He was filming so I'm 99% sure he was trying to pull off some sick drifts. Look, its nothing to be embarrassed of, lots of people do it. I've done it before and spun out luckily just ran a curb and that was it.
He didn’t drift, he was driving and driving in the middle of the road cause there was no cars, rear of his car slid and lost balance and flipped in the ditch.
I crashed my E91 320d BMW almost the same way. I spent a lot of money and time on it and it was honestly a beautiful car... Then one small oversteer happened, and all gone. It happened a couple months ago and i still think about it all the time and it feels horrible. That was my first car and i will always remember it, i was proud of it, and how important it was to me.
Bro you reminded me about how I destroyed my Infiniti. I was swinging my G35 and since I was not as skilled as I thought I was I hit a curb and just destroyed everything. Cracked the frame and the entire suspension on the right side fell on the ground. I could only drive it in reverse barely, so i drove it in reverse back to my shop ( no cars on the road remarkably) and put it on a lift. Car was totaled and I sold the entire car for $500.
I just learned that 2 days ago, it was raining and I was coming home to bring food to family. And I went up a hill probably to fast and hydroplane in a ditch and my car flipped 2 or 3 times. I had to crawl out of the back window and luckily I only came out with a scratch. My parents just literally got me the car 5 months ago as a present. It was a 2015 Mustang GT and I loved that car. But I learned my lesson, don't play with slippery roads.

Those roads were so icy u shouldn't have been over 30 mph plus ur in rwd car which is 3x worse in ice and snow. You were asking to go into the ditch or brakes lock up

Well it wasn't to fast on that road,it was to fast for him on that road!!And well his driving isn't the best,if it was me i would either of kept it on the road or gotten it in the other ditch with just a simple bumper replacement!

Adam Nivet actually the traction control was broken..previous owner disconnected it. I have been sliding before 😅 but here it was to slippery for me and i simply lost control. Was going to fast maybe..speed limit is 60km/t, but that was too fast on these conditions 😳
Guys what are you talking about.. e36 has 0 assists, its one of unsafiest cars in the world, let me explain it. The weight of the car is really low, its rear wheel drive, it has a pretty powerful engine, has no ABS, ESP, DSC or anything else that could help you to drive it. Sorry but the sentence in your video “e36 safety” is just ridiculous
My car has some nice snow tires on it (tiger paw, cost like 350$) and is AWD and I won't go over 20mph when it's really bad outside and the roads aren't plowed well. You were going way too fast, and that definitely wasn't the sensible thing to do. I'm glad you weren't hurt too bad, or even killed. Next time, go slow and stay safe. It's better to be safe then sorry.
I was in a car crash, after it I went into shock. It was bloody scary. But I came out with minor concussion. The whole front of the car was gone. Well done mate. It’s not easy, especially for someone who has done it before. Well done.

My Honda Accord 2005 was in a similar situation only a few weeks ago. It was my first car and I loved it so much. To anyone who does not drive, it's hard to understand how much love you can gain for a hunk of metal. I'm still depressed about it and I still dont have a car since it was completely totaled. My car skidded on ice, did a 180, hit a house and flipped. It was absolutely terrifying. The whole time before the accident I had a really bad feeling and even said in my head that I was going to crash today. Please, whenever you feel something may be unsafe or that you may be in trouble, pull over and wait or go back towards your previous destination.

Just know that a seatbelt won't be enough when shit goes south. I crashed my cooper S, a bmw mini and let me tell you. BMW makes some safe vehicles. My airbags were open sitting a bang and deflates right away but it still separated my head from the glass and other shit flying around. I lost control when leaving the highway and my car decided to spin at 100kph and hit the fucking tree. Probably a driver error... But don't know what.. possibly putting it in 2nd instead of 4th gear... whatever... have a new JCW cooper s now tho.
1. He was driving fast. 2. The car clearly isn't suitable for those conditions. 3. The tires weren't suitable for said conditions either. He knew all of this and as an adult should have known better. What if just what if he wasn't the only car I n that road at the time. That road is what we call a "landevei" in Norway and on a lot of them there isn't a posted speedlimit. When there isn't a posted speedlimit the speedlimit is automatically 80 km/h. On the other side he should have been more careful when driving in those roadconditions :-)

He didn't try to drift, he started to slide into the ditch and he corrected the steering wheel causing the car to go sideways. The wheel caught on the ground causing it to flip.

I was about to say the same thing, if he had electric windows and his battery got disconnected in the crash he'd be stuck in the car. Only thing he could try to do is kick out one of the windows, but I doubt he'd be able to do that with the amount of legroom he had as the roof caved in on him.

Zero sympathy. Had no reason to be out driving in these road conditions, let alone speeding on them. I see a lot of other people agree with me. The way those roads looked. Here in Wisconsin might cause you to be a few minutes late to work. Last year we got a snow storm that dumped over 20 inches of snow. Hardly any places shut down. I was driving to work in plowed roads. With 3-6 inches of snow on them, and pretty sure it still only took me a few extra minutes to get to work.

You should adapt the speed to the road condition, if the sign says 60kmh on a snowy and slippery road, you should maybe lower your speed. And i'm probably sure he didn't drive normally before the crash, that's probably why he didn't show the whole video. And why would he even record if he was going to drive normally, there's nothing interesting with that. You shoudn't overestimate your driving skills. Drive safe and use studded tires.
Yeah we call that relative speeding in my country. When you are driving too fast for the conditions (your limits, your cars limits, road condition, temperature, visibility conditions). Even if the sign says 90kmh on a road that's snowy and icy, don't go 90kmh

Adam Nivet actually the traction control was broken..previous owner disconnected it. I have been sliding before 😅 but here it was to slippery for me and i simply lost control. Was going to fast maybe..speed limit is 60km/t, but that was too fast on these conditions 😳

The weight of the car is really low, its rear wheel drive, it has a pretty powerful engine, has no ABS, ESP, DSC or anything else that could help you to drive it. Sorry but the sentence in your video “e36 safety” is just ridiculous

what are you on, they all have abs and powersteering, and some cars, dont know if the e36 is included in this, will use abs for traction control.
My car has some nice snow tires on it (tiger paw, cost like 350$) and is AWD and I won't go over 20mph when it's really bad outside and the roads aren't plowed well. You were going way too fast, and that definitely wasn't the sensible thing to do.
I'm glad you weren't hurt too bad, or even killed. Next time, go slow and stay safe. It's better to be safe then sorry.

My Honda Accord 2005 was in a similar situation only a few weeks ago. It was my first car and I loved it so much. To anyone who does not drive, it's hard to understand how much love you can gain for a hunk of metal. I'm still depressed about it and I still dont have a car since it was completely totaled. My car skidded on ice, did a 180, hit a house and flipped. It was absolutely terrifying. The whole time before the accident I had a really bad feeling and even said in my head that I was going to crash today. Please, whenever you feel something may be unsafe or that you may be in trouble, pull over and wait or go back towards your previous destination.
Zero airbags deployed. Not original steering wheel. Your lucky your alive.

Ziad123 bakkich the airbag doesn’t stay inflated it’s only on impact. When I wrecked my bmw, my steering wheel airbag saved my face from splitting.

I crashed my cooper S, a bmw mini and let me tell you. BMW makes some safe vehicles.
My airbags were open sitting a bang and deflates right away but it still separated my head from the glass and other shit flying around.
I lost control when leaving the highway and my car decided to spin at 100kph and hit the fucking tree. Probably a driver error... But don't know what.. possibly putting it in 2nd instead of 4th gear... whatever... have a new JCW cooper s now tho.

in all sense it is the drivers fault, any car can handle that surface but not over like 50 kph, the speedlimit was 60 kph

That road is what we call a "landevei" in Norway and on a lot of them there isn't a posted speedlimit. When there isn't a posted speedlimit the speedlimit is automatically 80 km/h. On the other side he should have been more careful when driving in those roadconditions :-)

He didn't try to drift, he started to slide into the ditch and he corrected the steering wheel causing the car to go sideways. The wheel caught on the ground causing it to flip.

I was about to say the same thing, if he had electric windows and his battery got disconnected in the crash he'd be stuck in the car. Only thing he could try to do is kick out one of the windows, but I doubt he'd be able to do that with the amount of legroom he had as the roof caved in on him.

The way those roads looked. Here in Wisconsin might cause you to be a few minutes late to work. Last year we got a snow storm that dumped over 20 inches of snow. Hardly any places shut down. I was driving to work in plowed roads. With 3-6 inches of snow on them, and pretty sure it still only took me a few extra minutes to get to work.

You should adapt the speed to the road condition, if the sign says 60kmh on a snowy and slippery road, you should maybe lower your speed.
And i'm probably sure he didn't drive normally before the crash, that's probably why he didn't show the whole video. And why would he even record if he was going to drive normally, there's nothing interesting with that.
You shoudn't overestimate your driving skills. Drive safe and use studded tires.
Yeah we call that relative speeding in my country. When you are driving too fast for the conditions (your limits, your cars limits, road condition, temperature, visibility conditions). Even if the sign says 90kmh on a road that's snowy and icy, don't go 90kmh
