I get very stressed when packing for a trip. I worry that I'm going to forget something. I came up with a solution that has really helped me. I use 3 shelves in my closet. On one shelf, I have things I bring on every trip. If I take something out of a toiletry bag, I leave a note so I know exactly what I need. The second shelf is for beach & summer vacations - hat, snorkel mask, etc. The third shelf is for city & winter trips - gloves, warm hat, etc. I also have a small bin on the city shelf for international travel like adapter plugs. We just took a 3 week vacation & packing was much easier.
I do, too. I’m Cabin Crew though, so it’s all in a day’s work for me!! 😊 When I need to replenish something in my bag, I put a note in my luggage so when I get home I’ll replace it immediately. I also carry the same clothes on my layovers and change them up based on the season. It’s nice because I know what is in my bag at all times.

I love collecting vintage suitcases and I use them for storage, so I have all my travel accessories in one of those. This particular one has interior pockets, so I can sort things easier. The main part of the suitcase holds the bulkier items like packing cubes, my purifying water bottle, Trtl neck brace, converters, etc. I also have a bag of bags, much like your basket of bags. Little zippered bags make great gifts and I have received and bought so many cute ones over the years, that I use to organize smaller items by category. I love your tackle boxes!

I never unpack. I don't take stuff out of my suitcases.i have travel clothes. My husband says it's scary how fast I can get ready for a trip. I have a master list that I double-check and I am good to go.

I keep packing cubes packed with underwear, socks, pj’s,down packable down jacket and scarf. For basic, tooth brush, dental floss, hair brushes, shower cap and slippers. When packing just add clothes for the seasons destination, also umbrella 😃.
I keep my cosmetics and toiletries in Lug Trolley cases and refill everything when we return from a trip. Overflow items go in a plastic bin with trays to organize. We don't travel much by plane, maybe once a year. Our other trips are road trips 1 to 3 hour distance. Would live to see more of your bin with the different bags. I just live your videos!❤

Ooh la la! Love these tackle boxes for travel storage. My system is similar except I use clear plastic shoe boxes and I don’t have nearly as much kitchen travel gear. I have grouped & labeled each box by: hair, body care, dental care, face care, wardrobe, medical/first aid, and unused/new empty containers. (If I have for example an empty hair conditioner bottle, I put it in the hair box so it doesn’t get used for a face product.) I could use a few more for tech, food/snacks and empty bags but I do have those easily accessible and grouped close by. I have one clear zip bag that is a fully stocked grab & go with basic travel toiletry staples that are carry-on friendly sizes that forms the basis of all trips. Inside that bag are smaller labeled ziploc bags for anything that could leak or needs to be pulled out for airport security. I restock the travel bag as soon as I return from a trip - from my plastic shoe box supplies. I stock my tech support bag before each trip depending on what I am taking / doing but it’s all grouped in one place in my flat so it’s quick to pick & pack cords / battery packs etc. If there is an item that I use daily but don’t have a back up of, or something in the fridge to take out last minute…and want to make sure I don’t forget it/them, the night before I leave I put a sticky note on my bathroom mirror reminding me to pack it. I absolutely love your system - lucky grandkids!!
I love those clear plastic "fishing tackle" boxes. I am amazed at how thoroughly organized you are. Like you say though, you have been travelling for 40 years so it is not surprising that you have everything so well figured out. Basically, all I do is replenish anything that I have used up on a trip so that I have that item available for the next trip. I live in a small apartment so I don't really have the room to store a lot of extras. The one thing that I find helps me the most is making a list a week or so before. I sit down and go over in my head all of the things that I think I will need to take and write them down according to categories. I add to it as I think of more things to bring. I keep the list on the wall above my desk and then, as I am packing, I check off the items one by one. That way I never forget anything important. I also stick a note on the inside of my door with last minute things that I need to remember not to forget like turning off or on certain lights, locking my filing cabinet, turning off the air conditioner or any fans that don't need to be on, etc.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how organized this is and love that it’s all in 1 spot. Just be mindful of the expiry dates on some of the stuff (ie toothpastes) But thank you for sharing this great video
Thanks for sharing how you organize your travel stuff. I have an Ikea cabinet in my closet and keep about 10 flip top bins from the dollar store with all my travel size stuff, labeled as bath & body, teeth, hair & nails, laundry, eye & ears, wipes, chargers...etc. I try to keep it contanied to those small boxes. And I keep a toiletry bag packed.
I use a double sided hanging jewelry organizer. It has larger pockets at the bottom. I also removed some of the divider seams to make the pocket wider.

I have a three tier drawer system that I'm not really using....I think I'm going to take the wheels off and put it on a shelf in my closet to store my travel items that don't have a real home. They just kind of are all over the place. I loved the tackle box idea too!!

I have a very similar travel storage system, but it's not as neat and organized, lol. I have several clear plastic storage tubs of various sizes where I put bottles, wallets and pouch type things, slings and fanny packs, packing cubes, and other miscellaneous travel accessories. Then, oh the backpacks! I built a second layer of shelves in my closet just to hold all my backpacks over the years. And this is after giving away just as many. But, this goes back to when I was still working and commuting by train and I was always looking for the perfect backpack for not only work, but travel (for carry on). I use the ones from Evergoods all the time now. They go under the seat in front of me and pass the size test of European airlines (they're about 24 to 28 liters). I like the tackle boxes and I've used those in the past and have a couple in my garage with nuts and bolts in them, but from when I was an art student in college and used them for paints and brushes. My clear tub method works Ok for me and I can keep track of everything well enough. I keep my over the counter medicines in a separate tub and I rotate that quite frequently, because I'm always writing the expiration dates on the bubble foil wraps or other packaging and throw them out when they expire. Other wipes and things I don't use as much, but I started throwing a package of baby wipes into my luggage for all around needs and it lasts well over a week long or 10 day trip. I also crush a cheap roll of paper towels at the top of my luggage because in Europe they don't have any of those (just tissues, which I don't want to use up). As others have said about just leaving things in their suitcase for the next trip, I don't go that far, but I do much like your top drawer in the bedroom concept where I keep the things I know I'll use again for the next trip in a bin as sort of a check list so I won't forget them the next time. I also have a spreadsheet check list, but every trick helps. I seem to always forget one or two things. When I go on a trip and I realize I forgot something, I'm actually glad, because that's usually the only thing I forgot.
I use packing cubes with cosmetics in one cube at the ready. I like organizing outfits in each cube. I like the way you have organized and will consider using it thanks

Your organization is awesome. I've learned a lot. Not ready for too much flying but your tips help with car travel as well. We bring a car organizer that we take on our trips. When we arrive at our hotel we bring it to our room. Some of the items we bring is a travel drip coffee maker and our favorite ground coffee. Another essential is a travel candle and lighter. A lovely scent is essential in some hotel rooms.
I love the idea of a dedicated travel drawer! Space is a serious issue in my place. I make do with stuffing everything into a carry on bag when I'm not travelling. I have been looking forward to the video of your tackle box travel organization. You know me, I just love me some good organization porn!! Mine are not this fancy, I have things categorized in stackable plastic ammo crates, with different things within it in ziplocs (like my collection of little kits from Potty Packs, which has a great selection of different little pocket sized kits for a variety of purposes. In addition to their initial and signature Potty Packs, I most often use their Parks Pack (good for music festivals and powwows) and Winter Pack. BTW, I noticed you do not yet have the double sided glasses case that has been a big thing on travel blogs lately. I keep my distance glasses in one side (in case I lose a lens or at the end of the day when I take my lenses out) and sunglasses in the other side. My reading glasses are the tiny wallet size and folding keychain readers. The basket on the floor system is great, IFF you don't have mice!!! I lost so much during the mouse infestation. They just love chewing up silicon pouches and bags!! Those popper plates, etc are great. I just got back from my powwow travels, and found my Sea to Summit X set was perfect for hotel room cooking and dining.

Great organization skills!!! I am packing the bare minimum lately… It does require lots of previous planning (and sometimes I get lazy trying every outfit combination to make sure it was actually works) but worth it.

Wow Eunice, as someone who considers themselves organized… I’ve got nothing on you! That’s not just next level… that’s unbelievable! Really nice and decorated so well. My, only real trick or method is keeping a peak design toiletry pouch packed and ready to go at all times. Also, I keep my EDC organized so that I can simply remove a few items easily that aren’t suitable for flights. Otherwise everything goes. And I have those waterproof pouches I showed you which are pre-packed for overnighters or flights for like travel medicine kits and such. I think I showed you. Have a great week!

Great video!! I keep all of my travel items in a large carry on bag that I no longer use, with the exception of scarves and items that are washable (that I may use while taking day trips).
I have gear all over the house. I do have an empty dresser, hum. I love the little spice bottles. I need to find a small multi tool without a knife like the one you carry on the outside of your bag. So many great ideas!

I keep most things in my backpack. When I return from a trip, I replenish what needs to be and then I’m ready to go. The things I don’t take with me every time are in a bin in the closet. I just reorganized all of it!
I have an IKEA bed that raises up to store underneath. That is where I keep all luggage and travel accessories in bins and containers! Cruise items are in separate bin from other travel options. My daughter talked me into thinning the items. A couple of carry on bags went to Goodwill that I haven’t used in a long time!,,😌

This was an amazing set up for organizing your many areas of travel that we all get to enjoy via your videos. My system is pretty basic, but I had a red roller bag that got updated with one that was a spinner and slightly smaller, so I just use zip lock bags of different sizes and keep anything travel related in that suitcase. It's never used as a suitcase, so the stuff I don't use for a particular trip just stays inside it, close to the actual luggage.
@@deedsh6280 I used to keep everything in Ziploc bags and in other bags or boxes, but it was so hard to see everything and I kept taking plastic bags out to see what was there and then then having a hard time putting them back in. Of course I have a lot of stuff and being an influencer on social media means I’m always trying out new things or getting things from so I have a lot of stuff to organize.😊 thank you for sharing your idea with us!

I keep all my compression packing cubes, luggage tags and straps, and luggage scale in our suitcases. In my closet, I have a shelf with a couple of portable safes, phone/ipad stands, stuffable neck pillows, a variety of reusable zip top bags and our “spots.” These would be small pop up open cubes and flat leather squares that snap at the corners to form valets so each family member has a place to put their eyeglasses, hotel key, jewelry, etc when at a hotel room. I also keep a large flat bin on the floor of my closet (under some hanging clothes), which has individually wrapped wipes (Clorox, deodorant, personal care, alcohol swabs, etc.), refillable spray bottles, refillable airless pump bottles, and travel containers. I need to do a better job of wrangling up various pouches and small bags; right now some are in the bathroom and some in my closet. All portable kitchen items are in the wet bar cabinetry in our basement since much of it can be used for guests who stay for a while. I try not to have a lot of overstock toiletries and first aid or the items will expire before I have a chance to use them and then I’ve stored them for nothing. This was a fun video. Always interesting to see how others stay organized.

Pretty much the way you do is pretty perfect it's hard to stay organized but I have a similar system just scattered because I have no closets but when I do go through I try to do every 6 months or every year I do a alot or rotation and tend to finish the older products even if they don't work for me instead of throwing away I don't like to waste especially if I paid a pretty penny great video

I love your stuff. I thought I was a bit of a hoarder of useful items but I have nothing on you. The main difference is that many of the things I use are already in my day to day handbag or kitchen etc and are in daily use. I don’t have separate make up etc. I only have a couple of boxes of small bottles, travel size toiletries, wipes and so on. I should probably also add that I’m in the Uk and it doesn’t seem as easy or usual to have all those sachets of individual wipes for different uses
You have much nice stuff ♥️. I know I'd be having a hard time knowing what to choose for a trip, given so much choice. My overseas and flight travel gadgets live in my carryon suitcase. Travel toiletries in a box in the bathroom. And food related things in a picnic basket, in a closet. I carry some other things daily.

I bought those 3-in-1 toothbrushes and used one last week for my trip. I agree, they’re great! They’re going to replace my Colgate Wisps. I love how we can evolve with each trip, and better products are created. I am still perfecting my travel storage system, but my preference is clear pullout shoe drawers with clear zip pouches that I keep on my bathroom shelves. I also like to have things visual. I always want to see everything in detail because you give such great ideas. 😁 P.S. I also think those Olay melts will be better than the cloths. I saw a commercial on the Olympics with one of the women’s gymnasts. I’m sold! And I also want to try a Korean green tea powder face wash.
@@sassypineapple those three and one toothbrushes are so great that if I was just going for a weekend trip that’s all I would bring! They’re reusable and they’re softer on my gums than the Colgate wisps! I agree with the travel things evolving! I like that new things are coming out that are making a lot more convenient💕😊
@@rebeccablashock3829 yes! Compression cubes are a great thing and all of my packing cubes are in a duffel bag in the corner of the closet and if you look closely in the video, you’ll see a couple of duffel bag stuff there and they’re full of other things that are used for packing my luggage😊

I only get to travel by plane around three times per year so I keep things I need on the plane in my plane backpack and the majority of things I’ll need on my holiday in my suitcase. I liked the insulated sandwich bags you showed. For my upcoming trip I need to bring snacks for my daughter who has diabetes and an insulated bag would be helpful.

You make such great videos!!! I always learn so much. I have a couple of checklists that I have. One is for things I always bring, and the other is for things that are particular for that trip. I keep some things packed already like my hygiene kit, my electronics kit, my entertainment kit, my first aid kit, my survival kit, my edc kit, etc. Those things I keep in my travel backpack (which I refill when I get home and check before I leave, just in case).

I have a few bins and baskets but you have inspired me to refine my categories. One thing that i find challenging is toiletries. I don't want to leave moisturizer and serums in those little containers for months so i finish them off, wash and dry them and store them with their tops off so they don't get moldy. It is laborious but i use many things that might go bad (sunscreen, vitamin c serum, etc). Still looking for an easier system.
Yeah, I did a TH-cam short a few weeks ago about how when you get back from vacation you should use up all of the toiletries and makeup that you put in little containers so that they don’t get bacteria. However, if you do travel a lot and you’re using it, I think it’s OK to leave it in some of those refillable containers.😊

I bought the little fan after seeing yours. My truck doesn't have A/C! We don't travel a lot, so it's not practical to store things like you but maybe when we retire!
I checked out the craft bins when you said they're not expensive...$21.76US. Almost $30Cdn. Not my definition of "not expensive" for the number you have, but man, it looks amazing to open those doors and see everything so organized!
Also, expiry dates...I was saving toothpastes from the dentist and notice the EXP was quite soon. Same thing for a lot of my supplements/ibuprofen etc. You have a lot of things there, how can you use it all before expiry?

I’m certain things I don’t worry about the expiration date. For example, toothpaste, I have four years and years use expired toothpaste. I’ve never had a problem however expired medication gets tossed and refilled.😊

Makes sense that you would have a way to sort out inventory so you can access items easily for different kinds of trips. I have some extra dresser drawers that I use for travel storage. Don’t get me wrong, I love your channel and the idea behind it - but - this video was an example of too much consumption. I can’t imagine all is used before expiring. That said, I would like to see a video on what you find yourself actually selecting the most often for your travels. Despite the destination. Admittedly I am a less is more kind of traveler, I like a light load. It’s less to be responsible for and less stressful. But again, I like your channel - would just like to know what in your organizational arsenal gets your attention the most. Thanks.

But as you can imagine being an influencer on social media, I do get a lot of supplies either that I buy myself and try, or are sent to me by brands and sometimes I don’t get a chance to try them all out all at once, but I like to keep them so if I find something, I really like I’d like to share with you guys.. everybody has this stuff, but it is kind of nice to know that even if you have a lot of stuff, there is a way to organize it😊

I get very stressed when packing for a trip. I worry that I'm going to forget something. I came up with a solution that has really helped me. I use 3 shelves in my closet. On one shelf, I have things I bring on every trip. If I take something out of a toiletry bag, I leave a note so I know exactly what I need. The second shelf is for beach & summer vacations - hat, snorkel mask, etc. The third shelf is for city & winter trips - gloves, warm hat, etc. I also have a small bin on the city shelf for international travel like adapter plugs. We just took a 3 week vacation & packing was much easier.

I do, too. I’m Cabin Crew though, so it’s all in a day’s work for me!! 😊 When I need to replenish something in my bag, I put a note in my luggage so when I get home I’ll replace it immediately. I also carry the same clothes on my layovers and change them up based on the season. It’s nice because I know what is in my bag at all times.
A clear over-the-door shoe organizer inside a closet works great for travel toiletries, electronics, and other small things.

I love collecting vintage suitcases and I use them for storage, so I have all my travel accessories in one of those. This particular one has interior pockets, so I can sort things easier. The main part of the suitcase holds the bulkier items like packing cubes, my purifying water bottle, Trtl neck brace, converters, etc. I also have a bag of bags, much like your basket of bags. Little zippered bags make great gifts and I have received and bought so many cute ones over the years, that I use to organize smaller items by category. I love your tackle boxes!

I keep packing cubes packed with underwear, socks, pj’s,down packable down jacket and scarf. For basic, tooth brush, dental floss, hair brushes, shower cap and slippers. When packing just add clothes for the seasons destination, also umbrella 😃.

I keep my cosmetics and toiletries in Lug Trolley cases and refill everything when we return from a trip. Overflow items go in a plastic bin with trays to organize. We don't travel much by plane, maybe once a year. Our other trips are road trips 1 to 3 hour distance. Would live to see more of your bin with the different bags. I just live your videos!❤

Ooh la la! Love these tackle boxes for travel storage.
My system is similar except I use clear plastic shoe boxes and I don’t have nearly as much kitchen travel gear. I have grouped & labeled each box by: hair, body care, dental care, face care, wardrobe, medical/first aid, and unused/new empty containers. (If I have for example an empty hair conditioner bottle, I put it in the hair box so it doesn’t get used for a face product.) I could use a few more for tech, food/snacks and empty bags but I do have those easily accessible and grouped close by.
I have one clear zip bag that is a fully stocked grab & go with basic travel toiletry staples that are carry-on friendly sizes that forms the basis of all trips. Inside that bag are smaller labeled ziploc bags for anything that could leak or needs to be pulled out for airport security. I restock the travel bag as soon as I return from a trip - from my plastic shoe box supplies.
I stock my tech support bag before each trip depending on what I am taking / doing but it’s all grouped in one place in my flat so it’s quick to pick & pack cords / battery packs etc. If there is an item that I use daily but don’t have a back up of, or something in the fridge to take out last minute…and want to make sure I don’t forget it/them, the night before I leave I put a sticky note on my bathroom mirror reminding me to pack it.

I love those clear plastic "fishing tackle" boxes. I am amazed at how thoroughly organized you are. Like you say though, you have been travelling for 40 years so it is not surprising that you have everything so well figured out. Basically, all I do is replenish anything that I have used up on a trip so that I have that item available for the next trip. I live in a small apartment so I don't really have the room to store a lot of extras. The one thing that I find helps me the most is making a list a week or so before. I sit down and go over in my head all of the things that I think I will need to take and write them down according to categories. I add to it as I think of more things to bring. I keep the list on the wall above my desk and then, as I am packing, I check off the items one by one. That way I never forget anything important. I also stick a note on the inside of my door with last minute things that I need to remember not to forget like turning off or on certain lights, locking my filing cabinet, turning off the air conditioner or any fans that don't need to be on, etc.

I have an Ikea cabinet in my closet and keep about 10 flip top bins from the dollar store with all my travel size stuff, labeled as bath & body, teeth, hair & nails, laundry, eye & ears, wipes, chargers...etc. I try to keep it contanied to those small boxes. I use a double sided hanging jewelry organizer. It has larger pockets at the bottom. I also removed some of the divider seams to make the pocket wider.

I have a three tier drawer system that I'm not really using....I think I'm going to take the wheels off and put it on a shelf in my closet to store my travel items that don't have a real home. They just kind of are all over the place. I loved the tackle box idea too!!

I have a very similar travel storage system, but it's not as neat and organized, lol. I have several clear plastic storage tubs of various sizes where I put bottles, wallets and pouch type things, slings and fanny packs, packing cubes, and other miscellaneous travel accessories. Then, oh the backpacks! I built a second layer of shelves in my closet just to hold all my backpacks over the years. And this is after giving away just as many. But, this goes back to when I was still working and commuting by train and I was always looking for the perfect backpack for not only work, but travel (for carry on). I use the ones from Evergoods all the time now. They go under the seat in front of me and pass the size test of European airlines (they're about 24 to 28 liters).
I like the tackle boxes and I've used those in the past and have a couple in my garage with nuts and bolts in them, but from when I was an art student in college and used them for paints and brushes. My clear tub method works Ok for me and I can keep track of everything well enough. I keep my over the counter medicines in a separate tub and I rotate that quite frequently, because I'm always writing the expiration dates on the bubble foil wraps or other packaging and throw them out when they expire. Other wipes and things I don't use as much, but I started throwing a package of baby wipes into my luggage for all around needs and it lasts well over a week long or 10 day trip. I also crush a cheap roll of paper towels at the top of my luggage because in Europe they don't have any of those (just tissues, which I don't want to use up).
As others have said about just leaving things in their suitcase for the next trip, I don't go that far, but I do much like your top drawer in the bedroom concept where I keep the things I know I'll use again for the next trip in a bin as sort of a check list so I won't forget them the next time. I also have a spreadsheet check list, but every trick helps. I seem to always forget one or two things. When I go on a trip and I realize I forgot something, I'm actually glad, because that's usually the only thing I forgot.

Your organization is awesome. I've learned a lot. Not ready for too much flying but your tips help with car travel as well. We bring a car organizer that we take on our trips. When we arrive at our hotel we bring it to our room. Some of the items we bring is a travel drip coffee maker and our favorite ground coffee. Another essential is a travel candle and lighter. A lovely scent is essential in some hotel rooms.

I love the idea of a dedicated travel drawer! Space is a serious issue in my place. I make do with stuffing everything into a carry on bag when I'm not travelling. I have been looking forward to the video of your tackle box travel organization. You know me, I just love me some good organization porn!! Mine are not this fancy, I have things categorized in stackable plastic ammo crates, with different things within it in ziplocs (like my collection of little kits from Potty Packs, which has a great selection of different little pocket sized kits for a variety of purposes. In addition to their initial and signature Potty Packs, I most often use their Parks Pack (good for music festivals and powwows) and Winter Pack. BTW, I noticed you do not yet have the double sided glasses case that has been a big thing on travel blogs lately. I keep my distance glasses in one side (in case I lose a lens or at the end of the day when I take my lenses out) and sunglasses in the other side. My reading glasses are the tiny wallet size and folding keychain readers. The basket on the floor system is great, IFF you don't have mice!!! I lost so much during the mouse infestation. They just love chewing up silicon pouches and bags!! Those popper plates, etc are great. I just got back from my powwow travels, and found my Sea to Summit X set was perfect for hotel room cooking and dining.

Great organization skills!!! I am packing the bare minimum lately… It does require lots of previous planning (and sometimes I get lazy trying every outfit combination to make sure it was actually works) but worth it.

Wow Eunice, as someone who considers themselves organized… I’ve got nothing on you! That’s not just next level… that’s unbelievable! Really nice and decorated so well. My, only real trick or method is keeping a peak design toiletry pouch packed and ready to go at all times. Also, I keep my EDC organized so that I can simply remove a few items easily that aren’t suitable for flights. Otherwise everything goes. And I have those waterproof pouches I showed you which are pre-packed for overnighters or flights for like travel medicine kits and such. I think I showed you. Have a great week!

I keep most things in my backpack. When I return from a trip, I replenish what needs to be and then I’m ready to go. The things I don’t take with me every time are in a bin in the closet. I just reorganized all of it!

I have an IKEA bed that raises up to store underneath. That is where I keep all luggage and travel accessories in bins and containers! Cruise items are in separate bin from other travel options. My daughter talked me into thinning the items. A couple of carry on bags went to Goodwill that I haven’t used in a long time!,,😌

Thank you for sharing your packing organisation. I am a bit of a packing cube nerd and I love all things to do with packing organisation. I keep most of my things in cupboards in one of my spare bedrooms, now that my children have left home. It would be great to see a video on all of your cubes, bags and suitcases.
So if you’re looking at the video and you go back where I’m showing you the little drawers in the closet you’ll notice two duffel bags on the left-hand side and those contain all of my packing cubes and other toiletries bags and other bags that I have tried out or sometimes use. Someday I’ll have to do a video on empty those out and show you how much stuff I have accumulated.😂🤣💕😊

This was an amazing set up for organizing your many areas of travel that we all get to enjoy via your videos. My system is pretty basic, but I had a red roller bag that got updated with one that was a spinner and slightly smaller, so I just use zip lock bags of different sizes and keep anything travel related in that suitcase. It's never used as a suitcase, so the stuff I don't use for a particular trip just stays inside it, close to the actual luggage.
@@deedsh6280 I used to keep everything in Ziploc bags and in other bags or boxes, but it was so hard to see everything and I kept taking plastic bags out to see what was there and then then having a hard time putting them back in. Of course I have a lot of stuff and being an influencer on social media means I’m always trying out new things or getting things from so I have a lot of stuff to organize.😊 thank you for sharing your idea with us!

I keep all my compression packing cubes, luggage tags and straps, and luggage scale in our suitcases. In my closet, I have a shelf with a couple of portable safes, phone/ipad stands, stuffable neck pillows, a variety of reusable zip top bags and our “spots.” These would be small pop up open cubes and flat leather squares that snap at the corners to form valets so each family member has a place to put their eyeglasses, hotel key, jewelry, etc when at a hotel room.
I also keep a large flat bin on the floor of my closet (under some hanging clothes), which has individually wrapped wipes (Clorox, deodorant, personal care, alcohol swabs, etc.), refillable spray bottles, refillable airless pump bottles, and travel containers. I need to do a better job of wrangling up various pouches and small bags; right now some are in the bathroom and some in my closet.
All portable kitchen items are in the wet bar cabinetry in our basement since much of it can be used for guests who stay for a while.
I try not to have a lot of overstock toiletries and first aid or the items will expire before I have a chance to use them and then I’ve stored them for nothing.
This was a fun video. Always interesting to see how others stay organized.

Pretty much the way you do is pretty perfect it's hard to stay organized but I have a similar system just scattered because I have no closets but when I do go through I try to do every 6 months or every year I do a alot or rotation and tend to finish the older products even if they don't work for me instead of throwing away I don't like to waste especially if I paid a pretty penny great video

I love your stuff. I thought I was a bit of a hoarder of useful items but I have nothing on you. The main difference is that many of the things I use are already in my day to day handbag or kitchen etc and are in daily use. I don’t have separate make up etc. I only have a couple of boxes of small bottles, travel size toiletries, wipes and so on. I should probably also add that I’m in the Uk and it doesn’t seem as easy or usual to have all those sachets of individual wipes for different uses

You have much nice stuff ♥️. I know I'd be having a hard time knowing what to choose for a trip, given so much choice. My overseas and flight travel gadgets live in my carryon suitcase. Travel toiletries in a box in the bathroom. And food related things in a picnic basket, in a closet. I carry some other things daily.

I bought those 3-in-1 toothbrushes and used one last week for my trip. I agree, they’re great! They’re going to replace my Colgate Wisps. I love how we can evolve with each trip, and better products are created.
I am still perfecting my travel storage system, but my preference is clear pullout shoe drawers with clear zip pouches that I keep on my bathroom shelves. I also like to have things visual. I always want to see everything in detail because you give such great ideas. 😁
P.S. I also think those Olay melts will be better than the cloths. I saw a commercial on the Olympics with one of the women’s gymnasts. I’m sold!
And I also want to try a Korean green tea powder face wash.

You make such great videos!!! I always learn so much. I have a couple of checklists that I have. One is for things I always bring, and the other is for things that are particular for that trip. I keep some things packed already like my hygiene kit, my electronics kit, my entertainment kit, my first aid kit, my survival kit, my edc kit, etc. Those things I keep in my travel backpack (which I refill when I get home and check before I leave, just in case).

I have a few bins and baskets but you have inspired me to refine my categories. One thing that i find challenging is toiletries. I don't want to leave moisturizer and serums in those little containers for months so i finish them off, wash and dry them and store them with their tops off so they don't get moldy. It is laborious but i use many things that might go bad (sunscreen, vitamin c serum, etc). Still looking for an easier system.
Yeah, I did a TH-cam short a few weeks ago about how when you get back from vacation you should use up all of the toiletries and makeup that you put in little containers so that they don’t get bacteria. However, if you do travel a lot and you’re using it, I think it’s OK to leave it in some of those refillable containers.😊

I bought the little fan after seeing yours. My truck doesn't have A/C! We don't travel a lot, so it's not practical to store things like you but maybe when we retire!
I checked out the craft bins when you said they're not expensive...$21.76US. Almost $30Cdn. Not my definition of "not expensive" for the number you have, but man, it looks amazing to open those doors and see everything so organized!
Also, expiry dates...I was saving toothpastes from the dentist and notice the EXP was quite soon. Same thing for a lot of my supplements/ibuprofen etc. You have a lot of things there, how can you use it all before expiry?

I’m certain things I don’t worry about the expiration date. For example, toothpaste, I have four years and years use expired toothpaste. I’ve never had a problem however expired medication gets tossed and refilled.😊

Don’t get me wrong, I love your channel and the idea behind it - but - this video was an example of too much consumption. I can’t imagine all is used before expiring. That said, I would like to see a video on what you find yourself actually selecting the most often for your travels. Despite the destination. Admittedly I am a less is more kind of traveler, I like a light load. It’s less to be responsible for and less stressful. But again, I like your channel - would just like to know what in your organizational arsenal gets your attention the most. Thanks.
