mine are not full and bushy. They are high stalks. What????
I saw 3 baby tomatoes when you said 2. lol
What is the name brand of your ppm and ph tester
HoneForest. It's about $15 on Amazon.
I'm noticing and don't understand why my lights on my AeroGarden are taking about 30mins longer than usual to come on now.
Have you had a power outage lately? I've noticed my Aerogarden's clock changes even if the power blips out for a second.
@@JeremyHill Thanks for responding! Not to my knowledge unless it happened overnight while I was sleeping.
Aerogarden has instructions for restarting the light-on time by pressing and holding the light button for a few seconds.
I think you have too many plants try having only two plants 14:35
My seeds rotted and never sprouted. I don't know what I did wrong. I thought I followed Instructions.
Sometimes the seeds are just bad and not your fault. Aerogarden should replace them for you if you contact them.
