Interstitial - Dark ambient synth jam #26

Daw-less hardware synth jam with mostly analog (or analog emulated) synth gear recoded live. Each jam I use different combinations of gear to compose and improvise a song in a single evening, sometimes with the help of my cat Edgar.
In this jam I'm going for dungeon-like ambient sounds using the Arturia granular sample processor (the "hit grains" type), making heavy use of it's mod matrix to introduce various motion to the sample I created using Spitfire Audio's (free) frozen string sample library which is one of my favourites. The two reverbs are doing a lot of heavy lifting. The dual stereo reverb of the Ocean's 12 is generating both shimmer and resonant reverb, while the Slotva reverb is being applied to the Univox to generate a string-like synth sound. The Slotva has a modulation effect hat can be applied to the wet sound to produce a violin-like vibrato.
