Not on cuts. Moving around will remove it anyways and gather dirt and germs. Use a antibiotic Bandage

@@joevaniee it is the same but vaseline is thicker. I tried different ones and vaseline is the best imo. The other are too waterly. It's like getting walmark coke and getting the real coke. You can experiement with different products but try and find one that is thick and sticky. For me I stick to vaseline, even though all the other products work.

That Doesn't work for all wounds, the doctor decides if the wound is contaminated, then proper cleaning and tetanus vaccine is required at the hospital within few hours after the injury .. so seeking medical advice in case of wounds is important.

Vaseline will disappear after it being touched on different objects . Going to get infected either way. I say use antibiotic bandages

I recommend putting the vaseline on AROUND the cut which will still heal the cut and when it is ready to be put on the cut then go ahead and gently apply the vaseline.
