- I woke up hungover in Venezuela's most notorious hood in a Venezuelan girls home. Petare was once the most dangerous city in the world with over 100 murders each weekend. Things have cooled off a bit but the dangerous favela in Caracas Venezuela is still a place to be respected. I woke up and explored the hood to see how things really are on a typical Sunday. The Venezuelan girls I met the previous night gave me a delicious Venezuelan breakfast as well and a tour of the hood.

As a Venezuelan, I feel so proud of how nice people are in my country. My guy crashed at this place and everybody was incredible with him. They had a polar fría and arepita ready in the morning when we woke up, and fresh handmade empanadas!

I was born & raised in montreal, canada. my mother is trinidadian so i would visit her country during carnival to hang out with my relatives every winter. during one trip i hop in a taxi from my grandmother's village to head into town. the last passenger to get into the car is this BEAUTIFUL woman with an athletic type physique. now, trinidad & tobago has so many gorgeous women that i didn't even pay her much mind to be honest lol
We arrive in town and the driver demands payment from us SUPER aggressive for no reason. the woman chastises him about his bad attitude and i'm just sitting there entertained by all the drama. lol when it was my turn to pay--the woman raises her arm to block my hand and says "it's okay...i got it." and pays for the both of us. i damn near had whiplash the way i turned to look at her in shock when she did that! LMAO
We get out the taxi and begin to have a conversation. i'm still thrown off by this beautiful stranger's nice gesture, but i did my best not to show it. anyway, at some point she takes a pen & paper from her purse and takes down the # of the local phone i was using. SHE NEVER CALLS THE REMAINDER OF MY TRIP 🙃🙃🙃

I've been together with a Mexican girl for almost 6 months now, and all I can say is, wow, I never imagined someone from a totally different culture, a totally different continent, to be this respectful and caring, she is totally different from the women here, women in the Netherlands, are, not that hospitable, my girlfriend is totally different from all of the women I met here, and I must say, I LOVE IT, meeting her also gave me a lot more respect to the Latin Americans as a whole, I absolutely love Latinos and Latinas for who they are as people, all so warm kind and caring

I just started watching your videos! I love them! I think I'm bettering my Spanish haha. I actually live in Madrid Spain but I'm from Scotland. Love seeing how it really is in places like Venezuela the people are so damn nice massive hearts I hope their country gets the freedom and economic stability it deserves and through that process hopefully more peace. They do not deserve to live in fear..not being able to walk up a certain street or go round a certain corner is just ridiculous... I hope the narcos or gangs or whatever sort themselves out and grow the f up and help people instead of just making it a plain selfish misery for the communities.
