Wow, this brings back memories of the month I spent in Thailand. These vas are used essentially as small buses, and they really can be a party inside sometimes! The drivers have no fear of speed, and little fear of oncoming traffic. Forget skydiving, if you want an adrenaline rush just ride cross-country in a Thai bus or van!
I love the Hiace. It's one of the best-built vans. Bulletproof, great engines and flexibility and because of how popular it is; there's plenty of spares on the market.
I fell inlove with that van! the sound system, the body kit and everything is just amazing! where can I get one with all those add-on's? and a high roof like that?
we have toyota hiace its a commuter too but it dosent look like that that one is for vip but we have many accessories in our hiace so i love best van ever......!!!!!!!!
I believe you can special order one from the Philippines, I know they have left handed vehicles there and these should be there as well. You can always check ;)
we used to owned a 1982 hi ace commuter diesel, we had a serious overheating problem with that van not to mention those heated seat since the engine is beneath the driver and passenger's seat
Nice vid and van) However, I don't actually like the roof decor inside) I have been a passenger in those vans in Thailand countlessly) What I do like in this particular one is the exterior kit. MAkes Hiace much nicer. Also they easily do 140 km\h on a free highway:)
Is your Hiace dual airbag? My Toyota Hiace GL Grandia in the Philippines has dual airbags. Mine is the 2012 model. It has a turbo-charger installed and ABS. BTW, I love the dual exhaust of your Hiace. It's so cool. Mine is a single exhaust. :(

Hiace has 2 type stock Hiace and Hiace commuter in Indonesia but sadly why the engine is still the 2.5 2KD-FTV 102hp unlike Innova they get 2.4 2GD-FTV and don't have automatic transmission, but thailand have 2.5 and 2.7 they are Slow...

Here in the Philippines, that van is called the hiace lxv super grandia which is only meant for rich bussinessman running a brokerage comoany
