Full disclosure, offroadinggear.com sent this tent to us in exchange for a review. This isn't the most thorough review as we only had one night to camp. I plan on really putting this thing to the test once camping season is upon us. If you're into overlanding, car camping, or just camping in general then give this tent a hard look. The instructions for setup aren't the most clear but I was able to figure it out. I am not convinced that cot's work well in this just due to the size. Perhaps two people on cots would still leave room for gear, but an air mattress seems like a better fit. The neat thing is that we were able to utilize our truck bed. An SUV might be better because you don't have the tailgate sticking into the tent as the back hatch would be lifted and out of the way. I would like to do a trip where we camp in a different spot every night for a couple nights and see if it becomes a pain to setup or if it really works better. Having owned a roof top tent (rtt) it just did not suit us. My kids thought it was neat but my wife did not like it at all. Plus you lose mobility with it setup. I went on a hunt where we drove the truck around and just camped out of a tent. I could see this being beneficial for that situation as everything was in the back of the truck and I could detach the tent from the truck and then reattach when we returned to camp in the evening. Connecting it to the vehicle could not have been simpler, there are extra straps to suit most vehicle types. Overall it was accommodating and I would like to get more practice setting it up to increase efficiency. It is really worth a look!!!

I have a 2 room SUV tent , works great on the jeep or truck with the topper. I bring a throw rug to help protect the floor and more comfortable on the feet.
Love the vid. Kind of like how you get access to the bed of truck. Especially if it's raining and your kitchen and things are there. I think it has it's purpose. Will keep researching but you got me interested. Little man sure gets in there and helps. Love that. Awesome dad for the win!

I used this a few weeks ago as a stand alone tent and it worked great!
Too bad there's mesh in the ceiling. Makes it difficult to heat for winter camping.
Yeah, I wouldn't take it anywhere real cold. More of a 3 season tent
